Clearbank VOP Service review **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Timothy A. | Product Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2026 **What do you like best about Surepay?** We had a really good relationship manager and product manager who were very knowledgeable and consistently helpful in understanding our queries and in accommodating our specific security needs throughout the engagement, every step of the way. **What do you dislike about Surepay?** There was some miscommunication with the implementation manager; an appropriate communication channel was not set up, and therefore it was very difficult to maintain contact about urgent issues during a critical phase of the integration. **What problems is Surepay solving and how is that benefiting you?** Surepay provides VOP request-and-response services for us, which benefits our team because we don't have to build or operate that infrastructure; we only need to maintain our APIs. Surepay also keeps the service updated in accordance with the VOP Rulebook. ### 2. Whenever I want to speak to them, they’re really responsive, and proactive in finding solutions. They’re also keen to get our advice on how to improve the product and are willing to listen to us and incorporate our feedback, which I really appreciate. **What do you dislike about Surepay?** As with all vendors that require technical integration, alignment issues arise. But these don't arise as often as other vendors, and thanks to their proactive support, they're resolved quickly. **What problems is Surepay solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use Surepay for quick and reliable IBAN name checks and will soon make use of fraud risk indicator information, which will assist our fraud identification systems. ### 3. In case of a mistype accountnumber (i.e. accountnumber is not valid/technical correct) the message presented by Surepay is "not active"w while "not correct" is expected. **What problems is Surepay solving and how is that benefiting you?** In case Surepay services are/cannot be used the name can only be retrieved by workarounds (e.g. request for copy statement of customer) ### 7.
