A product that gives remote control over handheld devices!" 5/5 What do you like best about SureMDM by 42Gears? We have a lot of handhelds on the floor in production and with the ability to use them like a computer we risk the users going onto the internet, causing both the potential for distraction in a manufacturing environment and the potential for a cyber attack. The product filled a void for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is SureMDM by 42Gears solving and how is that benefiting you? As I said before; it helps keep our production employees on task and helps lower our security risks. Beyond that we are able to provide support without having our IT staff go to the floor, This enables quick problem solving with allows IT staff to focus on other issues instead of traveling back and forth to the production floor. The users also save time and don't have to wait for someone to come to their rescue... help is immediate. We are also looking to use Sure MDM as a management tool for display kiosks on the production floor and in managers offices - we are assured the product can do this. We need a mobile data management solution that works at scale. We use SureMDM, SureLock by 42Gears for our SentryERS emergency response system at Motorola Solutions for thousands of devices that are deployed at our customer locations. SureMDM is a critical support and management tool that allows us to have secure and seamless access to all of these devices in a simple and organized platform. Currently no migration tool to migrate from a staging to production environment. In our case our system was already setup and we wanted to deploy a new staging environment. The one issue that we had was 42Gears having the appropriate device brand and model enrollment file from the OEM. 42Gears had to contact the manufacturer to obtain it. What problems is SureMDM by 42Gears solving and how is that benefiting you? 42Gears allows us to completely automate the process of enrolling and configuring a mobile handheld barcode scanner from out of the box new to secured and functional with our data collection software by scanning one QR code. Currently, permission is required every time we connect to a company-owned phone. Please look into this. The SureMDM product is one of the most robust and feature rich products on the market. Customer support excelled my expectations. Installation and setup were quick and easy. Within an hour we were able to push out a policy and have our new hardware in production. I highly recommend anyone looking for a great product at a very affordable price to checck out 42Gears and all their products. We still have no issues with them because we are new to this MDM. Hopefully, they will continue to provide good support.
