The team at Sunday Sky are wonderful business partners. They are receptive to new ideas, happy to come up with solutions together, are great with working with specific budgets and requirements, and are a very quick to respond/ easy to work with. They are very knowledgable about their craft and help every step along the way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SundaySky?

They did miss some details (minor QA items) prior to launch, but as the SME/ business user, our team caught them and Sunday Sky was quick to implement fixes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"If you can use PowerPoint, you can build amazing videos in SundaySky."
4/5
What do you like best about SundaySky?

Personalized videos are fantastic attention grabbers! SundaySky democratises video for people that would otherwise not know where or how to begin. It's very easy to use. If video is foreign to you, their AI chat bot does an impressive job trying to understand your use case, brand voice, audience, etc., and prepares a script and a video all on its own (after a short conversation with you of course). It's not perfect out of the box but it's a great starting place. Their packages include access to Videoblocks music and Getty Images and B-Roll. You can't take these assets outside of SundaySky but it's great to literally have everything you need to create video included with your package. My background is in video production and the quality and speed to get to a finished video in SundaySky makes it a compelling option versus hiring an agency which is expensive and slow. SundaySky videos are rendered in real time, at the moment a user clicks play. This means you can embed a video into a landing page for instance, when you make changes or updates to the video in SundaySky and hit publish, the changes are reflected live on your landing page and anywhere else the videos are embedded. This cuts out video hosting platforms serving as middle men. Their staff is really responsive and their product team is very active in collecting user feedback. What do you dislike about SundaySky?

Platform Transparency: The product itself is polished, but the way they structure the platform and premium features is not. Since becoming customers, SundaySky developed and released data connectors for Salesforce, Hubspot, Google Sheets, etc. We received market communication celebrating the release so we logged into the platform and hooked up the data connectors without issue. In future conversations with our representative, we learned that there is a cost associated with using data connectors yet there were no indications, warnings, that these were premium features. They were understanding about the situation and we came to an agreement. However, it was a strange experience as a customer. Personalization: While it's easy to build a video with personalization tokens, the process of embedding videos into a landing page came with a steep learning curve. If you are a Hubspot user and familiar with personalization tokens and URL parameters then this is probably a non-issue for you. Voice Over Limitations: SundaySky offers AI Voice Over artists complete with a pronunciation library to correct mispronunciation of names or words. This is great but there is no inflection tool. This can lead to having to rewrite phrases in a scene to get a natural delivery of your script. You can create default voice over statements or default text on screen to be shown when data tokens are not available ("Hello there" versus "Hello Paul") but you can't define conditions or logic to pivot to a default state if the pronunciation is incorrect or wrong. Because of this, we are only using personalization for text on screen. Not for voice over. I would love to see a logic system in place where users, we can define a confidence rating on name/word pronunciation. If confidence drops below 80% then pivot to default state. At the time of this writing, there is no such feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"SundaySky enables scalable video marketing"
5/5
What do you like best about SundaySky?

SundaySky is extremely intuitive. We've been able to quickly onboard and train new employees, who are able to typically attend a quick training meeting and then begin creating videos the same day. Whenever we do have questions, the SundaySky resource and help center is easy to access and usually has the information we're seeking. If not, we've found their support team to be responsive and helpful. Additionally, we've been able to quickly scale our video marketing because of the ease of use and because SundaySky's templates and text-to-voice narration enable shorter production time. We've also appreciated how dedicated SundaySky is to continuous improvement. Most pain points that we've experienced that we've communicated to SundaySky have since been addressed or are on the road map. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SundaySky?

Because we've created so many videos with SundaySky, we're now trying to push the limits of the templates to customize videos to avoid them all looking too similar. Of course, we recognize that the templates are what have allowed us to create videos so quickly and efficiently, but we worry we now run the risk of producing videos that feel repetitive. I do know that SundaySky is working on creating more flexibility within the templates to help solve for this pain point. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great customization and easy video creation"
5/5
What do you like best about SundaySky?

The platform itself is very user friendly. We've been able to create videos in a matter of hours without a ton of technical support or knowledge on how to create a video. The personalization is also very easy to do! Setup was super easy, and we've been making videos much more often than in the past. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SundaySky?

They created it in a way that you don't overthink things, but sometimes it means there's not a lot of flexibility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"SundaySky is a helpful beginners' video-building tool for many presentation-style projects"
3.5/5
What do you like best about SundaySky?

The fact that animations are pre-built, text is easy to rewrite, stock images and audio are built in, and the AI feature has been invaluable to us, even for videos not built entirely in SundaySky. The themes are also fairly easy to customize with brand colors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SundaySky?

SundaySky proclaimed to have readily-available VO artists on hand if you needed something more personalized than an AI voice, but they are late in response time and delivery. There could also be more detailed customizations for text placement and animation, as well as control of timing/length of a scene. Finally, my least favorite aspect is the export quality; it is always pixelated, unless you use the SundaySky player, which my team cannot due to website limitations. "SundaySky Review as an in-house Video Specialist for my Organization"
3.5/5
What do you like best about SundaySky?

What I like the most about SundaySky is being able to empower our teammates with on-brand video templates that are pretty locked down so that those without or very little experience in video editing can make amazing on-brand videos. I also love the extensive stock library and options that are available to everyone. Our organization also appreciated the ease of implementation and the cooperation of our dedicated SundaySky champion assisting with the initial onboarding. We find with this cooperation, integrating SundaySky into our operations was a breeze. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SundaySky?

What I dislike about SundaySky about SundaySky is some of the layout limitations in some of the scene templates. I wish I could mirror which side a lower third is on and resize buttons. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great for B2B!"
5/5
What do you like best about SundaySky?

The ease of user experience. I like that I can come in with my completed script, some ideas of visuals, and get a video completed and approved within an hour or so. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SundaySky?

AI feature isn't great. I've tried to use several times with a full script, I've never liked anything that it pulls together and I usually have to start from scratch again. Not a big deal though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Unique & Creative Way To Reach Consumers"
4.5/5
What do you like best about SundaySky?

I love that SundaySky has so many customizable features with designs, colors, narration voices, music library, stock photos and videos, and languages. It's also helpful to have a video template library to help me get started if I'm not sure where to begin. One of the coolest features is the AI Co-Pilot. This feature is able to create a video so quickly! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SundaySky?

The only downsides I've noticed while using the platform is that it can be slow to upload videos. Like many other technology tools, it has its glitchy moments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I am hoping for further updates that allow for more customization and freeform within the platform. I would love to be able to change AI voices for different scenes, and upload larger files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
