  ### 1. Effortless Dashboards That Simplify System Monitoring

**What do you like best about SquaredUp?**

What I like best about SquaredUp is how easy it makes it to actually see what’s going on across all my systems. I’m not a huge fan of digging through raw data or complex reports, so having everything visualized in a clean, interactive dashboard really helps me stay on top of things. I also like how quickly I can build or adjust dashboards without needing to rely on technical help. It’s honestly made my day-to-day work smoother and a lot less stressful.

**What do you dislike about SquaredUp?**

One aspect I find less appealing about SquaredUp is that setting up new data integrations or creating custom visualizations can occasionally take longer than anticipated, particularly when working with more uncommon data sources. Additionally, there is a noticeable learning curve at the beginning as you try to understand how to fully utilize all the available features. However, once everything is configured, the platform performs very well. It just requires some patience to get things set up exactly as you want.

**What problems is SquaredUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SquaredUp has helped address the challenge of scattered and siloed data. Previously, I had to switch between several different tools just to get a comprehensive view of system health and performance. Now, with everything consolidated into a single platform featuring clear, real-time dashboards, my data visibility has greatly improved. I can identify issues more quickly, recognize trends with greater ease, and share insights with others without the hassle of exporting or explaining raw data. Managing systems has become much more proactive for me, rather than simply reacting to problems as they arise.

**What do you like best about SquaredUp?**

I like that I can connect to APIs and Databases as integrations. The application is easy to use. Customer service is outstanding. I use SquaredUp everyday. I look at a dashboard as soon as I clock in. Extremely to implement.

**What do you dislike about SquaredUp?**

Not able to put multiple servers in maintenance mode at one time

**What problems is SquaredUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SquaredUp makes server mangement extremly easy. I am able to give our SOC insight to the servers, also able to give insight to our Operations Center with squared up Dashboards.

There is nothing that I dislike about SCOM Dashboard Server

Fast report generation compared to the SCOM GUI is a big plus.

**What do you like best about SquaredUp?**

SquaredUp allows you to quickly and easily create your own production dashboard. Its directly integrated alongside SCOM and facilitates the feedback of essential information.
The teams have a direct view of the state of health of the production. The visio diagram import functionality and the possibility of having dynamic dashboards is just incredible.

**What do you dislike about SquaredUp?**

No negative things ; the constant developments make it possible to compensate for the shortcomings.

**What problems is SquaredUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SCOM does not provide a simple and effective view of the state of health of its information system

**What do you like best about SquaredUp?**

The most helpful benefit is that you can easily visualize data that the SCOM interface is highly challenged to do! Also, as admin's get used to it, they can easily lèverait to their own needs!

**What do you dislike about SquaredUp?**

I cannot recall any dislike, out the so many users talk about it and share the link to it that we are lacking user licences ;)

**What problems is SquaredUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Seeing and visualizing  the SCOM data is the Uber need! Having Many ways to publish the data form is great!

**What do you like best about SquaredUp?**

The software is well designed and easy to use. It keeps evolving by onboarding new integrations and re-inventing the user experience. 
It just makes fun to use it.

It keeps the promise to be  "One pan of glass" in your datacenter. 

It can serve as an ideal replacement for the Operations Manager console. It is modern, fast responding, and never feels bored.

SquaredUp lives a Customer-first attitude and offers excellent support. Feature requests are considered and also appreciated.

Open Access dashboards are an ideal way to provide a holistic overview of an application and their components to any stakeholder. Depending on the audience,  dashboards can be detailed or just showing key components.

**What do you dislike about SquaredUp?**

It is easy to spend a lot of time with this tool. It is addictive after having the first successful dashboards.

**What problems is SquaredUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With it we are reducing the silos between the teams.  SquaredUp unites information from Hypervisor, Server-OS, Services, Databases, 
Network, Cloud (Azure Log Analytics, Elastic Search, Azure Application Insights) and Applications over various connectors and common APIs. 

We are having a single view of the application state which reduces MTTR (Meant time to recover) in case of a failure.  The root lead can be found significantly faster. - Especially with distributed and Hybrid systems.

Last, it improves the daily efficiency for "log checking" and "performance checks" which helps to  spot potential issues on first sight.

**What do you like best about SquaredUp?**

While there is a need to understand the SCOM health model to get the most value out of SquaredUp, it makes it possible to deliver a view on Enterprise applications and overall service levels to the business and end-users. We use it to deliver the health state to the customer as a service provider. It allows the customer to focus on the overall health rather than individual components and incidents. Integrations with other sources of information ( we used Azure REST, Citrix NITRO, SQL queries for instance) deliver on the single pane of glass promise. You can create a lot of dashboards without specific knowledge of the product and then add more advanced techniques later on.

**What do you dislike about SquaredUp?**

As it relies on IIS, it inherits the issues with Kerberos and multiple authentication domains. It does not have all extensibility features of Grafana, for instance but does trade that for an easier learning curve

**What problems is SquaredUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deliver the right amount of information to non-technical employees and customers. Securely report on customer infrastructure health and service levels without exposing information belonging to shared infrastructure or other customers. Bring information together from multiple sources

**What do you like best about SquaredUp?**

It is so easy to use. It gives you the opportunity to present monitoring data for nontechnical users. Our developers love the fact that they can see the load on their systems when they run tests.
It speeds up the time investigating potential problems when you quickly can pull up and compare graphs between servers.

**What do you dislike about SquaredUp?**

There is nothing to dislike about this product. The only thing I can think of right now is that is kind of tricky to limit which dashboards that will be accessible for external users.
I have created a solution via URL rewrite to handle those dashboard I want to be visible for the whole world.

**Recommendations to others considering SquaredUp:**

Just do it! :D

**What problems is SquaredUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I wanted to give access to monitoring data to non scom admins. The benefits are faster solutions to problem and less questions about those red and yellow dots.

**What do you like best about SquaredUp?**

The tool allows us to distribute SCOM data to Application Support teams better and have less reliance on the day-to-day operation of the SCOM console.
Mobile access is also a Godsend!
Not to mention that Tech support is very much above par.

**What do you dislike about SquaredUp?**

HA support could be better.
Test license should better mimic what is in production

**Recommendations to others considering SquaredUp:**

This is a fantastic addition to the System Center Operations Manager's offering that needs to seriously be considered by anyone using SCOM.

**What problems is SquaredUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We don't need to maintain SCOM consoles on multiple clients, nor do we need to use the depreciated Silverlight on the old SCOM Web Console.  The new SCOM Web console is nice but nowhere near the quality of the SquaredUp Interface.

Also, we can now access SCOM from our mobiles; with a bit of tweaking, this allows us to reboot servers without having to use our laptops, which is a lifesaver when on call (and more!)

There is not much to dislike about the product.

Dashboard creator is awesome!  You can create personalized dashboards with the information you need most.

There is a huge learning curve, but that's with anything.  Support is awesome!

Don't get frustrated when first using, one you get the hang of it you will wonder how you ever lived without it.

**What problems is SquaredUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Able to compile and visualize all data in one location, and share it out with team mates.  It makes it easier to manage VMware devices through custom dashboards.
