The technology comes from Speech Graphics, the Edinburgh company behind facial animation in major video games and films. Rapport brings that same animation quality to live practice sessions, with real-time responses in every conversation. What you see is a genuine interaction, not stitched video. Sales teams use Rapport to rehearse objection handling, discovery calls, and negotiation against avatars that push back like real buyers. Its intuitive interface and robust features make it an ideal choice for businesses looking to innovate their customer engagement strategies. **What do you like best about Rapport?** I love the quality and backstory of Rapport, especially knowing it was spun out of speech graphics in the gaming industry; it really shines through in the avatars. The facial expressions, realness, and engaging animations provide a fantastic experience. I think the avatars are a game-changer, offering something other AI characters lack—intelligent and real-time interaction that adapts to the user's mood, be it enthusiastic or more subdued. I also appreciate that Rapport is easy to use and quick to set up, with a straightforward integration process. The platform's sandbox environment is great for experimenting with characters, and the simplified pricing makes a strong commercial case for using it. I also have to mention the positive differentiation Rapport gives us, enhancing visual engagement beyond typical chatbot experiences. **What do you dislike about Rapport?** Nothing specifically to do with Rapport but I wish there were more easy to use avatar model builders fun order to create a wider range of characters **Recommendations to others considering Rapport:** To maximize the potential of Rapport, consider integrating it into various customer touchpoints, such as websites, mobile apps, and social media platforms. I also like the cartooniness of avatars…prevents the uncanny valley situation where they are too realistic but creepy. I also like how there's not much lag between my response and the avatar's response. Using Rapport is relatively easy. And the AI responses are realistic. **What do you dislike about Rapport?** The voices of the AI avatars seemed a bit off. They are still too robotic for my tastes and made the conversations feel unrealistic. I had a hard time taking the interactions seriously with the awkward voices. I also found that the information reported in the Rapport report (after you complete a conversation) was odd...it was giving feedback on the Avatar and not me as the user. If you could improve those two features, then this would be a spectacular product to share with students at my university. They would love getting practice sessions in for their learning using a platform like Rapport, where then can fail in a safe environment. **What problems is Rapport solving and how is that benefiting you?** Rapport is making it possible to have practice training sessions with students. I've just beta-tested it at our university, but it has a lot of potential. Students can practice anytime and removes the hurdles of needing a real person to conduct the practice session. It scales well with large classes. ### 3. People can land on a marketing landing page and have a conversation with an avatar that understands the subject matter of the page and our business. This is an amazing product, with a great team, great support, and an incredibly well thought out architecture, optimized for scale. With several seamless integrations with frontier models, as well as integrations with custom AI models available, you will be able to interact with your AI via spoken dialogue instead of written text, and can even have your AI models look like your favorite gaming character. It's easy to use, easy to implement and setup, can be used as frequently as you want, all at a very friendly price point. You can focus on the science of building reliable and efficient AI models while Rapport will do the rest to make your models look and feel engaging! **What do you dislike about Rapport?** Not a lot, other than a slight apparent delay in responses (compensated for with the engagement achieved), and room for increasing how engaging the characters look when interacting. I must add that this is still the best lip-sync of any product I have seen on the market today, for real time interaction with AI models. **What problems is Rapport solving and how is that benefiting you?** We're Relativ.ai, Inc (https://relativ.ai) and we're in the business of building AI models to help practice high stakes conversations.
