In Spanning, when you go to the "sent" mail tab for a user, it shows a column for "From" but not a column for "To." This is ridiculous because when looking at emails for any user, all the "From" email addresses are the same as the user you are looking at, so this info is not needed; HOWEVER, if instead, it showed you a "To" column, then you could see who the email was sent to, which would be very useful. I have brought this up numerous times to tech support, who have all agreed that it makes perfect sense, but after years of suggesting it with no action, I'm not sure the programmers care. Anyone programmer who takes the time to look at this issue will understand why this is a no-brainer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Spanning Backup?

The time from start to first backup takes less than the time to pop a bag of popcorn in the microwave. I can backup mail, calendar, contacts, OneDrive, Teams, and Sharepoint all from one spot. We signed a 3 year contract with Spanning Backup. We understood the product to be unlimited backup - we are heavy Google Workspace users and the unlimited nature appealed to us.

After signing the contract our first year of service was uneventful. We dutifully paid our per licence fee +- $2,300 per year.

 At the beginning of this year we received a bill for over $12,000 of overage fees. We were never informed there was an overage fee, we had no communication with our account manager (they claim they sent an email but I can't find one).

 For an overage charge this significant we would expect a phone call and suggestions on ways to mitigate this, or perhaps cancel the contract if the service is not a good fit for our organisation.  

The original account manager was no longer working at Spanning Backup and the new account manager could not help us because he was not the original account manager.

Despite multiple attempts to escalate the issue and resolve it in good faith, nobody has been able to help and now we have received threatening lawyer's letters demanding payment.

Absolutely shocking service. We are still trying to get someone at Kaseya who can help us resolve this issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
