# Which Managed File Transfer Service Is Best for Tech Startups

<p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Hi all! I’m currently exploring secure and scalable<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/categories/managed-file-transfer-mft"> managed file transfer (MFT) solutions</a> for a fast-growing tech startup. We need something reliable enough for sensitive data, but not overbuilt for our current size. Bonus points if it’s startup-budget-friendly and cloud-first.</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">These are the platforms I’m looking at based on G2 reviews:</p><ol>

<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/progress-moveit/reviews"><strong>Progress MOVEit</strong></a><strong>:</strong> Known for enterprise-grade security—does it work well for leaner teams?</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/aws-transfer-family/reviews"><strong>AWS Transfer Family</strong></a><strong>:</strong> Fully managed and flexible, but curious how steep the learning curve is if you're not already deep in AWS.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/goanywhere-mft/reviews"><strong>GoAnywhere MFT</strong></a><strong>:</strong> Offers strong automation and security. Anyone using this in a cloud-native setup?</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/files-com/reviews"><strong>Files.com</strong></a><strong>:</strong> Seems user-friendly with solid collaboration features. Is it good for teams without a dedicated IT admin?</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/axway-managed-file-transfer/reviews"><strong>Axway Managed File Transfer</strong></a><strong>:</strong> Looks powerful, but is it too complex for startup needs?</li>
</ol><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">If your startup has gone through this decision, I’d love to hear what helped you choose, and whether you’d pick the same tool again today.</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true"></p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true"></p>

&lt;p&gt;Anyone using Files.com without a full IT team? Wondering if it really is as plug-and-play as it looks.&lt;/p&gt;
