What I love most about Sogolytics is how flexible and practical it is for our day-to-day digital commerce implementation work at InsureNova Digital Solutions. The first big issue is the clunky report customization. I often need to segment survey responses by user group, like separating first-time policy applicants from returning customers, so I can see how each group experiences our Optimizely enrollment flow. The built-in reporting options are pretty rigid. I can’t easily create custom filters and save them for reuse. Last month, after we rolled out updates to our auto insurance storefront, I ran a post-launch user survey. I had to rebuild the same filters every single time I wanted to check new incoming responses, which ate up a lot of my time. Exporting segmented data also tends to mess up formatting, so I always end up cleaning the spreadsheet manually afterwards.

I also find the platform’s page loading slow when working with long, multi-branched surveys. Our UX questionnaires can get fairly detailed because we need to walk users through each step of the policy enrollment journey. When I add multiple conditional logic rules, editing the survey becomes laggy. There were a couple times where my edits didn’t save properly, and I lost sections of the questionnaire I had built. It was really disruptive since we were on a tight deadline to collect user feedback before our next Optimizely sprint.

Another small but annoying point is the limited styling options for branding. We send these surveys to actual insurance customers, so it’s important they match our brand look and feel. Sogolytics only offers basic color changes, and I can’t fully embed our brand assets without things shifting around on different screen sizes. Sogolytics makes creating surveys and collecting responses much easier. I work as a Dietician and Nutritionist, manage a homeopathy clinic, and also create health education content. I use surveys and feedback forms to better understand people's experiences, measure how useful my health education activities are, and improve future programs. Sogolytics fits well into this process because I can create surveys, organize questions, share them in different ways, and review the responses from one place.

The ease of use was good because everything is clearly organized and easy to understand. Another thing I like is that it works well for both simple feedback forms and more detailed surveys, so I can use the same platform for different types of projects. The performance has also been good because surveys load quickly, responses are recorded properly, and reports are available without noticeable delays. I use it regularly whenever I need structured feedback or survey data. The ease of integration has also been good because the survey results fit naturally into the way I already review information and plan future health education activities. It offers a lot of features, so it took me a little time to become familiar with everything. Sometimes I spend a little longer finding a specific option when I want to make quick changes to a survey. As a content creator for a new educational program serving our non-profit organization, I found myself needing to create a self-assessment survey for the program participants. Having little prior experience with survey creation, I was unfamiliar with tools to do so.

From the moment I signed up for a free Sogolytics trial account, the entire experience flowed with ease. I quickly found the survey builder, and the transition from tire-kicking to building out my envisioned survey was so straightforward that I had a first draft of my entire survey before I realized that I wasn’t tire-kicking any more!

My demands of the survey builder for my survey were modest, needing to tap only a fraction of Sogolytics’ facilities. Beyond what I used I could see a vast construction kit of rich flexible primitives that could easily build a wide variety of survey types. I felt a bit like a kid in a candy store, starting to wonder what other surveys I could create!

The facilities to cover and distribute surveys were equally rich and flexible, and I was able to easily preview the draft survey with a few reviewers and tweak the survey in response to their feedback. I’ve now fielded my survey and, with responses coming in, utilizing the tracking and analytic side of the Sogolytics platform which unsurprisingly are also robust and powerful.

Needless to say I am totally sold on Sogolytics and have recommended to my organization Momentum for Men (www.momentumformen.org) that we adopt Sogolytics as our platform for all future surveys.
