I have found that many companies did not understand how to set it up. I found that some Softrax consultant were not proficient in their knowledge of Softrax. **Recommendations to others considering SOFTRAX:** Thoroughly understand your revenue recognition needs and what systems it will integrate with and how. **What problems is SOFTRAX solving and how is that benefiting you?** To move revenue recognition management away from excel and into a more secure system that is constantly being updated to changes in revenue recognition. The use of tiered pricing models allowed for a great deal of customization to the pricing by the sales team. **What do you dislike about SOFTRAX?** The version of SOFTRAX that we are using is hosted versus SaaS. It was very difficult to upgrade the couple of times we undertook that endeavor. The need to do old fashioned upgrades is the biggest negative, not the functionality. **What problems is SOFTRAX solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have used both the Revenue Management module and Billing. We never found another Revenue Management system that could handle the complexities that SOFTRAX could. In addition, Billing with the flexibility of tiered price models solved our complex billing issues. ### 4. We invoiced in multiple currencies world wide that ability made our work much easier. **What do you dislike about SOFTRAX?** The system could be a little clunky and moving from period to period could be difficult **Recommendations to others considering SOFTRAX:** Softrax provides a clear breakdown of the revenue recognition calculations. The correct amortization of deferred revenue was critical to our organization, we would not have had confidence in that amortization without Softrax **What problems is SOFTRAX solving and how is that benefiting you?** Confidence in our financials increased - the financials and records were easily auditable. We sold our software with the license and maintenance bundled, Softrax was able to provide us with clear revenue recognition. We sold through resellers and also direct to customers, softrax facilitated that process. ### 5.
