"Reliable, Low-Maintenance Platform for Scalable BI Data Workflows"
What do you like best about Snowflake?

Snowflake has been a reliable platform in my day to day data workflows. In my setup, I use dbt to run scheduled transformations and Snowflake handles these workloads efficiently. Data sharing is another area where Snowflake performs well. A notable advantage is the low maintenance requirement which reduces operational effort and allows more focus on analytics and modeling. Overall, Snowflake provides a stable, scalable and efficient environment for modern data operations, particularly in BI-driven use cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Snowflake?

With Snowflake, cost visibility can feel a bit unclear at first and it’s easy to run up higher usage if queries aren’t monitored closely that said the interface is well structured and intuitive which makes it straightforward to find, organize and manage resources efficiently. "Stable, Scalable Snowflake for Reporting on Large Datasets"
What do you like best about Snowflake?

I’m in Snowflake almost everyday for reporting work. Its been stable for me and doesn’t freeze, even when I’m working with large datasets. Writing queries feels straightforward and I rarely need much support to get things done. We also use it with looker and google sheeta, depending on who needs the data and how they prefer to access it. The option to scale compute up during heavier workloads and then scale it back down afterwards is helpful. I also appreciate not having to worry about infrastructure or ongoing maintenance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Snowflake?

Snowflake makes it very easy to manage dynamic schema updates, although I’ve also run into some slow performance at times. It streamlines data goverance and removea the storage constraints we used to deal with in traditional on prem databases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Smooth Reporting Pipelines with Looker/DBT and Effortless Scaling"
What do you like best about Snowflake?

I use Snowflake mainly for reporting pipelines. It integrates smoothly with tools like looker and DBT, and setting up transformations is fairly straightforward. I often rely on cloning tables without duplicating data when I’m testing changes. I also appreciate that storage can scale up without much advance planning and managing queries generally feels simple and efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Snowflake?

You can make it work, but it doesn’t feel very natural. The query history is helpful, yet when I need deeper troubleshooting, it still feels limited snowflake. That said, i do appreciate how user friendly it is especially for people who might not have technical background. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Snowflake Makes High-Volume Supply Chain Data Loads Smooth and Reliable"
What do you like best about Snowflake?

In a supply chain setup, I work with Snowflake every day to manage movement and inventory tracking data. It handles high volume workloads with very small setup requires on my end and I stage files in AWS S3, process everything inside Snowflake SnowFlake and then send the results to Power BI. Our data loads run on a schedule and I rarely run into failures unless something upstream breaks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Snowflake?

It really depnds on how people write queries badly written queries can slow things down and drive up costs. What I like is that I don’t have to worry about indexes or tuning the way I did with older systems. And even when multiple teams are running queries at the same time, performance doesn’t degrade much. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable, Fast Analytics at Scale with Snowflake"
What do you like best about Snowflake?

Snowflake has been reliable for handling large datasets. I use it for daily analytics work tied to our PHP applications, and the queries run fast, so I don’t have to spend time worrying about infrastructure management or constant tuning. It also integrates well with BI and ETL tools. Setting up pipelines and connecting external tools feels straightforward and its easy to get everything up and running. The separation of compute and storage is especailly useful when different teams are working at the same time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Snowflake?

One drawback is the limited low level control. Still, it reduced the load on production and made our analytics faster, which is a real and compared with other platforms like Snowflake, its a solid option. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Smooth, Scalable Queries and Easy Onboarding with Snowflake"
What do you like best about Snowflake?

We use Snowflake for ETL support and reporting and easy to onboard. Queries run smoothly even with large, heavy datasets. The integration with dbt and Tableau have also worked well without requiring extra setup, data sharing data across teams is quick and straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Snowflake?

Costs can vary a lot depending on how queries are written, and for new users it’s not always easy to track usage. Some admin work also takes time, especially task like access control. Still, the trade-off has been worth it for us. We’re spending more time on logic and less time troubleshooting performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast Performance and Team-Friendly Collaboration Features"
What do you like best about Snowflake?

Speed was the first thing I noticed even complex queries return results. I also appreciate the separation between compute and storage, which really helps when multiple teams are working off the same connection with dbt, AWS S3, and Looker, and it has made our overall workflow simpler. Additionally Features such as Time Travel and secure sharing have also been useful for collaborating across teams and keeping work organized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Snowflake?

It takes a little time to understand how warehouses consume credits and some of more advanced settings are not very clear initially monitoring solution itself is solid and being able to manage multiple data sources along with the integration support system on Snowflake works perfectly for what I need. "Consistent High-Performance Queries for High-Volume Data in Snowflake"
What do you like best about Snowflake?

Snowflake we process a high volume of sensor and log data, and snowflake keep queries performance stays consistent even when we’re running with heavy joins. That said the pricing model can feel a bit complex to understand at first, especially when you’re getting started. Writing SQL feels straightforward, and the UI is easy enough to navigate without much training. It integrates well with python scripts, Spark jobs, and even lightweight tools like Zapier for automation task, which makes it easier to fit into our existing workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Snowflake?

Python based processing inside snowflake isn’t always as fast as expect. Because of that, I sometimes run transformations externally first, then load the processed results back into snowflake. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Faster Queries and Seamless Secure Data Sharing with Snowflake"
What do you like best about Snowflake?

Handling large voulmes of inspection data in Snowflake used to feel slow for us, but it handles that workload much better now. Queries that previously took minutes are completing far faster, which has made our day to day analysis noticeably smoother. I also appreciate the secure data sharing features, since we can share datasets with extral vendors aithout having to create duplicates or maintain extra copies. On to of that, Snowflake integrations with tools like Salesforce and Zapier have been useful for keeping data in sync across systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Snowflake?

In my experience, Python user defined functions tend to be slower than SQL based operations. SO when we have heavier transformations to do in Snowflake, we’all sometimes run that processing outside of Snowflake first and then load the transformed results back in. "Snowflake Makes Multi-Source Data Integration and Reporting Easy"
What do you like best about Snowflake?

In my current role, I work with data from a range of sources, including AWS S3 and various APIs and Snowflake manages the ingestion easy process. When its paired with tools like Power BI, it also makes reporting straightforward for business teams. We’re able to integrate our Google Cloud environment with the platform as well, which helps simplify daily data management. I Particularly that clonning tables doesn’t duplicate storage, since it saves time and effort when I’m testing. Query performance has also been consistently reliable in my experience, even when I’m running large joins. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Snowflake?

Once things I’ve noticed is that if queries aren’t optimized, costz can spike fastest and without much warning. Also, the integration and implementation process isn’t straightforward, which can make getting everything set up more difficult than expected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
