Since most software comes with licensing, we use the Snow Commander console to optimize our consumption cost from its contextual & precise insights. In our hybrid cloud infrastructure, clarity on resource usage and expenses are obtained as periodic reports from its dashboard. This helps us regulate our budget allocations and forecast our cloud costs for the upcoming quarter. Snow Commander enables end-to-end automation with which we cut down our manual processing & efforts. Based on our policy governance, its Snow Engine process our expenditures across our multiple cloud accounts. **What do you dislike about Snow Commander?** We have recently received approval from our client and started to work on Snow Commander, so we are taking time to explore its functionalities. We discover up to 30 software that we don't have a license. You can have in only one tool inventory of ips, servers, and application catalog and more. You have the compliance calculation and provides you audit reporting as well. It´s very useful for your organization. Using cloud version you can have high aviability and you save installation. Snow helps improve the exchange control process. When the application or and user is no longer used, we can remove the application and save on licenses. **What do you dislike about Snow Commander?** Software Recognition Service is expensive. Snow Doesn´t recognize mobile devices. Support can take a long time to resolve an issue, which could be potentially impacting your business operations, We created a ticket and this was attended until 4 days after. It is not easy to use, you need a lot of learning which you can not do easily online, but there are a lot of documentation and tutorials. **Recommendations to others considering Snow Commander:** I highly recommend Snow because despite the high price, snow is a complete tool that helps to have a true CMDB in your organization. Additionally, the return on investment is incredible because software usage reports or licenses can help you better protect your budgets and save a lot of money. **What problems is Snow Commander solving and how is that benefiting you?** The main Benefit is you can have record all of our software licensing and also monitoring utilization. Before snow, we had a mess regarding to our licenses, we did not know whow had licenses and also how many lisences we had available. In addition to presenting great flexibility in the software, it gives me the power to direct license information. It facilitates excellent monitoring and alerting when the license and contract expires. It should be noted, i can inquire if a software has been used and verify for the utilization review. **What do you dislike about Snow Commander?** It would be ideal to improve the search generator, which presents data problems. Support can take a long time to resolve an issue, which could be potentially impacting your business operations. **Recommendations to others considering Snow Commander:** The product is great, but take into account that you may have long waiting times on support requests so may be worth going via a partner that has a lot of in-house experience rather than direct with Snow.
