All we had to do was get our students to enter email addresses and it does the work for you! **What do you dislike about Snap! Raise?** There is really nothing I honestly don't like about Snap Raise. Maybe having the fees they take could be lower? But I do think it's worth a fee for what they do! **What problems is Snap! Raise solving and how is that benefiting you?** Snap Raise takes the amount of time it takes to do a fundraiser off of me! I have done many fundraisers that take so much of my time only to generate a small amount of funds. They not only make the amount of time I'm spending less, but it is very successful! ### 4. Raise?** I didn't have anything to complain about while using Snap!Raise. The issues I had were some of my people not inputting information correctly. **What problems is Snap! Raise solving and how is that benefiting you?** Snap! Raise helped my cheerleading program have our most successful fundraising campaign ever! The ease of use and quick turnaround time benefitted our program greatly. It was by far the simplest and most productive fundraiser we've done. ### 5. Raise?** Snap!Raise was simple to set up and easy to explain to team members. The customer service was prompt and helpful. **What do you dislike about Snap! Raise?** The hardest part about this method of fundraising is convincing people to put the emails of their friends and family into the Snap!Raise system for fear that they are unleashing a torrent of unwanted junk mail. I was assured that once someone donated, they would not receive further emails. This was not true. Another issue: once emails are in the system, the user cannot delete them. Example: I put the email for my brother and sister-in-law into the system. My brother donated thru Social Share (on Facebook) and I didn't want them to receive further emails. I had no way to delete their emails so they would not be annoyed. Simply adding a delete button would solve this. **What problems is Snap! Raise solving and how is that benefiting you?** They are helping me to raise money to enhance the infrastructure of my club. We are dealing with deferred maintenance and build ing for the future. ### 6. Raise?** I have worked with the Snap! Raise company for 8 years now, and they never cease to amaze me. Their fundraising platform is incredibly easy to maneuver. They have built-in support that helps the overall success of the fundraiser from year to year. They are always looking for new and creative ways to help coaches and/or programs be as efficient as possible with everything from fundraising to communication platforms to gear. I would highly recommend Snap! Rasie to any colleague that is looking for an easy and effective way to fundraise. **What do you dislike about Snap! Raise?** To date, I have not really found anything I dislike about Snap! Raise. I know that the percent that they receive as payment is slightly higher than others but I feel like the work and opportunities they provide are more than worth it. **What problems is Snap! Raise solving and how is that benefiting you?** They are working to become a one-stop-shop for all things coaches needs to make fundraising easier and more efficient so that we can spend more of our time working on the field and less time in the office. ### 7. Raise?** I think it works well at getting funds for our school volleyball programs and requires low effort from myself and other school staff. We raise more from this platform than through most of our other endeavors with a fraction of the input work. **What do you dislike about Snap! Raise?** We still have a hard time getting as much participation as we'd like from students and their families. They cite the overhead charge, privacy issues of providing friends and family contact information, and they say that would rather just ask their supporters to just donate to our org directly. The incentive rewards for participation aren't enticing enough for them and we could use help figuring out how to presuade our members to participate. **What problems is Snap! Raise solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are able to raise large amounts of money when we need it. It also doesn't require as much effort as organizing an event, so it frees up my time to do more coaching and not get burnt out from administrative organizing. They also set up a contract with the school to reduce overhead charges slightly, which helps make the platform more palatable. ### 8. Super Easy-to-use. The communication and planning has been simple. Staff is friendly and helpful! The kids and parents are the benefits and it really takes very little of any of our time. **What problems is Snap! Raise?** We still have several in our community and within the sport that are offended with the idea of fundraising for a sports program. When we deal with the same family groups in a boys and girls sport like track and field it was hard for the athletes to secure their 20 individual emails and generate funds from those emails. By the time track season comes around our small community is tapped out in helping out the program. **What problems is Snap! A month, roughly, is a long time to raise money and/or run out of support from people especially if they donated already. **What problems is Snap! Raise replaces literally a dozen other fundraisers we would need to do to raise the same amount. Plus, you get the personal service of a dedicated area representative, and our rep., Derek Johnson, is just awesome! He is incredibly patient and responsive when dealing with my questions and concerns. There are other fundraisers of this sort out there. None of them get the same results as Snap! Raise?** It is a bit complex because it offers so many things in addition to the core product like merchandise, Fanatics products, grouping, a text message component, which can be ineffective if not handled properly, a confusing incentive promotion, etc. But, it's still very much worth it, and I will continue to adapt and incorporate more elements in future years. **What problems is Snap! Raise solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our organization is CONSTANTLY needing to raise money. Snap! Nowadays, most students are trained in the art of their cell phones, and this is an effective and comfortable way for them to reach out and get money for the program they are in. **What do you dislike about Snap! Raise?** The only hard thing about Snap! Raise is it is almost no different than just having them reach out to their grandparents, parents friends, etc and asking for money. What Snap! Raise does do is make it easy to approve through your school and they handle the money in a more professional way than you just getting donation money, however, for the amount they take it's kind of a lot considering all you are doing to fundraise is ask people for money. Raise?** Snap!Raise helped our team raise over $30k in funding for this season. It is the fastest and easiest way to fundraise for any extracurricular activity. I don't know any other fundraising site that can do this. The site is also not too "spammy" and sends only 1 email per week during the 4 week time period to potential donors. This weekly reminder is super helpful in gaining the maximum amount of donations. **What do you dislike about Snap! Raise?** The only thing I dislike about Snap!Raise is that the check and prizes take a bit longer than I would expect. I don't mind that the site takes out 20% of the total funds but the funds that are earned take 3-4 weeks to receive a check. I also wasn't aware that the incentive prizes are taken out in addition to the 20% as that wasn't disclosed at first-- I assumed it was a part of the 20% cut already. **What problems is Snap! Raise solving and how is that benefiting you?** After-school sports are the least funded activities in public education. My team is 95 students large and we need as much money as we can get in order to function.
