## Slite Reviews
 ### 1. Nice platform, with some annoying quirks that make it complex to recommend

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2021

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Cheap to start, easy to understand and work with, nice emoji support, continuously improving software.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Hard to copy/paste, not too much options for exporting/importing, formatting of code is just okay, no easy way to create things like FAQs or knowledge bases that are automatically updated, searchable and viewed by users of a specific team, etc.

**Recommendations to others considering Slite:**

Better go with Notion to not get locked, unless your use case is very simple or you are very price-oriented.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Knowledge sharing within the organization, and easy WYSIWYS collaborative editing of design documents, post-mortems etc.

**Official Response from Clément Rog:**

> Thanks for taking the time to leave a review! What are the kind of formats you'd like to import/export? For exporting docs, we support PDF and markdown. On the import side, markdown, text, Word, html, as well as direct connectors with Google Drive, Confluence, Quip, Evernote and Notion.

We use it as taking notes in projects and being able to share them internally

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Will P. | Owner, Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2021

**What do you like best about Slite?**

I love how clean and easy it is to use. Its doesn't get in my way when I want to just document and share something. But it still gives me plenty of features that I need them. Its such a great tool. Would definitely use again and again.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Some of the membership management didn't work as expected, but their support was fabulous and helped me through it.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Needed a single place to be our knowledge repository and to document our processes and resources. This served that need perfectly in my opinion.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Slite?**

External access to a modern look-and-feel knowledge database.

 ### 7. Simplicity, powerful and starting to be smart

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vincent M. | Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Simplicity, powerful and starting to be smart...

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Not the best tool to work on a planning/roadmad, even if I know the product vision of Slite.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sharing informations about our products evolutions in the same place for all topics.

 ### 8. Great tool for remote teams to share knowledge

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Slite?**

It's user friendly and clean, and the formatting options and ability to add tables, video, etc. are all great.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

When working collaboratively, comments are a little hard to see at a glance. It's also a bummer that there isn't an automatic time/date/author stamp when people make changes.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having one central place for knowledge, or "single source of truth". Benefits have been improving workflows, reducing clutter, and improving communication.

**Official Response from Clément Rog:**

> Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review! On comments, we totally get you and are about to push a massive update in the next days, including: no more long list with all comments, improvements on the positioning of comments, on larger screens side-to-text positioning, and other error fixes. You can subscribe to doc updates (I put the link below) to get notified with time/date/author and the changes highlighted in the text. Hope it helps, have a great day!

Document and make available all the necessary material of the company where I work so that the right people can access it.

**Official Response from Clément Rog:**

> Thanks Ezequiel for taking the time to leave a review! We're really glad to have you onboard.
On permission management, we've released few improvements lately. You can read about them under "Better control user permissions on specific docs" in the doc attached. Do not hesitate if you have any question and have a great day.

 ### 10. Notion is less buggy but they are basically the same

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Slite?**

/ commands and wiki pages. Also the templates and tagging

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Weird bugs. Not very "designed" and not really thinking about design teams and how they need to use this tool

**Recommendations to others considering Slite:**

More templates and hacks sent to community

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Documentation

**Official Response from Clément Rog:**

> Hey, thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. Could you please follow up on the weird bugs and you thoughts on design with us? We listen to user feedback, and improve. Have a great day

 ### 11. Excellent Wiki for SMBs & Miderprise

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

- Still building the ecosystem of integrations. Focused on getting Slack right now. More to come. More than adequate for use as a wiki though.

**Recommendations to others considering Slite:**

Dive in and use it for a few documents. You'll see why the UX is heads above more complicated tools.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Product Requirements
- Team Procedures
- Team Discussions (outside of email)
- Product Research
- Product Documentation

**Official Response from Clément Rog:**

Mentioning integrations, do you have any specific needs our Product team could look into?

Have a great day,
Clément

 ### 12. Clean, Easy, Well Designed and Powerful tool for product management.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Deepak C. | Product Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2021

**What do you like best about Slite?**

The best thing about slite is its clutter free, clean interface. That's the reason I started using it. Have been a power user of confluence since last 5 years, but it's always been a problem. It's just too much!

Slite on the other hand is lean and well designed. It has minimal navigation, has all the features that I need. It matches my needs and style very well.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

The tables are pretty basic as of now. Lacks some features like merging rows/column, adding a row/coulmn background color, etc.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clutter free, simple and clean interface with easy, minimal navigation is what I was looking for and Slite solved it.

**Official Response from Clément Rog:**

> Hey Deepak, thanks for taking the time to leave us a review! We're glad to have you onboard and are excited about showing what's coming next!

 ### 13. AS a CTO, I put Slite so that all the knowledge of the company is centralized and easily accessible

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2021

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Easy to use and fast. Including schema. The Table of Content

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Groups of users I have to create on google then on slite than on all other tools
No integration with clickup

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centralize all knowledge
KNowledge up to date
Ability to work remote
Better organized meeting and no need to do a sum up of a meeting as we are doing it while we do the meeting

**Official Response from Clément Rog:**

> Thanks for your review and the feedback, I've forwarded it to the Product Team.

We wish you a great week,
Clément & the Slite Crew

 ### 14. My use of Slite

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2021

**What do you like best about Slite?**

The ability to write notes, share them with selected users, complete them, have the history of editings, create user groups and give them precise access

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

The tool is a bit difficult to apprehend at the beginning, there's lots of infos and it can be hard at the beginning to know where to get the info. But maybe that's our organisation's fault ; )

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Massive info sharing

**Official Response from Clément Rog:**

> Thanks for leaving us a review!

We're working on building new resources for beginners, maybe that'll help other users like you!

We wish you a great week!

 ### 15. Slite for business and studies

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Annamaria H. S. | Freelance Translator and Editor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 24, 2020

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Slite seamlessly integrates with Asana, Trello, and Slack. It creates beautiful and logical notes with advanced formatting features. There is virtually everything you can do with Slite, I built a calendar, I keep my study notes neatly in one place with videos and PDFs embedded and I manage my small team for my business integrating Asana and Slack with it. I have tried many note taking tools and apps so far and Slite is still the winner for me. It has an elegant look, and it's not pushy like other apps. Also, their support team is excellent and very helpful. It took my life into another dimension since I started using it.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

There is not much I dislike about Slite and I am also pretty sure that smaller issues will be resolved and developed over time. Maybe a built-in reminder would be nice, however I guess that's why it works together with Asana and Trello. After all, this is a note taking app primarily and I like that they don't try to pack everything into it.

**Recommendations to others considering Slite:**

If you are looking for a note taking app that is pretty, elegant, you are currently using Slack, Asana, or Trello for team collaboration, Slite is a perfect addition.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using Slite for keeping all my study notes in one place including videos, PDFs, deadline reminders, and notes, of course. Also, I am using Slite to manage my small business and share essential notes with my teammates. It integrates with Slack and I use them together. I post a small notification to Slack, and I have the complete, long document stored in Slite.
I also create tasks right from Slite in Asana when my team needs to work together on a task. I can link various notes and ferences and links to the notes and to the task and it really feels I am only using one tool for everything while enjoying all the benefits and features of the mentioned tools separately as well.

 ### 16. Easy to use, updated regularly, reasonable pricing plan

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sally B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 21, 2020

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Slite is extremely easy to use, and the user interface is great to look at. It's a clean way to store any kind of documentation and has a variety of useful templates to start from. We are a video game company, so we use it for studio organisation, design documentation, meeting notes and more. It's the hub of our our documentation.

One of my favourite features is the way it copy and pastes information and formats it cleanly for you so you don't need to mess around too much to get things looking nice and tidy. I also like the way it handles external documents, the preview functionality is really useful.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Honestly, not much! They are constantly improving things. The only thing I'd like to see now is a gallery function where I can upload a large amount of images for people to browse through, or if there was a way to red-pen someone's work on Slite itself which is a useful tool when giving feedback.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're storing all our design documentation here, and any documentation e.g Google Sheets that need extra functionality can easily be previewed in Slite, making it easier to find. You can end up in a bit of a rabbit's warren with G-Drive but Slite allows you to link everything with a clear hierarchy of information. Overall I'm super happy with it :) They also seem really receptive to people's feedback which I appreciate a bunch.

 ### 17. Slite's Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2021

**What do you like best about Slite?**

It is easy to use and share documents between the squad.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

The images are not centralized with the text. They are kept aligned with the left margin.

It is not completely free, in contrast with Notion.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a centralized place to store knowledge. Every new resource and service that we implement, we explain how we implemented on slite

**Official Response from Clément Rog:**

> Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review, we are thrilled you're happy with us! I've forwarded your feedback on images with margin, it's something our Product Team can look into!

We wish you a great week!

 ### 18. Slite at storage24

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tobias G. | It-Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Slite?**

it is easy to use and very clearly structured

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

It would be necessary to have the opportunity to give permissions on subchannels as well

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use slite as a handbook and container for information and documentations

**Official Response from Clément Rog:**

> Hey Tobias, thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We've released improvements on user permissions, have you seen them? Please find the details in the doc attached under "Better control user permissions on specific docs".
I'm available if you have any question. Take care, Clément.

 ### 19. Team Notes Streamlined

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2021

**What do you like best about Slite?**

It is very easy to create, organize and share notes across your entire team. Basic but clean formatting styles.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

As you grow more and more notes the navigation gets a little overwhelming! But that shows just how much we use it.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping everyone on the same page. Being able to edit notes and documents as a team. Allows for amazing collaboration and efficiencies.
We use it a lot when onboarding new employees.

**Official Response from Clément Rog:**

> Hey, thanks for trusting us! We're glad to have you onboard

 ### 20. We love your product and our entire product documentation is hosted on Slite.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abhishek S. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2021

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Elegant UI
Reasonable Pricing
Quality Support
Good features

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

None ❤️.

It's a great platform, and hard to find faults.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Product documentation for internal teams.

**Official Response from Clément Rog:**

> Thanks Abhishek for the stellar feedback 🙌

Have a great week

 ### 21. Excellent collaboration and documentation tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yorick C. | Co-founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 21, 2020

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Slite is excellent at organising information and providing an answer to the question "what do I need to know". Collaboration on documents is very easy. We use it to follow-up on consulting projects and it works extremely well thanks to custom templates we made in a few minutes.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

I don't dislike anything. Adding task management would be nice.

**Recommendations to others considering Slite:**

For all tools of this kind, it's important to think about how you structure things. However, in Slite, it's easy to reorganise things if needed, so don't hesitate to try things. Don't hesitate to reach out to the outstanding support team for suggestions

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We organise our work as a consulting firm. It allows us to centralise knowledge about clients, cases, projects, and share deliverables with clients very easily. It is actually much more efficient at that than a CRM or project management tools usually are for us (and I come from project management). It's also a great knowledgeable for our tools and methodologies.

 ### 22. Slite is a product that has completely changed how I take notes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Animation | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 21, 2020

**What do you like best about Slite?**

It offers a lot of different ways to organize information like code snippets, tables, video links, and attachments

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

It's a great tool and I don't see any downside to using it

**Recommendations to others considering Slite:**

Slite is exactly what a user needs as a personal wiki. It makes it easy to keep notes organized, looking stylistically consistent, and with as much extra material (like videos, pdfs, and code snippets) that someone could want.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My notes are better organized and easily searchable and accessible now they they are put into channels instead of documents like they would be in other notetaking apps. I'm able to easily add screenshots, videos, and documents without having to do more than copy and paste or drag and drop to the screen. And best of all, they automatically are formatted nicely so I don't have to spend any extra effort or time creating styles or layouts.

 ### 23. Slite is easy to use!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Natalie P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2020

**What do you like best about Slite?**

I love how easy it is to organize my notes through Slite. I enjoy being able to insert tables and images easily without a lot of hassle. I also like all of the channels you an have in Slite. It makes it very easy to navigate what documentation you are looking for, without having to go to like a main page or something similar to find it. It is easy and convenient that everything is all on one page.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

I don't love that it doesn't integrate easily with the other tools we use, at least it doesn't as far as I know. Since there is not an Excel sort of capability there is no way it could ever replace Google, so it is sometime easier to just use Word docs instead of Slite since everything is in one place. I think if Slite extended their product line up then it would be more attractive to use exclusively instead of just using it for documentation.

**Recommendations to others considering Slite:**

If you are not a Gsuite user then using Slite is a great alternative! You essentially have the same functionality of being able to share notes and documents with other team members, as well as keeping notes and documents private.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping manage our documentation and processes all in one place

It is helping with company updates and product releases

It is nice that everyone has access to shared boards and private boards to use

We also use it to track customer feedback after a big release

 ### 24. Most User-Friendly Team Collaboration/Documentation Software On The Market

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex B. | Founder & CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 27, 2020

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Slite is easy to use, doesn't have too many features, and does the core fundamentals incredibly well. They clearly put design and UX first and it's appreciated.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

I wish it handled external collaboration a bit differently, versus inviting people to your workspace as collaborators (e.g. clients), instead having it show up in their "shared with me" area, similar to how Google Drive works. I'd also like for sub-channels/channel grouping.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Internal and external team documentation. We know where to look whenever we are trying to find something now.

 ### 25. The best note-taking tool in the market

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jatan S. | Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2021

**What do you like best about Slite?**

1. Speed 2. UI is very intuitive 3. Free-tier is pretty generous.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Lack of functionality around 1. Not being able to toggle/minimize a block 2. tags 3. link previews

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've always been taking notes but with Slite I like to go back to my notes and make use of them. Before Slite, notes were non-consequential, took them but never went back to it.

 ### 26. Best productivity Software of 2020 and beyond

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shazzad S. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2020

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Slite is by far the best productivity software I’ve used till to date. The UI is on point. I highly recommend this software to anyone who is looking for a best productivity software. Hats off to everyone who worked hard to build this. This software is too good. Thanks Chris for coming up with such an awesome idea.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

The software is too good that from my point of view , there’s no downside of this software.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use this software for my day to day work.

 ### 27. Slite - great and lite service!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kirill G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2020

**What do you like best about Slite?**

We've been looking for a wiki-like cloud service for documentation (knowledge base, onboarding docs, some private business docs) for our gaming startup. Well known products in this area seemed too complex for us, and our needs were focus on the lite work with documents online, good accessability and user-friendly UI and functionality.

Slite is the best choice for us and our needs! I really appreciate to the Slite's team for their great job and product, they have created and continue to improve!

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Nothing special, I believe, everything is in the product roadmap. Most of all I'm waiting for the pics in spreadsheets.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All documents are structured and easy to access. Permissions are easy to set.

 ### 28. Perfect Solution for our Operations Manual

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shannon K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2020

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Ease of use, intuitive editing and organizing of information, visually appealing!

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Not much that I have found to dislike. It would be nice to be able to easily cross-reference to sections on documents instead of just documents (using the @ function).

**Recommendations to others considering Slite:**

Do a trial run and play with their editing tools. There is so much you can do to create really engaging content.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have created an operations manual and knowledge base for our front desk staff. Now they can just go to Slite, search for a topic or issue and learn everything they need to know! We also plan to use it to build out a training curriculum for new hires.

 ### 29. Slite Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Todd D. | Senior Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2020

 ### 30. Slite, internal document/knowledge/process management system

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aleksandar L. | Head of Customer Success, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2019

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Ease of use. Transparency. Team Slite's flexibility and agility.
Slite helps me dealing with multiple projects organization - from process documentation, new people onboarding (and offboarding as well), collaborative writing, etc.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

I really can't put my finger on anything I dislike.

**Recommendations to others considering Slite:**

Give it a test-run, check the impressive template base and enjoy!

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping the information flow while the team is growing, speed up collaborative writing, manage internal KB. Meeting notes is also one of things we do using Slite.
Slite helped us creating a sort of a company wiki, where all team members can easily find any company and work information required.

 ### 31. Simple and awesome tool. Highly recommend

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2020

**What do you like best about Slite?**

They have enough free pages for small business to start their work. And even with the free plan your pages are PRIVATE (unless you share them with the world). They offer amazing plans for any kind of enterprise. They have awesome support and communicate instantly. They are literally rockstars!

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

The interface of the website is very basic and there is not that much room for formatting your text/editing pics/changing the size of the pre-view. If they add more to that, that would make them a 10 in my heart

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am creating a basic knowledge base for my support team and I have all tools I need with Slite to do that

 ### 32. Easy to use tool for collaborating

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Easy to use tool that helps with organizing all the notes and product user stories. My favorite feature is the ability to use templates so similar documents have the same format and data consistency. It lets you organize in folders and search for documents so that nothing is ever lost.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Would like it if the folder structure was more extensible.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Product user stories and customer discovery notes. Jira tickets just reference a slite doc.

**Official Response from Clément Rog:**

> Thanks a lot for trusting us. We've made some changes on the folder structure (cards, smart tables, directory) and are about to release new things soon to better organize your documents!

 ### 33. easy to use collaborative knowledge base

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nantia K. | UX Researcher, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2020

**What do you like best about Slite?**

being a collaborative tool, having multiple workspaces that can visit back and forth, having the ability to enter multiple kinds of data (text, tables, images, etc), easy text formatting

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

not very easy to use way to move between workspaces, not so customizable tables

**Recommendations to others considering Slite:**

Just try it ;)

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it as a common knowledge base with my team and as a personal note keeper. It is highly helpful that I get informed when another member of the team is doing a change.

 ### 34. Just a great tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marijn V. | Engineering Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 21, 2020

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Well organised notes, search is good and looks super nice

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

missing some features but prefer that over having too many features

**Recommendations to others considering Slite:**

don't need the complexity of jira, confluence or just want a less-feature-rich but nicer looking version of notion, with a mobile app that works fine etc? Slite is worth your consideration!

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

easily retrieve information
keep track of warranties, manuals in our household
jot down small notes
document recurring events and keep it all in one place

 ### 35. The perfect balance of functionality and usability for Knowledge DB

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordi B. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2020

**What do you like best about Slite?**

The authoring of great-looking content, by making it so effortless, invites the team to participate in documenting the very complex processes around our business.
I love the modern take on feedback and requests that surely will impact them and us positively down the line as I believe they are creating a community rather than just users.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Nothing, we truly don't dislike anything at all. It is surely improving and there are many things that could be even better but clearly they have a superb product.

**Recommendations to others considering Slite:**

Just go for it, it is awesome.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Knowledge Database, Onboarding & Marketing/Sales.

 ### 36. Workspace for all company documentation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eldar G. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2020

**What do you like best about Slite?**

It is amazing to have one workspace where we have all documentation from employee onboarding to guides and even technical documentation. I love how it structures documentations (pages and sub-pages) and searches any information from all docs in the workspace.
Moreover, I really like its ability to embed images, youtube, and loom videos.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

It still needs improvements in text editing. Especially, Ctrl+Z always does not work as expected.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We store all company documentation in one place. Easy to browse and search the needed information. Also, let's to share some guides to guests.

 ### 37. Easy-to-use knowledge base platform for our team!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex P. | Senior PPC Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 24, 2020

**What do you like best about Slite?**

I especially like how easy it is to create different documents for our multiple projects. Easy-to-modify and drag-n-drop functionality is what I like the most!

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Haven't found any disadvantages yet of Slite platform.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In Slite we keep our internal project documentation and we also use it for different kinds of notes/knowledge bases.

 ### 38. Makes Collaboration easy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sagar M. | Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2020

**What do you like best about Slite?**

It's somewhat like Google Docs but with a far better user experience - with all your documents properly arranged and easily accessible. Adding team members and collaborating with them for preparing a document gets easy with Slite

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Is there any way I can assign a task to a team member in a particular document? Can be useful

**Recommendations to others considering Slite:**

Recommended

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collaborating with team members for proper documentation

 ### 39. A very fast and intuitive documentation solution

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

The mobile Android app still has some issues.

We are using Slite as a company wiki and also as a documentation of meeting minutes.

 ### 40. Our company lore stays in Slite

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2020

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Simplicity, team access and collaboration tools.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

**Recommendations to others considering Slite:**

It is an amazing product with a great team behind it!

Slite is used as our company-wide knowledge base and Wiki.

 ### 41. Slite for Students 🖤

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2020

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Collaboration and knowledge center of async teams.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Nothing in particular. Might be the free plan which could be limited.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm displaying all team documents that are relevant for each member, that allows me to keep updated of what is going on and still on track. It saves me a lot of time especially.

 ### 42. love slite

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2021

**What do you like best about Slite?**

It's a great collaboration tool that's really helped us manage our project, share ideas and keep everything on track

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

nothing, it's been a great experience and we'll keep using it

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ideas to keep our project on track and streamlined

 ### 43. Communication is key to scale a business. Slite is the best to keep everything in writting!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2020

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Easy to use for everyone. Templates to adopt the best practices. Summary to stay up to date on all topics.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Limited number of integration. No public API.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Share knowledge between teams. People used to keep the information in their heads or in Google Docs => hard to access and high risk on employee turnover. Now, everything is organised, easily updated, and share between everyone.

 ### 44. Slite - Documenting processes across different functional areas

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** charles d. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2020

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Slite is focused on an editor / reader for documentation. The hierarchy makes it easy to write, and easy to navigate.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Tabular data is not a great fit as things stand, although this is being iterated on. It can also be hard to review image-heavy documentation, although better than in most other solutions I've tried.

**Recommendations to others considering Slite:**

It's easy to try out, and the proof is in the pudding when it comes to how easy it is for people to use.
For roll out to be effective, you need the team on-board with there being a problem that needs solving, so starting with that problem statement from a retro or otherwise.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slite allows our team to take notes, and write up thoughts in a way that encourages them to think about how that information is received. For us, it's an optimal balance between easy to write, and easy to read, where Google docs is much more of the former, and powerpoint / slides is much more of the latter.

 ### 45. New Employee On-boarding made fun

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul d. | Business development , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2019

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Slite has given me a workspace for topics that I have not been putting as much effort into as hardcore selling like employee onboarding with templates that I can copy and adapt it also does this same magic for other topics like customer success

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

as much as I like it I have battled to get my staff to use and add to it that said in last year they were moved onto Trello, Slack, Hubspot CRM and new automated dialling system and full Gsuite of apps so I think maybe as I scale up it will become a game-changer in my business

**Recommendations to others considering Slite:**

If you wondering if you need it I def think all companies do there are other ways to do this but few as simple to implement

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is an online wiki for everyone to refer to on company policies, comm manuals, or sales playbook, marketing guidelines ect.

 ### 46. When an elder dies, a library burns to the ground

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John P. | Technical Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2020

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Documenting your tribal knowledge quickly and easily so you have access to it forever

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Should allow more free pages, 50 a month goes too quickly

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having a single source of truth for all my technical documentation and research

 ### 47. A perfect and different product in many ways.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2020

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Let me start by saying that I'm not a review/comment person and this is one of my very few reviews of my life. This application is amazing.
I loved the simplicity and design. I am a developer myself I and was looking for a very long time for the perfect notes/wiki application.
The multiple nested layering let me group and manage my entire collections of notes and the code snippets are just amazing.
Also, the templates are a great deal if you want to get quickly up & running with a topic.
Unfortunately I do no use the team features with channels and collaboration features but I assume they are aweome. I will not hesitate to use them if I get the change.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

I know the application is targeted for teams, having channels with notifications, collaboration features and all that but I just use it for myself.
I think it should support a single user version. I've been using most of the big-name applications out there such as Evernote, OneNote, Bear, Apple Notes, Google Keep and I can say that for a developer this is the perfect tool. It has everything I need for my day-to-day work.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I get to keep my entire collection of notes such as books and courses summaries, code snippets, wikis, personal notes and blog drafts.

 ### 48. Great product / UX

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Not much, but I'd like to see my peer's cursors

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it as a company wiki. We moved over from google docs. Helps keep things in one place

 ### 49. Useful across departments

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Liz W. | Client Support Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2020

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Slite is a great resource for storing knowledge and also for task management. Our agency uses slite for both. The best part is being able to keep everyone on the same page even in separate departments. Some tasks start in sales, go to us (support), and also have items needed from dev team and design. It is seamless less and we are all on the same page.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Only con is lack of options when editing documents.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using slight to build internal knowledge base for new hire training. Also to begin our client support knowledge base that will be for our client users once completed.

 ### 50. Slite is wonderful for teams to collaborate and share information.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 21, 2020

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Ease of use and simple to implement. SSO ready

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

We still need people to populate but it's something that cannot be avoided.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of aligning with teams
