## Slite Reviews
  ### 1. Slite is super amazing, very easy to use and love the overall experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mueed R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Just how easy it is to learn and start using it, the learning curve was pretty low and fun

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

keyboard shortcuts were a little hard to learn but I am accustomed now, however they can still be improved more.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slite helps you maintain a knowledge base and take notes, It is helping our company to collaborate lot easier, no offline docs needed, everything is on Slite

  ### 2. Ease and speed for wikis and everything else.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rafael M. | Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2022

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Instant edit mode and all the smart tools.
Go and type instead of waiting for loading pages or finding notes among an endless tree of content.
Right there, type and sort and add and arrange and...
think of confluence on a speed. But lighter and uncomplicated.
If we had slite before adopting confluence...
Just awesome

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Not allowing to rearrange outlines with child items. Each line is a line. Apart from that, well, there's nothing else to complain about.
Maybe a couple of integrations like Google calendar and a better PadOs app.
Maybe columns or blocks to allow to split notes vertically (like confluence or notion)
But honestly it's impossible to dislike slite.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick note taking
Quick notes organising and reviewing
Work planning
Project planning
It's soooo plastic.
And it even has sketches!
I've been searching for an app that allows to take notes in multiple different styles and structures without the cumbersome experience of entering edit mode - the waiting it's so annoying, then publish then re-enter edit for another change...
Slite is a wiki in a breeze

  ### 3. We love Slite!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

It's a very simple and intuitive tool to use

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Inability to download a doc with sketches

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slite solves the need to pass on the same information multiple times to different people. It streamlines our employee onboarding and drives proactivity because it enables self-help/self-learning. Also, it helps with the so-called "forgetting curve" in some less frequently repeated tasks because we can all go back to the SOP and be reminded of the certain steps we need to take.

  ### 4. Slite is a tool for remote team work.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ruslan B. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2022

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Online collaborative editing of the docs. We appreciate minimalistic design and text editing tools. A hierarchical structure of the docs is one of the best things. And all these things for free, and for our small startup, it's a crucial option. I've never tried competitors but I heard about Notion, and it's paid (not sure).

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

There were some lags during collaborative editing, I'm not sure it's appropriate for the current version.

Last use case with Slite's table: we were doing a financial table with our spending and to calculate the total we calculated it with a smartphone but it'll be good if you have some sort of SUM like in EXCEL, Google Sheets. Why don't we use Google Sheets instead? Because this integration on the Slite looks inconvenient.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Online collaborative editing of the docs and notes. It's a convenient way to work with the team. Yes, It's a more productive way for a remote team to make some stuff.

  ### 5. Nice Experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nihad A. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Ease of use. It is easy to automatize the processes in Slite

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Their AI feature does not work as propesed. It is impossible to get any help out its "smart" AI.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Documentation

  ### 6. Cozy UI, Smooth, Very Fast & Definitive

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Serhii P. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2022

**What do you like best about Slite?**

I am using Slite for accumulating our team knowledge base. We cope with it great! Our team has been using Slite for less than 1 month & we feel how comfortable it is :)

Clear & so cozy UI makes it count - I have never been lost in menus, documents, etc. I can reach any elements without any interruption.

Speed of opening & saving documents is really great - this is what specifically Confluence cannot deliver.

It's great & our team's work flow is smooth when we collect & document our knowledge in Slite.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

It would be great to get a paid subscription for $4 per user monthly with the following:
- max 5 users
- unlim documents

Currently Slite has a Standard subscription starting at $6.67, which has both unlim users & docs included.

What if I don't need unlim users & need just unlim doc? Slite does not have such option, but I would like to see it in the future.

Besides, the entire Google Workspace(Team Docs, Drive, Meet, Calendar, etc.) is $6 per user monthly, which is a direct competitor to Slite's $6.67 Standard subscription which has to provide only Documenting. This does not mean that Slite needs entire workspace tools, it is just about the monthly price - if you make your Standard subscription available at ~$4 that would be great as well!

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slite is the one who perfectly combines great UI experience during documenting & the documenting feature as well!

  ### 7. Great evolution in the intranet world

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marco S. | Président-Fondateur, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Simplicity, speed, and ease to make pages beautiful

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Not much so far. Improvement could be to export the diagram in the pdf. Also, it would be great to edit the draw.io, not create a copy.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Business documentation, internal process, meetings minute.

  ### 8. Indispensable documentation platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jesse W. | Sr. UX Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Slite has made it incredibly easy for all of our teams to document everything in our company, from employee handbook items to project details to detailed design processes. Nested documents, embeds from our favorite services (especially Airtable and Spreadsheet.com) and a super handy table of contents features make it dead simple to create easy-to-follow documentation in one place as our source of truth.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

I wish there was a bit better ability to control the width of galleries, as its either set to the standard column or full width. Sometimes that is too much or too little. Nitpicky, but I do wish there were a few more formatting and customization options, such as being able to color/format headers and icons for the sidebar.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives our teams a single source-of-truth for nearly every aspect of our business. Our mantra is now "have you checked Slite?" because everything worth saying about a project, client or process goes in there. It's incredibly easy to search and find info, and besides Google Drive is our most important company-wide platform.

  ### 9. My experience with Slite is very good for me and my team.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Facture A. | Administrative and bookepper assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Slite?**

I like that we can share some files for the team. We can consult these everytime. We can share some documents, videos and the various procedures for the applications we use within our company. And we can modify documents directly.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

We don't have anything against Slite. The team and I are pleased with Slite. We don't want to use another platform for our work. We hope that Slite rests with us !

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slite benefits the team and me because we can see every process on Slite's platform. We can share everything about our work. I am pleased about the search button because it is easy to use, and we can try everything !

  ### 10. Loving Slite for studio's our internal Wiki

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris S. | Studio Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Our studio makes games, and we've been using Slite as a Wiki to manage all our ideas, mechanics, lore, characters, plot, etc. Easy to use for all team members and great for collaboration and iteration. Also a fantastic tool for keeping track of design changes over a long project. It's been lovely!

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

It's hard to find much to hate on with Slite, the way we use it... I can only think of a few nitpicks:

- Loading times on the mobile app are a little slow
- Would be nice if you could pick an icon for Channels the same way you can for Docs
- For the feature that lets you show small link cards to a doc's subdocs, it'd be nice if you could format those a bit
- There are occasionally some UX weirdnesses with adding a card, link, etc., that take some mouse clicking around to get back to the place you want your cursor to be

Honestly, I'm even reaching for those! For our needs and team size (3), it works great.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed an easy-to-use, flexible, and well-organized Wiki to keep track of our designs, stories, and more. We are also a very small studio, so affordability was a big concern.

  ### 11. A cleaner, simpler, more thoughtful team workspace

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bec H. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

It makes building and sharing work with my teammates feel thoughtful, organized and intentional.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Not much so far. There are a few technical optimizations I'd like, like being able to link multiple docs in a single column, but nothing major.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problems: our documents were previously managed in Notion; we found that generally disorganized, hard to find things, and hard to see what the latest/greatest was.

How Slite is benefiting us: organization just feels cleaner ("just works"); app feels faster; and lots of product touches have made it easy to see what's up-to-date vs WIP. Just way more delightful. We're happy users.

  ### 12. A simple and effective documentation & collaboration tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Munawar K. | Digital Business Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

It's easy to simple to use with tons of integration options.
Just open a document and start writing. You can easily collaborate your writing, review the changes and

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

A little help with making tables or customising image size would have made it more friendly.
Sharing the document in pdf or jpg would be a good addition to existing options

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using it for content collaboration specially for web projects. I have found it easy to use Slite for creating a complete content system for new website development

  ### 13. A useful and user-friendly tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lombe T. | Grants Program Officer / Engagement Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2022

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Slite has been particularly helpful for me because it is so easy to navigate and all the information that I need is properly categorised. I also like I have so many different characters and emojis to use, which makes my overall experience with it very enjoyable. Slite was my go-to, especially when I just joined the organisation because a simple search would show me exactly what I needed, and where I could find specific information.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

I do not have any problems with Slite yet, and I have been using it consistently for a few weeks.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slite is solving the problem of having a centralised knowledge bank for a remote team. It also solves the problem of clutter by the way that it is structured. It helped to make the onboarding process so much easier to handle. Everything is in one place and this helps me to be more efficient and effective in my role.

  ### 14. Slite is the best platform to create and host documents.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mathieu D. | Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Slite is very user friendly. All my coworkers were set up and comfortable using Slite within days. Talking about / using Microsoft Word is now forbidden on the workfloor ;)

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

I want the option to mass-select files/documents I want to delete. As it is now arranged, you can only delete documents individually. This is quite a task if you 100+ documents you wish to clear.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As an IT organization we have a lot of documents that are relevant for understanding software, hardware and licenses. This means that documentation changes regularly. It is therefore extremely important to us that we have an accessible environment that is easy to keep updated. In this way we prevent colleagues from handling different documents.

  ### 15. Nice to get organized

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Organize documents and collaborate (participate, comment).

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

The search engine is really not working well. It is difficult to find a document based on keywords.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keep trace of all discussions

**Official Response from Anouk van Tuinen:**

> Thanks so much for sharing your feedback! Our team is currently working on making it easier to find the content or docs you are looking for. Keep an eye out for this in the coming weeks and let us know how it goes :)

  ### 16. Note-Taking for busy people

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cathy D. | Director: Coaching and Leadership Facilitation, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

It has a clean interface, and allows you to store alot of information.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

That it takes time to learn all of the functionality and I needed some assistance with the set up.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keep accurate records of meeting and all information relevant to project

  ### 17. Be productive from the start

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rob G. | Developer, senior project manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Slite?**

The editing and linking of documents is so straightforward I was wondering if I was missing something. I can use markdown if I choose, or use the keyboard shortcuts for various formatting and editing tools. All this allows me to create project documentation with near-zero learning curve.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

To be perfectly honest, I have yet to find anything to dislike. Perfectly honest

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slite provides a central location for project documentation, without the formatting quirks of some tools (Evernote comes to mind), and certainly with a smoothly operating interface.

  ### 18. Great tool for managing a large team's processes, knowledge, policies and so much more!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Balint P. | Head of Customer Success, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Straightforward UI, the ease of use is definitely there. I love the dark mode too, and the way we can store tables, recordings, links, almost everything that has to do with our daily lives, department structures, etc.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

If you make a section/space too complex with a lot of main and sub pages, you tend to get lost and the search function is not always perfect.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

a lot of our data, policies and processes were stored in random places, this is no longer the case!

  ### 19. Amazing support and features, looking forward to grow and mature more

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oussama B. | CTO and Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2022

**What do you like best about Slite?**

- The platform enables asynchronous work while encouraging actions and decisions.
- Integrates with Slack for synchronous communication.
- The discussion feature is amazing.
- The support team is very friendly and responsive.
- Amazing support for students and nonprofit organizations.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

- The child documents cannot be a top-level parent anymore. This, moving a top-level document inside another is irreversible.
- Cannot create an Asana task from the document on-the-spot.
- Some templates are archived (e.g. https://slite.com/templates/weekly-update).

**Recommendations to others considering Slite:**

It's a very promising tool, highly recommended!

I hope they provide a self-hosted/community edition and/or a plugins ecosystem to enable more extensibility and control over data.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's enabling me to collaborate with my 3-member team (each in a separate city) on a very early-stage, bootstrapped startup.
Our main need is to establish a digital headquarter to both manage the startup and stay on the same page.
- Discuss and document decisions. The discussions feature is perfect for this.
- Document our collective knowledge to create a solid company culture (onboarding, vision, values...). I believe that Slite's documents are powerful enough.
- Operations (interviews, clients, projects...). The database/collection is good, but integration with AirTable (or Notion's DBs) or inspiration from its powerful filtering and API would be very useful
- Assign tasks, set common goals, and hold each other. We would probably use Asana for this, but more seamless integration with it would help us to do more from Slite.
- Track the overall performance to see if we're on the right track. I like the Team Insights, having more options or extensibility would give us more visibility on how well we're doing.

  ### 20. Look very similar to notion but with a better productivity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marc-Antoine S. | Data project director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 30, 2022

**What do you like best about Slite?**

- Collections (like a table in each one, a raw is also a page with structured and unstructured informations, images,..)
- Productivity: no errors when typing text (Issue I often had in notion).
- synchronisation is fast on all devices (smartphone, pc)
- Very good comment/conversation tools (Can like a part of the text, discuss about a part of the text, have a page dedicated to conversations).

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

- Some minor bugs. When I invite a user to collaborate with me, he has to create an account before.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slite allows me to create my content factory, to create my own CRM, to share information with people, even if they are not connected.

  ### 21. Best cloud tool for creating beautifully formatted Docs / PDFs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Philipp S. | Frontend-Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2022

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Slite is my go-to place for creating documentation, protocols, or explanation Docs and PDFs.
My favorite features are the well-formatted default elements that cover all of my needs (e.g., different headlines, tables, code snippets, images,...)

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

I don't miss a single thing up to this point!

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickly creating documentation files to explain my customers/coworkers/things in a consistently designed way.
This helps a lot compared to other text formatting programs that are overloaded with things i don't need.

  ### 22. Task manager for the every day worker

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2022

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Slite is intuitive, easy on the eyes, and an exceptionally easy way to share work tasks across teams and co-workers to whatever level you need. It's no exaggeration when I say my work life would be 110% more chaos without Slite.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

There are a few design choices for how groups are clumped together that I think could be streamlined to be a little easier to read through and also take up less space. But minor cosmetic stuff isn't a deal-breaker by any means!

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slite helps me organize my daily to-dos with monthly to-dos and on-the-spot projects that all need to not get lost in my mailbox.

  ### 23. Slite has made my team SO much more efficient

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lindsay K. | Marketing Strategy, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2022

**What do you like best about Slite?**

I am able to capture answers to frequently asked questions in an easily-navigable interface. This prevents me from having to go back and ask teammates the same questions over and over again or spend forever searching email and Slack trying to find the answer from the last time.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

The only thing so far is just not being able to freeze the first row/column of smart tables. It would make it easier for tables that are wider or longer than the screen size.

**Recommendations to others considering Slite:**

Get your team to start using it. It was a bit of a hard sell to our team (as most new things are) but once they realized how much efficiency it created, they go on board really quickly.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It prevents our team from having to ask the same questions over and over again. When someone asks a question over chat that feels like it will be asked again in the future, we've started saying "This feels Slite-y - let's add it to [section name]."

  ### 24. Simplification of communication and internal processes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2022

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Slite has given our asynchronous team the ability to communicate efficiently without losing content and tasks in the dark holes we previously used. We were doing most of our work in Slack but threads would be lost, even after changing notifications/settings. Slite has given us a platform to communicate on, dump ideas, documents, content, etc. with clear and effective notifications that don't require you to spend hours re-working.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

I use Slite mobile app a lot and I feel there are components of the desktop version or web browser version that could be implemented in the mobile version to really elevate the user experience. I have shared this previously in the other survey, but being able to attach images/screenshots to a discussion on the mobile app would really be helpful.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slite is giving our team the ability to continue asynchronous work with tracking projects and deadlines efficiently. We tried ClickUp - too complicated. We used Notion for a bit and it was great, but required a ton of set up on the front end. Slite is the happy medium we have been looking for.

  ### 25. A clean, note-form app - best for working in teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Sports | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2022

**What do you like best about Slite?**

You have a great way of compartementalizing things - it feels very organized. I've always been a fan of Notion and since joining Relive, I've switched over to Slite and it's as good. I love that you can send someone the link to a specific part of the page - that's my favourite feature.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

I would like there to be more options to organize a page that has sub docs in it - you can only put them at the top but it would be nice to be able to put them anywhere on the page rather than just at the top.
Be able to see the page on a wider length rather than just having the text with large margins (I hope I explained that well)

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The google docs being all over the place problem. As a startup, you use google docs often and alot. The benefit is that you can export those to .docx but if you don't need the option, and all you need is to share your thoughts with your colleagues, Slites does it very well. Everything stays in one place.

  ### 26. Slite is a fast and well designed notes app

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael M. | Lead Developer / Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 28, 2022

**What do you like best about Slite?**

The UX/UI of the app, the different blocks available and the practicity of the folders for notes.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Some long notes, with lots of smart tables and data can be quite slow.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Documentation clarity & availability, notes management & team work for shared datas & files that is beautiful and fast.

  ### 27. Review for Slite

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Madhav M. | CSM Intern, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Slite?**

It helps me to get all the information about the various tools that the company is using and get the insights into all the new activities in different departments.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

It is difficult to find out about a particular tool just by adding its name to the description box. For ex: If I am looking to find what is Looker all about as a new employee, then it does not give me the same result so this should be added as well.

**Recommendations to others considering Slite:**

Learn the basics first and read all the material by heart.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slite is helping me in getting details about the new happenings in my department and connects me to the Paris office as I can find what are the developments taking place in my department around the world.

  ### 28. Simple software, allowing sync across different operating systems and devices

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2022

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Slite is simple to use, and easy to sync across different operating systems and devices. If you do not look for a too fancy app and just want to have your notes sync across different OS and devices (in the vein Apple's notes), I can really recommend Slite

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Sometimes Slite is a bit slow to load or you have to re-open the app. Other than that, I am super happy

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simple sync of notes across OS/devices. This helps with a lot with respect to organizing myself during the week, thus making me more productive

  ### 29. The best online tool to store and share your thoughts.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sunil D. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 26, 2022

**What do you like best about Slite?**

1) Great UI
2) The team actualy understands what it takes to build remote collaboration tool. - The founding team works remotely too.
3) I have used other platform such as Dropbox paper, Notion, Confluence,Evernote, MS Word. I have found it the best to tool to store my ideas and share with team members.
4) Ability to share documents with anyone (Even with people not in your organization) with just a click.
5) Ability to export your documents in PDF format.
6) Good templates to start with.
7) Available accross content across mutiple platforms such as Mac/andriod/Windows/Browser.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

1) It's fast in comparision to it's competitors, however it's still not fast like notepad for taking quick notes.
2) I would recommend it's developer to provide users with option of "Delayed sync" & "Cache" for users who uses the product more for documenting their own work and ideas, rather doing realtime document editing.
Features like above will fasten up the boot time in Windows app .

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1) I use slite to write down my day to day learnings.
2) I use slite to collaborate with friends and team members for idea and documenting the direction of project.
3) I use slite to update the company policies.

  ### 30. Create well organised, informative documents that can be easily accessed thanks to its beautiful UI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** kevin o. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2022

**What do you like best about Slite?**

I am most impressed by the simplicity of the UI and find it easy to navigate and find documents that have been created and well structured by the editor. Also, the search functionality is quick and intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

I haven't yet found anything of note. Possibly a feature that may be useful (and may already exist?) would be the ability to have an auto-archive prompt for documents that have not been updated within a certain period of time. This would help admins declutter workspaces and remove irrelevant outdated documents and in turn maintain a clean environment.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slite helps our organisation maintain a wide variety of documents relating to many different domains that can be structured in an intuitive hierarchy allowing for quick and easy access to important information. If the documents have not been structured properly then I find the search functionality quick and simple to use and always returns any expected documents relating to my search query.

  ### 31. Pretty good experience! Slite does exactly what we need it to.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Slite?**

We sought an app that we could create internal documentation and a company wiki, Slite works perfectly for this. We love the search feature and a lot of the different structural elements like hints, headers, images, bullet lists, internal linking, and more.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

We really really wish Slite had better multitasking tools like windows and tabs management. This is available through browser windows, but would make a wonderful addition to the desktop app. It would also be nice to color the font. We use color often as a key for understanding different information. We get by using emojis and images, but color choice for font would be outstanding.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Internal Documentation and a Company Wiki or Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This helps us train new employees, be united in our goals, and create uniformity and standards in our branding.

  ### 32. Slite is a convenient source of information relevant to my work needs.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2022

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Slite makes it easy to retrieve information relevant to my work. use of search option
Information is organized in a way that makes accessible any changes made in my workspace; this ensures no new updates go unnoticed.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Slite is an efficient application. i do not have any dislikes id like to present at the moment

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slite saves me time. By having all the relevant information in my workspace in one application that is easy to use and access.

  ### 33. Intuitive to work with/manage/edit

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sandra P. | Office Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2022

**What do you like best about Slite?**

I really like the fact we can comment in the documents and mark those issues as resolved. It was perfect for setting up our wiki because we could just work with it individually and whenever the others had time, they could check it out. Great for remote teams like ours!

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

I did not like that, when you use the highlight function, it makes reading a bit disruptive. I really like the colours but I do not feel like we can use it in a document to highlight Do's and Dont's, for example.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We changed to Slite because our previous Wiki was very uncomfortable to work with and Slite doesn't open new tabs to work on a document and is much more intuitive to work with.

  ### 34. Minimal, stylish and does the job

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alaa S. | Chief Technology Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Comprehensive yet minimal set of features.

Somehow Slite managed to find which are the most relevant features to document knowledge collaboratively in an organisation, and deliver them in an intuitive, economical and stylish design.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

I find it hard to fine something I dislike in Slite. But, I'd definitely like it if the mobile app would become more stable and more minimal (for mobile use-cases)

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slite help me quickly collaborate in a meeting to document the outcomes, sketch a visualization and even tag/assign an action item to people.

It also helps me when I work alone when I have to structure and document topics as it gets out of my way and helps me focus exactly on my thoughts with it's very minimal and smooth design.

  ### 35. Powerful consistency

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael W. | Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Slite?**

I really like the way I can create and store templates that are used interally. LIkewise, the library of templates already in Slite, give a great starting point for a new document or document idea.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

It's a really minor one to be honest, and I'd like to think the need disappears with more takeup internally, however I'd like an ability to integrate with our own servers. This can obviously be done by creating shortcuts using links to the various documents, but would be great to have that as a more automated process.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easier visibility of our project documentation and a clearer view on what has changed since you last accessed the document. It's solving document consistency too, with all types of document following the same format every time.

  ### 36. Using Slite for everyday documentation and note-taking

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ayesha T. | UX Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2022

**What do you like best about Slite?**

With Slite, everything is accessible and easy to use. Whether I need to jot down brain thoughts or create a formal pager for my project, everything is very easy to use and highly intuitive. What I like the best is its simplicity and clean design.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Sometimes I need to add images in tables and it doesn't give me the option to do so. Plus when you're adding images and you want to add a text line above it, it's a real struggle making that happen. You need to copy and paste text and perform all sorts of tricks to make that happen.

**Recommendations to others considering Slite:**

Slite has a very clean design making it easier for anyone to easily use it. It's excellent for documentation of your company projects, guidelines, or policies. It's a one-place-for-everything kinda tool.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In our company, we document everything on the go. Whether it's something as small as an idea pitch or an elaborative document featuring requirements for a project. Plus, it's accessible to everyone. You don't need to share credentials or share files, just let the other person know where everything is located.

  ### 37. Certainly the best collaborative space with the best customer service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohand M. | Marketing Tech manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Slite?**

I became a fan of Slite's smartphone app as well as the computer version in just a week , even though I knew nothing about it at first.

I became a fan of Slite's smartphone application as well as the computer version in only a week, even though I knew nothing about it at first

Really easy to use, practical and very well organized !

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Nothing, the software has help to change team communication. At the slightest question or the slightest technical problem, the customer service will take care of you and process your request quickly and efficiently

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slite allows me to organize my thoughts into notes while being able to communicate with my team and track their progress. I am notified when my colleagues create new content and they are informed of my progress.

  ### 38. Very fast internal wiki app

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thibaut C. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2020

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Clean/fast writing interface
Very reactive customer support (feedback + bugs)

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Would love to see an API to automate some of my daily tasks

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gather all knowledge in one unique place so it's easy to remember about previously made decisions

  ### 39. Faster and better search than Notion

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Trisha P. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Slite?**

I didn't choose Slite, Slite chose me. I joined a startup that was already using Slite (mostly for onboarding and documentation), and this was my first exposure to it. I like that you can lock documents to prevent accidental editing, as in you have to click a button to make edits.

You can also see which files are subfiles of another file, since when you go to the parent file, little button shortcuts to each subfile will automatically populate at the top.

I also like that it's easy to view private vs public documents. And searching for information is SO easy, I love how quick it is.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

For some reason, my channels keep collapsing and I have to expand them so I can view docs. And figuring out how to fill out a bug report plus actually submitting one would take more time than dealing with this small nuisance.

I also wish there was a past history mode that was similar to GitLens, where I view the live document and I can see based on color coding and tags, who contributed or edited which section, instead of incrementally viewing revision history. For example, if I want to see who added or made a statement (so I can ask them for clarification or further information), I can't find that information unless I go through every single snapshot of the entire document from most recent to least...

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slite is great for documentation. We haven't really used it for collaborating, but because all our documentation is there, I add my private notes there as well.

  ### 40. Very good documentation tool, with some nifty features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 19, 2022

**What do you like best about Slite?**

There are 2 features I'm really loving in Slite - 1) automatic document creation and 2) discussions. We can create automatic documents for our meeting notes for regularly occurring meetings, like team stand-ups. This makes us all more efficient but gives every meeting a consistent structure.
The discussion features allows us, as an asynchronous team, to include everyone in a discussion, make a decision as a group and then save that decision as a documented process.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

So far the only thing I've found to dislike is that there is no Zapier integration. I would love to be able to automatically create/amend documents, from Slack/Geekbot/other tools

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slite is our internal knowledge base for our whole company, but has proved invaluable for the support team in particular.

  ### 41. amazing way to keep company knowledge available to everyone

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Uziel B. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2022

**What do you like best about Slite?**

the user experience is excellent, it is very easy to use. I really like the features

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

I sometimes get a little slow some larger articles.
the tool is also a little expensive for those who pay from Brazil.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organizing company knowledge to be shared among employees and leaders has always been a problem here. With Slite we were able to centralize and make the content more accessible to everyone.

  ### 42. Simple interface and easy to adopt for a depth and variety of use cases

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lavanya V. | Director - Strategic Transformation Program Governance, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Slite?**

The focus goes on writing less on adapting and learning to use the interface and organizing
Simple interface, user is not distracted by the variety of features to use. It comes up intuitively.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Less integration options with well known large enterprise collaboration tools.
Comments feature works fine and as expected from similar other tools. However Slite with its intutive and simplicity, could reinvent the comment feature and give option for comments to be as a separate section which can be scrolled through like a document and is retained for future read and not lost in "resolved and closed"

**Recommendations to others considering Slite:**

If you are looking for improved collaboration, transparency of information, ease of access to information, then Slite is definitely a choice I would recommend to look at having explored similar other products

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Project / Functional team collaboration
Company wide information access with the big picture clear in one root structure
Knowledge Wiki
At the point of review yet we are in the process of adapting and yet to review the benefit realization

  ### 43. Enjoying the app and hope it gets even better.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

The most thing is how the database is handled, way better than Notion and has more freedom to maintain.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

It needs time to get used to it, and some features are not self-explanatory, but the support team was there.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem that led me to Slite is how slow is the database in Notion, a real struggle to maintain and slowing down my workflow.

  ### 44. Very easy and enjoyable to use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rodolfo F. | Head of Design, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2022

**What do you like best about Slite?**

As a product designer, I love the simplicity of the UI, and the smoothness of the text editor. The layout options to place elements, together with all the widgets available, make Slite a potent tool that still keeps the overall user experience very light and intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

There're some missing key funcitonalities like text/image alignment, text color, or especially, the ability to add links to images. I know that those are choices to keep the tool simple, but sometimes you need them.
It would be nice to have more creative options to arrange the content. Maybe adding solutions to show/hide content like tabs or accordions would be a great way to handle a big amount of copy. Those would also make the document more unique in how content is handled.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Slite as a visibility tool for the whole organization. We are going to have all sorts of documents for each department: handbooks, employees bios, brand guidelines, and so on

**Official Response from Clément Rog:**

> Thanks Rodolfo for leaving us a review, I appreciate you took the time! We're working on new layout features – I hope we'll be able to give you more info about it soon! Thanks again for trusting us, and have a great day

  ### 45. Intuitive & futuristic designs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ravindar K. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2022

**What do you like best about Slite?**

We've been using Slite in our firm since more than 6 months.

The things it does the best are:
- Simplicity of features - you get the things you need the most.
- Shortcut driven - Our employees can get job done without formal session on Slite. Thanks to the UI one key access (/) for all the commands with shortcuts
- Collaboration - Creating the project docs amongst the team has been a breeze. It just works!

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

- You cannot use multiple windows for different organizations.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a company with a plan to grow from 20 odd to 100 odd people, we needed a centralized system to keep our knowledge base for efficient coordination and resilience to attrition. We wanted to foster an efficient (shortcut driven) culture throughout our systems with our employees, so we wanted a new-age tool desperately for the purpose.

As it stands, in much less than 2-3 months, we've centralized all our FAQs, company policies, employee bios, infrastructure-related contacts.

Also, currently we're taking steps towards moving away from Google Docs for training our new joiners, thanks to Slite's advanced content embeddings that make our assignments very rich. (Assignments were rolled out as Google Docs historically).

In a nutshell, we consolidated almost every possible helpful detail in our work set up in a very smooth way using Slite.

**Official Response from Clément Rog:**

> Thanks Ravindar for taking the time to leave this review. You can use multiple windows for different organizations, but only in your browser. I hope it helps, have a great week!

  ### 46. Great site/app for base knowledge

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maureen R. | Developper, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2022

**What do you like best about Slite?**

It's very simple to use, easy to find your documents. The design and editor option make your documents pleasent to read.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Nothing to say, for my usage its perfect

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thanks to Slite, I can regroup many types of documents : technical docs, todo list, memo ...
Also my team and I have a common tool to write documentation

  ### 47. It helps to gather all the infos in one and unique software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2022

**What do you like best about Slite?**

I really like how you can organize, categorize, and create something everyone can see or modify. The fact everything can be shared is an asset for my team and the company I work with.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

After using Slite for over two years, I did not spot something that struggled or impeached me from doing my work correctly. As a very organized person, Slite changed everything for my customer service team.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm currently working as a Customer Service Representative; the call agents I'm working with need to know everything about the processes, rules and, above all, how Poppy works.

  ### 48. Slite has the quickest adaptability among all team wikis

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oskar G. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2022

**What do you like best about Slite?**

The interface is well designed, clean, and easy to understand from the early seconds of usage, even by non-technical users. Pages load extremely fast, which is one of the advantages over wikis based on Google Docs (the usual go-to solutions. Every new feature added is well researched and user-tested before implementation.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Sometimes editing pages by guests is not working well. That is of course due to security reasons and one has to put some effort to make it work. Apart from that - I haven't found any flaws. Most issues typical for the early stages of development (some years ago) were fixed over the months.

**Recommendations to others considering Slite:**

This is a polished wiki/knowledgebase solution that fits different team sizes - good for early-stage startups and matured teams or whole organizations. I'm using it inside our organization as well as in most of our client's cases. The above review is very positive but I'm not affiliated with Slite - it's just a good product.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- knowledge transfer during onboarding and daily activities
- shortening the time necessary to onboard a new user
- scaling business faster because there is no longer a need to teach the same / show the same procedures for joining team members
- members received fewer questions about a particular task or action because everything is catalogued in an understandable hierarchy and easily searchable

  ### 49. Slite makes my life more simple

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fabio M. | Co-Founder & Leader of Administration, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2022

**What do you like best about Slite?**

It's beautiful, simple to use and has nice options to make docs more powerful. Latter is the one I like most. It's a modern way of writing and publishing documents.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

That it's not made for public files or knowledge bases (in comparison with GitBook, for example) and that the pdf export is ugly (unusable for us). So, we'd love to have the opportunity to use Slite more for publishing as well. Check GitBook.

**Recommendations to others considering Slite:**

Start a trial and experience the advantages of Slite on your own (spoiler alert: you won't regret)!

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slite helps us having all modern documents at one place, connected to each other. Next, Slite makes it very simple for us to comment documents and to review them.

  ### 50. Easy tool for workplace Wiki

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2022

**What do you like best about Slite?**

I really enjoy the organization, the different ways to add files, and the collaborative portion of Slite!

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

It does not work for easy file storage/linking to sharepoint is the best solution we've found. Also, there's no undo button when you edit a page.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helped with workplace communication- cross functionally.
