What do you like best about Slice Global Equity?

Slice Global Equity has brought order, clarity, and consistency to our equity processes across multiple regions like Israel, USA, and Japan. Managing grants, vesting schedules, and exercises has become structured and much easier to control. I appreciate the intuitive workflows that reduce a lot of the manual coordination between teams. Replacing 100% of our Excel spreadsheet usage was a significant milestone achieved with this system, saving a considerable amount of time. What do you like best about Slice Global Equity?

What I love most about Slice is the real-time visibility it gives me into our option pool. At any given moment, I can see exactly how many options are free, which makes planning and decision-making much easier.

Another huge advantage is the ability to generate an up-to-date cap table instantly. It always reflects the latest changes.

Slice is also integrated with our HR system. This means that events like employee terminations are updated automatically and in real time. Thanks to this integration, we have completely eliminated the need for manual updates in Excel, saving us time and reducing the risk of errors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slice Global Equity?

What I liked less is that the onboarding process was a bit challenging. It took time to get everything set up correctly, and about a year later we discovered some gaps related to specific legal terms in a few grants.

That said, I do want to highlight that Slice’s support team was very responsive and helpful. They assisted us in quickly identifying and resolving those gaps, using their AI tool to streamline the process and ensure everything was properly aligned. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Slice Global Equity solving and how is that benefiting you?

Slice Global Equity is solving several operational challenges for us, mainly in the option grant and exercises process.

First, it saves us a significant amount of time. All grants and exercises are updated in real time, so there’s no longer any need to manually maintain Excel sheets or track changes ourselves.

Second, the exercise process has become much more streamlined and automated. Instead of handling requests over email, employees can initiate an exercise directly through Slice and receive all the relevant information in one place. This reduces back-and-forth communication and minimizes errors.

Finally, we’ve eliminated the need to manually update our cap table every time an exercise occurs. Everything is reflected automatically, ensuring that our data is always accurate and up to date Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
