&lt;p&gt;I’d test the ugly cases rather than a clean order sync: partial refunds, returns, cancelled orders, split shipments, discounts, tax adjustments, and an order edited after it has already reached QuickBooks. Most integrations look seamless when everything goes straight through. The real reconciliation burden appears when the operational record changes later and you need both systems to agree on what happened without someone fixing the books manually.&lt;/p&gt;
