The onboarding was straightforward, and I was hopeful at first that this would be a fair partnership. **What do you dislike about Slashdev?** - Payments are not guaranteed, even when hours are logged and work is documented. • They shift the risk entirely onto the developer — if a client refuses to pay, they refuse to pay you. • They removed me from repositories and time-tracking systems to block my access after I had already put in significant work. • Communication is poor; concerns are ignored or brushed aside with vague excuses like “bugs” without evidence. **What problems is Slashdev solving and how is that benefiting you?** They positioned themselves as an agency that connects developers with clients and manages projects. The idea was that they would handle client relationships while I focused on building. Unfortunately, instead of benefiting me, it resulted in months of unpaid work despite documented hours. ### 2.
