Arcturus, SkyPlanner's in-house AI scheduling engine, calculates an optimized finite-capacity plan in seconds, taking into account machine and workforce capacity, material availability, setup times, and delivery dates. When something changes on the shop floor, Autopilot reschedules automatically, so the plan on the screen is always the real plan. Planners work on a visual Gantt timeline that scales to tens of thousands of active process steps, while operators log their work through a browser-based shop floor app on any device. SkyPlanner connects to virtually any ERP or MES through its REST API and webhooks, with both self-service and fully assisted integration paths. We also use a lot of the properties and matrices and it helps us a lot. For us it's paid off. The time savings alone justify it. We've gone from spending hours every week maintaining spreadsheets to a schedule that basically maintains itself, and the planner's time is now spent on actual decisions instead of data entry. Add in fewer missed deadlines and less firefighting when something changes, and it's easy to point to concrete value. **What do you dislike about SkyPlanner APS?** Uploading property matrix setting times with API could be useful in many cases when we have a lot of different properties. **What problems is SkyPlanner APS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our on time deliveries are over 20% better now and we can promise them in much more confidence.
