
The backend user interface is easy to use for our marketing teams, both in terms of basic content creation as well as some of the more advanced features that allow authors to personalize elements to different audiences.
As a developer, extensibility is a real strength of the product. If something is not available out of the box, then the steps required to customise a new feature follow similar patterns across the platform. There is also a large community of developers who love the product and are happy to help with any issues.
One of the main selling points is the ability to profile users as they navigate the site, then be able to target content accordingly. With such a diverse volume of data contained within a site, anything that can be done to help the user find the information they require is a real benefit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Over the last few years, there has been a large push to make the product more composable, but at the cost of further development of the original product. All products/features now come as new services or modules that need to be purchased at a significant cost. Whilst I appreciate they are a business and need to make returns on their investments, this leaves long standing customers who are not able to further invest; left with a product with less new features.
