Creating Appstore templates easier with Shortsnapp **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Abhishek P. | UI UX Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2024 **What do you like best about Shortsnapp?** we use shortsnap to generate templates for our product screenshots for appstore and playstore. it let us play arround with different models of phone and which help us save time for generating screenshots for different models with ease, if you have multiple apps on appstore and you want to set multiple devices in a template then you should get the pro version which is worth every penny. one of the problem it solved is that getting mockup of new device took time but shortsnap made the process much easier and time efficient **What do you dislike about Shortsnapp?** the free version gives only one device per template which is not a dealbreaker but if you look at it you can call it a negeative **What problems is Shortsnapp solving and how is that benefiting you?** we had to search for long hours to get mockup of device at certain angles which was time consuming ### 2. I found it easy to upload my app screenshots and the process was well and easy to follow for anyone. I was able to create several typical mockups in mere few minutes so as to present my app design. **What do you dislike about Shortsnapp?** I was unable to edit the background colors and I could not add any elements to make my individual mockups more unique. I was disappointed that there were no options for customization of any logos. Shortsnapp has a reasonable amount of device templates.. **What problems is Shortsnapp solving and how is that benefiting you?** I can confirm that Shortsnapp is helpful to come up with the simplest types of mockups in a short time. It is easier to make them compared to drawing them with the help of design programs. The absence of customization makes it less suitable for scenarios that demand an enhanced and fitted appearance. ### 3. In a good way, the tools are simple and easy to use. **What do you dislike about Shortsnapp?** To make the mockup more appealing, I'd like to have more alternatives for device layout, such as templates with multiple phones or a combination of phone, tablet, and PC. I believe that the types of computers and their layouts are really limited; I'd like to see some additional models and images for computer mockups. **Recommendations to others considering Shortsnapp:** The free edition's mockup limitations, and the likelihood that if you want to create a multi-device composition, you'll need to upgrade to the premium version. Aside from that, the visual quality is excellent for both print and digital use, which is excellent if you are not a skilled designer. **What problems is Shortsnapp solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's incredibly useful and simple to use; the greatest advantage, in my opinion, is the high image quality with which you can export your mockups, as well as how simple it is to use even if you're not a designer. The tools are simple and effortless to use in a good way. **What do you dislike about Shortsnapp?** I'd like to have more options on devices layout, templates with more than one phone or a combo of phone, tablet and computer in order to make the mockup more attractive. I think the kind of computers and layout of them are very limited; I'd like to have some other models and visuals for computer mockups. Probably I found a little tricky the way to export a PNG without a background because there wasn't an option for "no background", you have to low you opacity to 0. **Recommendations to others considering Shortsnapp:** The limitation of mockups on the free version and probably that if you want to make a composition of multiple devices you're going to have to pay for the pro version. Other than that, the quality of visual es really good for print and digital usage, which is great if you are not a professional designer. **What problems is Shortsnapp solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is very practical and easy to use, the main benefit I think it's the great image quality that you can export your mockups and also how easy it is to use even if you are not a designer.
