# Which online newsroom platforms integrate cleanly with CRM, email, and social media management tools?

Hoping to get a read from people who've wired a newsroom into HubSpot, Salesforce or a social scheduler and lived with it. Which online newsroom platforms actually integrate cleanly with CRM, email and social media management tools, meaning data moves both ways without a nightly CSV?

The tension in this category: the more a newsroom tool does itself, the less it needs to integrate, and the less it tends to bother. All-in-one suites keep contacts, email and social inside their own walls. Newsroom-first tools stay small and connect outward. Neither is wrong, but they answer the integration question differently, so "integrates with" needs unpacking every time.

Going by the Online Newsroom Software category on G2, three take the connect-outward approach and one takes the suite approach:

Wiztrust (4.6/5, 65+ reviews): Publishes to the main social networks natively, distributes through GlobeNewswire and MarketScreener, and integrates with Notified and Cision for media relations and monitoring, so it sits inside an existing PR stack rather than replacing it. Omnichannel Distribution scores 0.90. Trade-off: enterprise onboarding.

Prezly (4.3/5, 70+ reviews): The built-in email client syncs with your own mailbox, contacts import from CSV or Mailchimp, and the newsroom embeds into your site. Trade-off: no native wire, so distribution is a separate tool.

PR.co (4.6/5, 40+ reviews): A PR CMS that bundles CRM, email, newsroom and newsletter subscribers, with workflow integrations to automate the rest. Scheduling scores 0.93, the category high. Trade-off: the CRM is PR-specific, so a sales CRM stays separate.

Notified GlobeNewswire (4.4/5, 360+ reviews): The suite answer. Wire, media database, social listening, PR measurement and newsroom all under one vendor, so integration is internal. Trade-off: you buy the stack, and your existing CRM and social tools become the outsiders.

A quick note: Pressmaster.ai (4.8/5, 190+ reviews) converts long-form content into LinkedIn, X, Instagram and Facebook posts automatically, which is a social feature rather than a social integration; your scheduler doesn't get involved.

For anyone who's run one of these for a year: where did the "integrates with" promise quietly stop being true, and was it the CRM sync, the email tracking, or the social side that broke first?

I’d ask vendors to show the return trip, not just how data gets out of the newsroom. Publishing to social or pushing contacts into another system is easy to call an integration. The harder test is whether engagement, contact updates, or campaign activity makes its way back without someone stitching the systems together.
