What we value most about Shopperations is how it centralizes everything in one place. It streamlines budget tracking, event management, and document storage—making it easy to access recaps, invoices, and proposals without switching between systems. One area for improvement with Shopperations would be overall speed and ease of navigation at times. While the platform is very useful and comprehensive, certain tasks can occasionally take a few extra clicks or feel less intuitive than they could be. Shopperations offers a single source of truth for all team members, ensuring ease in tracking spending against budgets over time. The software offers data export customization, enabling users to create custom reports in Excel and views in calendar format. As a CPG-focused solution, Shopperations stands out as a dedicated partner who are fully committed to implementing feedback and custom integrations to meet specific needs and frequently goes above and beyond typical software onboarding and customer support. My team and I utilize Shopperations to manage budgets across multiple retailers and tactics, and it has enabled us to undertake much more complex campaign planning and execution than our previous process. The uploaded PDF viewer is small and can be frustrating to use. The process of switching from spreadsheets or other planning tools can be labor-intensive at first, but it is worth the investment. I really appreciate the weekly status calls. These office hour type meetings are incredibly helpful as they allow my team to bring up questions and hear about recent capabilities. I also love the invoicing part of Shopperations. Being able to upload invoices allows me to see actual spend, which then helps with changing our budgets around and accruals. The amount of details we can parse out with the reports have greatly improved our ways of working and allowed the teams to see what exactly their spending against monthly, quarterly, and/or yearly. Over 10+ years in Shopper Marketing, I had to rely on developing and managing massive manual trackers to accommodate for monthly/quarterly/annual reviews with marketing, accounting, finance and sales. This tool allows me to aggregate all the same information, provide ongoing visibility to all key stakeholders and pull necessary reporting from one single source in a more efficient manner. Given that it is a planning and financial tracking tool, it should allow for adaptability and integration with an organization's key systems more seamlessly. This would allow for less data entry on items that are generated from these other systems (i.e. coupon codes, WBS#, IRI categories, invoices approved, etc.) To get the full benefit of this tool's reporting generation, it requires experience in creating Pivot tables. Therefore, unless you are verse in this skill, you have to require the help of Shopperations to create these or you wont get the full benefit of its reporting.
