"Initial Tracking Test by MBL via API"
3/5
What do you like best about ShipsGo?

In our initial test, we were able to query three shipments from different shipping companies via the API and view the data within our system. It is useful for us to track an MBL with multiple containers using a single credit, with subsequent queries included. We received information on routes, ships, transshipments, and planned and completed events. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ShipsGo?

We are still evaluating the service. In the test, the uploads did not return all the data immediately, and we had to query again when they finished processing. We need to better verify the freshness of updates and the time accuracy of events before using them in automations. We also need to size the cost according to our actual MBL volume. "Central Tracking: Intuitive, Transparent, and Consistently Performing"
4.5/5
What do you like best about ShipsGo?

The ability to centrally track our shipments without having to manually update the data each time is a huge time advantage and also minimizes potential sources of error. The operation is intuitive and requires no onboarding or special instruction. The ability to import data conveniently and securely avoids additional workload, and the data can also be exported for further use. The information about changes is also very helpful, on the one hand for communication between departments internally, but even more useful for communication with our customers. This ensures transparency and trust. The data obtained can be well integrated into existing systems and significantly enhance the expressiveness, with consistent performance. We have not been able to detect any gaps so far. The pricing of 2USD per tracking seems a lot at first glance, but the advantage gained from time savings and transparency outweighs it and can thus be considered fair. What do you dislike about ShipsGo?

In the overall view, I would like to have the original ETA, the actual one, and the change displayed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Rich Tracking API, but Timestamp Precision and Shipment Lifecycle Docs Need Clarity"
3.5/5
What do you like best about ShipsGo?

ShipsGo provides detailed, structured tracking data through an API that is straightforward to evaluate and integrate. In our tests, both Ocean and Air shipments returned useful multi-leg routes, milestones, vessel or flight details, and transshipment information. I also appreciate that creating a shipment consumes one credit while subsequent status retrievals do not, which makes ongoing polling predictable. We evaluated ShipsGo using trial credits and have not yet purchased a commercial plan, so we cannot assess its long-term value for money. The credit-based model is easy to understand, and charging for shipment creation rather than subsequent retrievals makes evaluation and ongoing polling predictable. The final value will depend on the commercial pricing offered for our expected volume. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ShipsGo?

Some Ocean milestone timestamps were returned as date-only values normalized to noon, which can make the data appear more precise than it actually is. Shipment creation is also asynchronous and may require polling before the route becomes available. Clearer API documentation about timestamp precision, container journey selection, and shipment lifecycle fields would make integrations safer and easier to implement. "Simple, reliable end-to-end tracking"
5/5
What do you like best about ShipsGo?

Shipsgo gives us total visibility over our LTL shipments from the port of lading to our delivery warehouse. We don't have complicated needs or use every feature offered, but the movement updates (alerting us to early arrivals or unexpected delays) are invaluable. Their customer service team is also fast and responsive whenever we need support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ShipsGo?

Honestly, very little for our use case. Because the platform offers so many features, it has far more capabilities than we personally need, but it never gets in the way of simple, effective tracking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to Use, Affordable Container Monitoring That’s Genuinely Useful"
4/5
What do you like best about ShipsGo?

It’s easy to use, affordable, and genuinely useful when I’m monitoring several containers at once. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ShipsGo?

You can’t see the reasons behind the delays when they happen, and the updates aren’t 100% real-time. Sometimes it doesn’t refresh or change at all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast, Personalized Support and Improved API Data Quality"
5/5
What do you like best about ShipsGo?

Their response time and personalized support Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ShipsGo?

A recent upgrade to their API meant we had to modify our integration which took some development effort. That said, the upgrade did improve the quality of data returned via the API which is appreciated by us and our customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
