In our tests, both Ocean and Air shipments returned useful multi-leg routes, milestones, vessel or flight details, and transshipment information. I also appreciate that creating a shipment consumes one credit while subsequent status retrievals do not, which makes ongoing polling predictable. We evaluated ShipsGo using trial credits and have not yet purchased a commercial plan, so we cannot assess its long-term value for money. The credit-based model is easy to understand, and charging for shipment creation rather than subsequent retrievals makes evaluation and ongoing polling predictable.
