We did explore an AI based solution with Sensible and they did not seem to have an interest or capability. AI is not high on our needs list in this part of our business since the Extraction Tool they provided is quite good and fairly priced. **What problems is Sensible solving and how is that benefiting you?** We provide cost estimates following our property inspections and the first step of moving inspection findings into a spreadsheet is a breeze with the Extraction Tool. You don’t need a software engineer to administer it, but I would recommend having at least a semi-technical admin. **What problems is Sensible solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use Sensible to extract accounting information from invoices. We chose it over an AI-only tool because accuracy is paramount for us, especially when pulling data from long financial tables. ### 5. They are attentive to our needs and are flexible when there's something we require such as some configuration help. They also proactively offer support, such as a bi-weekly sync without me needing to ask, and they respond quickly and thoughtfully. The tool itself is very clean / easy for developers to use, and superior in terms of extraction speed vs. other solutions we've integrated with or evaluated. And the non-LLM aspects of the business using rules-based approaches to extract data are very good. Sensible was very reliable for our use cases. We are extremely happy with Sensible and are glad that we are partnering with them. **What do you dislike about Sensible?** Like any startup, there are features that don't currently exist in the product. For example, we want to pass in context to help in the extraction process for certain documents, and we are unable to do that quickly. **What problems is Sensible solving and how is that benefiting you?** Sensible is helping us extract information from documents like order forms and purchase orders. ### 6. I'm also super impressed with the support team. They communicate effectively and efficiently. **What do you dislike about Sensible?** There is a quite a bit of work required to get consistent results out of a particular document format; to get the accuracy we require, we need specific configurations/template structures for each potential document format we could see. This is not too different from most options in the industry, but it is more work than sometimes expected when the industry preaches that OCR can solve all your data extraction needs at the click of a button. It's not that simple. All that that being said, I am very impressed with the sensible team and their process for setting up specific configurations for us. It is a bit pricey; but so far it's been worth it. **What problems is Sensible solving and how is that benefiting you?** We're getting structured data out of unstructured documents. ### 7. With Sensible we have set up several templates for these and they enable us to convert many different PDF documents quickly and accurate. ### 8. If you had asked me before that, I would have said "launch an email intake feature" but then they did **What problems is Sensible solving and how is that benefiting you?** At Marble we were able to very quickly and reliably parse insurance dec pages. As a non-engineer I was also able to set up configurations for new document types quickly and without bugging anyone else. ### 9. In our context, we needed to parse a huge amount of PDFs for particular information to allow it to be imported via CSV to another system. Sensible made a task that what would have taken a full day manually into a 10 minute job. **What do you dislike about Sensible?** I think the pricing models could be improved upon. We don't need Sensible on a regular basis for our processes, but rather ad hoc for occasional use. It is incredibly expensive and difficult to justify the license cost if it's not a core part of daily operational processes (if it is though, I have no doubt it's worth every cent). **What problems is Sensible solving and how is that benefiting you?** We had a huge amount of data within PDF documents that we needed in CSV format for further processing. ### 11.
