I love that it transcribes the meeting for me and put together action steps automatically based on the conversation. I also really that it gives me prompts and questions to go through a routine when making specific types of sales calls then gives me a "score" to work on for future conversations. I don't like that it only integrates with Hubspot as a CRM, if this function can be turned into a Zap, it'd open up a whole slew of integrations. The other thing I'm not a fan of is if I'm doing this via phone call and NOT Google Meets or Zoom, nothing is grabbed, even when on screen. The feature I find most valuable is the notetaking functionality for Google Meet and Zoom. It discreetly saves my notes without appearing as a bot in the meeting, allowing me to provide feedback later without others knowing. Additionally, the meeting summary feature is simply fantastic! SMTP is great when you are strapped for time/bandwidth for rep coaching. It allows them to get in way more rounds of role plays without filling up the calendars of reps or Sr. AEs. That way, when it comes to do some role plays with the team they can work on more advanced objections and scenarios so they are more than ready for their daily dials. The system comes with pre-built scenarios and objection cards, but it is a bit cumbersome to write them all out when you want personas or situations specific to your company and prospects. It's awesome to be able to do sales call simulations where you don't need to utilize any human resource beyond you as the trainee. From the first time that I started to use SellMeThisPen, I was pleasantly surprised in how conversational the AI responses were and how quickly the responses came. It was great when the AI responded in a way that was appropriate to your last question but where it ends up taking it in a direction you didn't see coming. Once you're done a call simulation, it's very helpful to see the score you get based on a mix of criteria and to be able to see the transcript of how the conversation went. I'm confident that the more times I do call simulations, the more comfortable and confident I'll be when doing real sales calls. It's much better to work out the kinks with AI then with potential customers that you may otherwise miss out on! I'll also note that when I reached out to their support to inquire about something, they were very quick to respond. I feel like this is somewhat the case with most every AI voice still, but the voices that I've heard so far still have a bit of a robotic AI type of sound to them. I'd be very surprised if this doesn't improve over time, but they're pretty good sounding already in my opinion. That said, the substance of what the AI responses are is far more important to me. The ability to practice and hone my sales skills and overall process with AI roleplays as opposed to having to burn through real leads that are costly and could become actual business if they were handled right, is unparalleled. Not to mention this roleplays and developed specifically for our use case. I feel SMTP is a one stop shop for everything regarding sales practice and support. There's the roleplays, detailed call summaries, personalized sales emails, and AI coaching based for real customer calls. Before introducing this tool we had to do 'sponsorships' where tenured sellers had to take time from selling to coach trainees, hindering our ability to sell. Even with the sponsorships, trainees would usually need 2 - 3 months after starting the job to get to the desired production and sales levels. Now they're selling during training!
