Using the Screwdrivers product over the last 15 years has been great. The best features are it's very simply to configure and get started. The client software is also a click-through installation. We previously used ThinPrint but experienced frequent print spooler instability and printing-related issues. Since migrating to ScrewDrivers, we have seen a significant improvement in reliability, and print spooler stability has no longer been a concern.

One of the biggest advantages of ScrewDrivers is its intuitive and easy-to-manage administration console. By leveraging Active Directory integration, we can efficiently assign printers to specific departments and business units, as well as deploy new printer queues with minimal effort. Printer management is straightforward, reducing administrative overhead and simplifying ongoing maintenance.

ScrewDrivers has also provided a more consistent and reliable printing experience for our Citrix environment. The platform's universal print driver approach minimizes driver-related issues, reduces complexity, and helps ensure users can access the printers they need without requiring extensive support intervention.

Overall, ScrewDrivers has delivered a stable, scalable, and easy-to-manage printing solution. We rarely encounter issues with the ScrewDrivers print services, and the reduction in printing-related incidents has allowed our IT team to spend less time troubleshooting and more time focusing on strategic initiatives. What I like best about ScrewDrivers is its reliability and consistency in real world production environments. I've supported organizations using both ScrewDrivers Essentials and Pro for more than 10 years, and the software has consistently solved complex Remote Desktop printing challenges that Windows native redirection often struggles with. We utilize ScrewDrivers to scan files directly into remote Software on an AVD. Software works wonderfully well, and when we ran into issues during our testing for migration. I’ve got to say, the latest update to ScrewDrivers V7 managed printing has impressed me. This upgrade has been a game-changer for us, especially when streamlining our onboarding printer assignment workflows. It’s tackled many of the headaches we dealt with in the older, unsupported product Simply Printing version. Honestly, it’s improved things in ways I didn’t even realize we needed! The new UI is super user-friendly, everything runs more efficiently, and we’ve noticed a huge drop in printer downtime and zero user missing printer issues that plagued us previously. Our daily operations are so much smoother now, and everyone on our team is raving about it. Hats off to the ScrewDrivers team for putting so much thought and creativity into Version 7!

On top of the awesome product, I can’t say enough about the incredible support we got during the switch. Onai, our salesperson, was just fantastic to work with. She’s professional and took the time to dig into how we used ScrewDrivers in our environment. Her enthusiasm was contagious, and she made my decision to invest in the upgrade a no-brainer. Onai listened to our specific challenges with the outdated Simply Print version, answered all my questions clearly, and made sure I felt good about every step of the upgrade process. She treated us like true partners, not just another sale, which meant a lot to me.

Then there’s Nikolay, who provided direct tech support – I’m honestly so grateful for his help. After the update, he made sure everything went off without a hitch. His know-how and patience stood out as he guided me through setting things up and sorted out a few small glitches with activating the new print server. What really impressed me was his dedication – even jumping in remotely to help me on his day off! Because of him, we had almost no downtime during the project and were back up and into production in no time. You could tell he genuinely cares about making sure we succeed.

All in all, the ScrewDrivers V7 update has gone way beyond what I expected the benefit of the upgrade would bring, and having Onai and Nikolay in our corner made the whole experience even better. We’re thrilled to keep using this top-notch solution on our Terminal Server and can’t wait to see what the ScrewDrivers team cooks up next. If you’re on the fence about upgrading, trust me – you won’t regret it!

(1) License Renewal Process. The lack of an automatic license renewal and the amount of manual handling is less than desired. (2) A more proactive notification system about renewals (Emails Notice) would be nice. This might be better now that we are on the latest version, time will tell. Love the transparency of the product, the setup is extremely easy, works the first time.
