S-Docs is native to Salesforce, giving developers the ease to build complex feature requests, unlike a template-based tool. We can work quickly, and data never goes away from the Salesforce platform, and it never does. It is simple and easy to use for all skill levels. As a Salesforce consultancy, document generation and e-Signature are common requirements for many of our clients, and we have implemented several different solutions. Where we are able to influence this decision, our go-to recommendation is S-Docs for the following reasons.

• It is completely on-platform, i.e. the customer's data never leaves Salesforce, and there is no integration to an external server. This means that the integration failures and performance issues we see with some other solutions simply don't exist.

• The licencing model is a bit simpler and more flexible than some other providers; essentially they are willing to price based on annual volume of documents whereas other solutions are based on a split between named users and a daily volume for automated generations

• The template builder is much easier to use than some other providers (it's all within Salesforce, not in Microsoft Word) – making it more likely the business can maintain their own templates going forwards.

• Crucially – it supports custom CSS / HTML in the email template builder, allowing us to design much richer branded email templates

• S-Docs has an electronic signature solution (S-Sign), which works seamlessly with S-Docs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have been using the S-Docs Mass Merge feature for several years now. I could not do my job without it! It took a little while to set it up, but if you follow the provided directions - mostly copying and pasting - it works perfectly (and I am no programmer, though you will need Salesforce Admin and Apex permissions to complete the set-up). My organization sends out thousands of mass emails a year and hundred of printed documents using S-Docs. S-Docs makes it so easy. I have the settings adjusted to place a file in each opportunity that I send out to, so there is no guessing as to whether the work was completed or not and you can see exactly what the contact received. I had tried other document/email generators and they were either too confusing or not robust enough. S-Docs is just the right level of ease and functionality. I wish there were more options for future dating documents. There is an option to go one week out, which is great, but I'd like more options. Often we'll do a printing and mail it on the following day or two. Maybe options are there and I just have not discovered them yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our Sales teams use S-Docs frequently for generating quotes and proposals. It's a quick and easy process that allows them to generate the documents they need. It's very user-friendly which has helped with adoption. The customer service I have received regarding support issues has been fast, effective and thoughtful.
