**What do you like best about Rival Technologies?**

From a consumer perspective the platform is very intuitive and truly helps us meet our users where they are. I love how modern the look and experience is. We also get survey responses so quickly and it's been extremely helpful especially when we have quick turnaround times.

**What do you dislike about Rival Technologies?**

Sometimes the survey building UI/UX can be a little clunky. I've had a few times where I made changes and it immediately reverts to what was there before. Or I start typing in one text box and it jumps to another text box mid typing. I think the overall experience can be smoother

We have an extremely high volume of consumer testing needs and Rival is allowing us to conduct all the research we need within a reasonable budget

The best thing about Rival is their team and how much they really want to help and support my business. I've heard many times before that a supplier would be an "extension of my team", but Rival really makes it happen. It's just at a different level.

The second best thing is their technology and how well they do conversational insights. It's a great innovation in the research world and allows me to talk with my audiences in a very authentic way.

**What do you like best about Rival Technologies?**

Over the years, I’ve worked across various industries in Consumer Insights and Research functions, collaborating with many community research vendors. I can fully attest that Rival Technologies stands out as a well-rounded platform with an exceptional service team. While we're still fairly new to the platform & services, we've already been able to act on many findings from our Rival community.

What we love:

Quick and seamless implementation - No one enjoys implementing a new vendor, especially when the implementation has recruitment involved. Rival really led this song and dance, making the implementation effortless on our end.

High-quality insights driven by a conversational approach - We've found their conversational approach to really help open up consumers. This really enables them to give authentic insights that helps us make clearer, strategic decisions.

An outstanding service team that’s always available to answer our many  questions -  I'd be remise without calling out this group. They're always open to problem solving together, on top of any requests and questions we have and are quickly learning our business/styles of requests & understanding the types of insights we're looking for. 

Continuous innovation, with both the tool and team constantly improving -  We went with Rival because we wanted a team and software that wasn't stagnant. In the 6 months we've been using the software, we've been many improvements. Their AI capabilities, reports

**What do you dislike about Rival Technologies?**

Areas for improvement:

The reporting software can be clunky; as your survey findings sometimes have to be pulled from multiple areas (ex: AI generated findings don't show up in your Topline report).  This isn't a big deal but just makes the download process a little more cumbersome. 

We're big on segmenting  and cutting data by multiple categories. We're able to easily cut findings for the typical survey questions forms (open ends, multi or single choice, even videos) across categories but we've found issues with how the software collects images, as it's challenging to identify (easily) the various tags we've attached to respondents. However the Rival team has really leaned in to help us navigate this. 

While the Topline reports and Other reports always look very polished and are highly customizable, the PowerPoint download often requires adjustments. Again, not a big issue but it just makes that "final polish" time a bit longer.

Rival is helping us receive quick, reliable findings across various methodologies such as closet look-ins, concept tests, product specific dials-ins and general questions as they arise from the organization.

Rival feels like a partner, much more than just a vendor. In working with Rival, it's clear that they have deeply internalized the belief that success is shared — that for them to win, my organization, too must win. So many other vendors my organization uses are focused on billing services. Rival is focused on building success.

**What do you dislike about Rival Technologies?**

I can't think of one thing I dislike about my relationship with Rival or the services that we use. In early the years we worked with them, I longed for deeper analytic capabilities. When I shared those desires with Rival, they listened. Now Rival's platform has those capabilities. I am completely satisfied with Rival's services and the relationship we have with them.

My organization's business stakeholders come to us with questions — problems they need answers to that are best addressed by asking real customers. Rival is an essential component of my org's insight service, delivering data backed answers to their questions faster than any other method we have at our disposal.

the costumer representatives have been really helpfu gudiding us through the platform, I really liked the help, and about the platform I love the different features, the redirect link, and the use of gifs is great for engaging participants, I use these features for every survey and they have shown great results, being also really easy to use and set up, which I also love cause it saves me time.

**What do you dislike about Rival Technologies?**

not necesarily dislike but I think it would be great to offer integrayions with other toold for prototype reserach purposes, maybe more automatic templates to set up too.

helping us ot gather reserach and survey insight smuch fatser than other services we have hired before, it is also a very streamloned way to put out our new ideas and test them before launching them which saves us a lot of time and resources.

There are MANY things I appreciate about Rival Technologies! Foremost of those would be the incredible team I have the opportunity to work with. I find my dedicated team is incredibly beneficial in ensuring the research we want to field to our community is conducting in an efficient and effective way. They are talented researchers with the ability to share and introduce ideas to make our research better.

**What do you dislike about Rival Technologies?**

There are very very few downsides to Rival. One downside would be the capabilities of the platform. I know the platform is ever evolving, but I do find sometimes that reporting off of the platform is a bit difficult and would be nice if there was the ability to export a report directly from the platform.

**What problems is Rival Technologies solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rival Technologies allows me to have access to a community of brand loyal consumers. Having access to this consumer base allows me to conduct quick-turn research projects in which having a read on brand loyal consumers is necessary. Additionally, having this community allows us to source quality insights on a wide assortment of methodologies, from simple quant surveys to more complex sensory work.

**What do you like best about Rival Technologies?**

The Rival platform has been a great tool for building an insights community and conducting research. The interface is personal and intuitive, which is very versatile across industries. The customer success team that I work with has been the best I've seen. The Rival team is professional, supportive and has strong expertise that is used to continually improve the platform with updates based on Rival users' feedback.

**What do you dislike about Rival Technologies?**

There isn't much that I dislike about Rival. A few minor functions in the user dashboard, like limited export options of reports, but those are being addressed by the Rival Tech team with quarterly feature updates.

**What problems is Rival Technologies solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Response rate in market research is declining and it's getting more difficult to engage respondents. Rival's platform helps solve for this with its mobile-first, chat-based interface that presents a convenient and more personal survey experience. This has been a great way to build my organization's first research community because our target audience is very time-constrained. The chat interface allows respondents to easily answer surveys on the go since it has become so natural to have a mobile device nearby.

Rival's customer success team is great to work with! Very responsive to our needs. AND the platform is a extremely useful mix of quant and quant.

Rival has, fortunately for us, taken on the challenge of recruitment, but we struggle a bit since we are reaching out cold on social.

**What problems is Rival Technologies solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rival is providing us with quick turn-around responses to help inform our strategy. We use it to help plan for thought leadership topics, test our online products through all stages of development, and develop the programs and services we offer. It is a wonderful speedy test bed! The video capabilities really help our presentation and getting executive sponsorship for our research.

Rival has improved our ability to learn from our members and connect with them! Targeting our members based on various profile attributes is now a breeze and it allows us to be way more quick and efficient with our time. We love watching our member's selfie videos and can't wait to put some sizzle reels together for our leadership team. The client servicing is truly best in class, they truly feel like an extension of our team. 100% would recommend Rival to anyone.

Members in the online research community aren't able to connect with eachother, but this is not a concern for us at this time!

Responsive team and an intuitive tech platform. The team knowledgeably led us through implementation of our new community and we've used it consistently since. The day to day team is responsive and celebrates wins with us. They feel like a true extension of our team. The platform itself continues to impress with expanding feature sets and advanced capabilities.

To date, I don't have any dislikes regarding Rival.

Through, Rival Technologies we're able to drastically improve our response rates and engagement because we're communicating with members in a more natural way (i.e., simulating a text conversation). We're also able to develop closer relationships by creating a two-way conversation.

The Rival platform allows us to engage with our community members in a creative and new method.  It also allows us to have quick research "chats" that our members so crave versus their typical ten minute standard survey.  

Working with our Rival CSM  has been great as was the signup process with the Rival sales and executive team.   Looking forward to what they have coming down the pipeline for Rival in the next few months and years.

Hoping that Rival keeps increasing their library of question types, adds a cross-tab report and allows you to easily get a snapshot of the profile of your community in the near future.

What I love most is the chat component, our panelists love the ability to "chat" with us as opposed to answering a series of questions.  The customer service is also top notch! Our rep is a key member of our team!

Lacks the ability to set quotas, other than that nothing :)

There are still a few bugs in the program, but they are being worked out. The devopment of a quota system that is easy to use will be great.

The Rival team was phenomenal to work with. They were acommodating and helpful as we were trying to figure out the best way to utilize there tools. Rival provided quick insights after an event our client was hosting that provided good fodder for our client communication and insights for deeper research.

We'd love to test Rival's ability to recruit participants. We weren't able to use that feature in our use case this time.

I like the thought leadership that they bring to research and especially their thought process around collecting social purpose information. Rival technologies leadership worked collaboratively with our executive team to brainstorm and assess how we could obtain information from our current and future customers to guide our social purpose mission. They were very prompt in providing followup information from our sessions.

I did not experience any downsides or issues with Rival Technologies. It was a very engaging experience.

Partnering with Rival Technologies has taken our insights to the next level. Between the mobile-first technology and the highly competent team, we have been able to garner insights like never before. Our community is more engaged than ever, and the result is high-quality data again and again. The nature of the short chat approach allows us to engage frequently, and stay on top of trending topics consistently. We could not recommend Rival more highly!

There is nothing I dislike. There is room for technological advancements, but the Rival team is consistently addressing feedback and working to develop new tools to fill the gaps that partners like us identify.

**What do you like best about Rival Technologies?**

The software is pretty easy to use and most of the users will pick up the simple UI with ease. It has started to replace the email surveys and engagements which is good.

There are no this to be disliked about this product. However sometimes there can be lag issues at slower internet speeds. most of the offices have good WiFi speed so that shouldn't be a problem

We used Rival Technologies to get meaningful insights on the customers and their shopping behaviour. It can be used for different case studies such as theft, discrimination etc.

I don't really see a downside. Our customer success partner works with us to make sure we get the most out of any set of inquiry.

Also, Its UI is best in terms of user interaction and usage.

It's a New Era, and Email Surveys are outdated. I like how Rival Tech has come up with a new platform for accurate Market Survey which uses mobile phones, and one can take surveys from anywhere in the world and uses it via Chat & video and is the world's 1st enterprise mobile messaging-based research platform.

it does not work well where there is low internet
