I even figured out how to use it on my own through trial and error. It's the slide version of "set it and forget it." When I post something on Rise Vision, I don't have to retirn to dix anything. **What do you dislike about Rise Vision?** I'd recommend getting rid of all the templates that clutter my page. I love all of the templates that they provide and peruse them often to change up our signage. I appreciate that you can set items to be displayed at specific times and to specific displays. I like that I can make different "companies" so that some people have access to their displays at our school, but don't have access to all the displays. This keeps everything clean and everyone happy. I also appreciate how many improvements Risevision has made recently and am looking forward to using the new hardware. Overall, I am very satisfied with Rise Vision. **What do you dislike about Rise Vision?** One downside that I have found is that you cannot post a webpage and have it refresh on its own. We use Schoolpass for our dismissal and being able to set this for the end of the day to display on the monitors and update as parents enter campus would be great. I see that a new update was to allow the addition of webpages which is awesome, but the lowest refresh interval is only one minute and it would be useful to us if the refresh rate was a smaller interval. I also know that Apple TV is in Beta, but I really wish we were able to add URL's to those displays. Google Slides is our favorite way to display content and not being able to use those in our displays is frustrating. **What problems is Rise Vision solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is helping our school to form a greater sense of community and provides our school with an additional form of communication. Also, Customer Support is very quick to help and answer questions! We are able to update information daily with the push of a button from our desk computers! We also are using their hosting box which was not expensive and they are able to help out directly on the box if needed! The part we love is their pre built templets that help make our tv look professional. The ease of implmentation is quick, and how we can use pretty much any device to display the content is helpful. Our school uses it monday - friday. **What do you dislike about Rise Vision?** The only downside, is when our school has breaks, winter, and summer. There is a vast library of presentation templates that are available to use. Integration with Google Slide and Canva offers additional signage options and expands possibilities. We have digital signage running on Chromeboxes attached to TVs and on our interactive flat panels (ClearTouch) using the Android app. Customer support inquiries are answered very quickly and effectively. **What do you dislike about Rise Vision?** The only thing that I have not been able to do is display social media feeds (Instagram), but tech support was able to offer third party solutions that work with Rise Vision. It would be better if the middle school had more templates geared toward students in the 10 - 14 year old range. There are also a few issues when it comes to calendars. It is an excellent way to capture the attention of my students. Some may think it would be a distraction in the class, but where students will find most any way to be distracted I have control of the content. I use it daily, but for me it doesn't require daily management. I mostly use the prepared templates with interesting facts that cycle or change each day. They require no setup time, and are very professionally constructed and visually appealing.The animal of the day or article snippets with environmental impact stories usually get students asking questions. Getting students interested in science and world events is a win. I also love that I can add custom presentations that are relevant to my students and the school. Speaking of relevance, all of the downloaded presentation templates automatically take care of embedding our school name and logo by uploading them through the website and setting it up one time. That makes it look like the school or I prepared the presentations giving a sense of integration. The design of the website for setting up my display is so easy to implement. Just recently I happened to look up and notice that I forgot to remove the countdown to Halloween presentation. I just knew the students would call me out so I logged in, removed it, and for good measure added a Thanksgiving countdown. Completed all before the students were done with their 2 minute warm up assignment. I only needed to use customer support once since starting almost 2 years ago and it had to do with the app shutting down. I got a quick response and fixed the issue. Most other problems can easily be overcome using the FAQS. **What do you dislike about Rise Vision?** It is difficult to identify dislikes or cons to using digital signage. Rise Vision takes care of all the hard work and I get all the credit. **What problems is Rise Vision solving and how is that benefiting you?** Digital signage is a way for me to get information to all of my students. Daily reminders and upcoming events are shown in focus. I appreciate the feature that allows me to schedule various presentations. This feature is great in a school setting as I can create signage that runs on a schedule. This is especially helpful for lunch menus, birthdays, and other daily information that I can create, schedule, and let run. **What do you dislike about Rise Vision?** Make sure that you use a device that is capable of running all of the features that Rise Vision has to offer. We assumed a Rasberry Pi would be good enough, but it was not. We are currently using Amazon Fire Sticks on our devices and will probably need to upgrade to maximize the features. I love the auto updated daily signs so you don't have to worry about changing it daily. **What do you dislike about Rise Vision?** I would love to see more already made weekly signage. I feel those are very slim and only made around the holiday. Also I think there need to be update selection, some are old and outdated. I also wish there were more auto updated ones. Those are great. **What problems is Rise Vision solving and how is that benefiting you?** Problems would be sometimes the signage gets delay.
