"Easy to Implement - Loved By Residents"

What do you like best about Recycle Coach?

Recycle Coach is easy to use as a gRecycle Coach has been an outstanding tool for our community. It was easy to implement, and the team behind it worked diligently to ensure everything was operating smoothly right from the start. After initial setup, they quickly helped us work through some integration bugs with our in-house systems and made sure the platform worked exactly as we needed.

For residents, Recycle Coach has been an incredible resource. People are using it daily to learn proper recycling practices, and the dynamic collection schedule notifications are simple to set up and extremely helpful in keeping everyone on track.

The best part of Recycle Coach is the staff. They are knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely wonderful to work with. Any time I have a question or need an update, they are quick to respond and go above and beyond to help. Their admin portal is also continually improving, making it easier for administrators to add events, request support, or update collections.

What do you dislike about Recycle Coach?

When it comes to dislikes, there are truly very few. What stands out most to me is how open Recycle Coach is to feedback and opinions. I know they must receive a large volume of suggestions, but they’ve always received mine with grace and professionalism, never taking it personally. As a user and administrator, I appreciate that they view feedback as an opportunity to make the tool better for everyone. While changes aren’t always immediate, I’ve seen firsthand how my input (and even feedback from our very opinionated residents) has been used to improve the system in meaningful ways. Their positive attitude toward continuous improvement is one of the things I value most. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Recycle Coach solving and how is that benefiting you?

Recycle Coach solves several major time sinks for our municipality:

-- Resident education: Instead of staff fielding endless phone calls and emails about “what goes where,” residents can use the app or website to get instant, accurate answers. This saves us countless staff hours and ensures residents get consistent information. We also take the time to answer the questions we still receive via email/phone with "Let me double check the 'what goes where' tool online." We always email residents a screenshot of the answer with a link to the tool online so they will know they can get instant answers from the tool in the future. This has helped tremendously.

-- Dynamic collection schedules: With holiday shifts, weather delays, and route changes, keeping residents informed can be a logistical headache. Recycle Coach’s customizable notifications make it easy to send timely updates directly to residents, reducing missed collections and frustrated calls. We also add in special collection events to residents know when they can dispose of hard to recycle items around the community (i.e. sensitive documents for shredding)

-- Contamination reduction: By providing residents with clear, accessible recycling guidance, the tool helps us improve recycling quality and cut down on contamination rates, which benefits both our operations and our processing partners. We really love the proactive nature of the weekly questions and the way Recycle Coach proactively shows residents things they may not have seen before to give them a holistic view of how to properly manage their waste from home... and reduce it when possible!

-- Streamlined communication: The admin portal makes it simple for our team to update events, collection changes, or special programs. We no longer have to rely solely on printed mailers or website updates that residents may or may not see. The text/email/push/phone call communications are a vital component to our ongoing communication strategies.

Overall, Recycle Coach has saved staff time, improved resident satisfaction, and strengthened our recycling program by making accurate information more accessible to the people who need it most. I know if we ever attempted to get rid of our community's white labeled app, they would come after us with torch and pitchfork! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Recycle Coach?

The customer service is top-notch, which helps allow us to bounce ideas, extend use cases, and integrate the software into our program.
