## RapidScale Reviews
  ### 1. Strong Tech, Poor Customer Service

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steven E. | Director Of Technology, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about RapidScale?**

I've been with RapidScale for over four years, and they're currently under contract managing our local in-house firewall. I find that the knowledge base they provide is the best part of their service. From a standpoint of their equipment or hardware, the service has been great.

**What do you dislike about RapidScale?**

Their poor service or poor response time really stands out to me. Their sales personnel have been extremely rude and unresponsive. When we file a support ticket, it usually takes twenty-four to forty-eight hours before they follow-up. In the first three years of our contract, I didn't hear from a sales or technical person not one single time. Their customer service and their personnel are extremely lacking. When we've tried to make contact, the sales representative was actually so rude that I would never even attempt to reach back out.

**What problems is RapidScale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RapidScale manages our local in-house firewall, which is their main value for us. They also support our Microsoft Office licensing, and their knowledge base is quite valuable.

  ### 2. Exceptional AWS Management and Flexible Services

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rudy Z. | DevOps Engineer, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about RapidScale?**

I appreciate that RapidScale supports several AWS accounts, covering consulting, patching, management, and monitoring. Their expertise in AWS is valuable, as they manage all aspects for us, offering both fully managed services and hybrid models. RapidScale's flexibility in allowing us to use their services as we need—whether fully managed or just certain features—is great. The features they offer are up to date and very useful, including rightsizing tools to manage AWS costs. We are satisfied with their overall services. They are a full-service provider, and the more resources we manage with them, the better the cost averages. They are always responsive, whether it's a production issue or a lower priority one. We found them engaging, listening to our needs, and performing tasks on time with quality.

**What do you dislike about RapidScale?**

None

**What problems is RapidScale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RapidScale manages all aspects of our AWS accounts, offering flexible models and rightsizing tools that help manage AWS costs effectively.

  ### 3. Responsive Support, Expertise in Email Security

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rick E. | Computer Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about RapidScale?**

I really appreciate RapidScale for their expertise and their ability to protect our systems from outside harmful sources like phishing and spam. They've been incredibly valuable in helping us maintain our emailing system and fight against these threats. I've found their support to be good, with knowledgeable and friendly techs who react quickly to any issues we're facing. They stick with a problem until it's solved, and even worked alongside Microsoft tech support to resolve a major issue within a decent amount of time. Every time I've contacted RapidScale, they've worked above and beyond to resolve issues and offer new capabilities. This level of support is impressive and makes me confident in recommending them with a score of 10.

**What do you dislike about RapidScale?**

I have no problems to report at this time.

**What problems is RapidScale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use RapidScale primarily for our email system, which helps manage it by protecting against phishing and spam. RapidScale's expertise and quick support have improved our systems at a lower cost, while their knowledgeable techs provide friendly, responsive support that resolves issues effectively.

  ### 4. Solid Cybersecurity Support with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lucia M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about RapidScale?**

I find RapidScale valuable for improving our company's cybersecurity posture against phishing attempts conducted via email, preventing costly cyber threats. I appreciate the platform's ability to hold emails based on content like suspicious subject lines or sender properties. The expertise in Mimecast and Microsoft administration has been particularly beneficial. I also enjoy the use of annotated screenshots in replies and appreciate that the tech team is typically upbeat in their responses.

**What do you dislike about RapidScale?**

I don't like that the tech team doesn't always answer or address all the questions I have in an email. I once asked three questions in an email and the tech replied to only one of the questions in the reply and did not reference the other questions or suggest that they would get back to me about them.

**What problems is RapidScale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RapidScale helps us improve our cybersecurity against phishing, preventing costly threats. Their email policies hold emails based on suspicious content or sender properties.

  ### 5. Fast, Dedicated Staff and Impeccably Consistent Service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Syed R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about RapidScale?**

The speed of service and the staff’s dedication really stand out—they actively assist and focus on fixing what’s broken. The processes are straightforward, and the service is consistently impeccable.

**What do you dislike about RapidScale?**

Nothing to dislike about any of the services they offer!

**Recommendations to others considering RapidScale:**

Rapidscale has been a reliable partner and advisor for everything related to data management and administration. They scale with you as your needs grow, and they’re there to support and assist in any way they can.

**What problems is RapidScale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RapidScale helped us transfer all of our data from our old service provider, who went out of business without letting us know or providing a way to transfer our data and IT management services to a new provider, even though they knew this could put us in a very difficult position. RapidScale stepped in and, with very limited access to information from the old provider, essentially took over the transfer process. Their support was invaluable in keeping our day-to-day operations going.

  ### 6. Deteriorating Service and Unmet Needs with RapidScale

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marco S. | Information Technology Supervisor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about RapidScale?**

I used RapidScale for managing my software licenses for Microsoft 365 and DUO, and syncing with Azure. Initially, they seemed to be the best in the business regarding service levels. They were proactive with their services to our servers.

**What do you dislike about RapidScale?**

I no longer find RapidScale valuable because they've changed so much in the last three years. We don't have a dedicated account executive anymore, and their response to tickets is slow—it's really frustrating. Their billing service is terrible; sometimes they don't bill us, or they say they haven't received our payments. Plus, we can only submit a limited number of tickets each month before they charge us extra. They used to be proactive with server updates, but now we have to remind them to apply updates. Overall, it feels like they do the bare minimum and don't really care.

**What problems is RapidScale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use RapidScale for managing software licenses and syncing with Azure, though they initially helped us migrate from on-premises Exchange to Exchange Online.

  ### 7. Managed Service Model Adds Value Amidst Slow Email Response

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joseph P. | ITSupport Engineer 1, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about RapidScale?**

I appreciate how RapidScale helps in maintaining connectivity and access for our remote users, especially in the Philippines. Their ability to identify the root cause when users can't connect is valuable. I find their architecture and provisioning insights align well with our needs and staff size. Their managed support model is a standout, allowing our internal IT staff to focus on higher-priority work instead of troubleshooting AVD environments. RapidScale's assistance in implementing and managing our AVD has brought us workforce flexibility, and their managed service model offers an ecosystem advantage.

**What do you dislike about RapidScale?**

I think RapidScale could improve on having a more rapid response to emails. They use emails for ticket management, and sometimes faster replies would be beneficial.

**What problems is RapidScale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RapidScale helps maintain connectivity for remote users, identifies root causes for connection issues, and manages infrastructure allowing our IT team to focus on priorities. Implementing AVD with RapidScale also enhances workforce flexibility.

  ### 8. Reliable MSP with Comprehensive IT Solutions

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael S. | Technology Solutions Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2026

**What do you like best about RapidScale?**

I appreciate RapidScale's impressive team of knowledgeable engineers who have supported our IT infrastructure management and their expert deliverables that help with future planning specific to our company's needs without pushing high-cost solutions. Their competitive pricing and effective transition plan made my switch to them seamless. As the only IT person here, I value their assistance with backups, networking, and infrastructure management, which lets me sleep well knowing they handle updates overnight. They meet our cybersecurity requirements by keeping systems up to date and are capable of addressing outages during work hours. Security as a Service for both networking and email safeguarding is especially commendable, and they stay current with market trends, completing updates off-hours to avoid business downtime. I find their consistent communication during security patches and updates to be quite prompt and reassuring.

**What do you dislike about RapidScale?**

They are an MSP, which usually provides IT services for the whole company; because of that, their help desk format is set up for company users to call in. It would be beneficial to have a separate line for companies with IT people because I already know what the issue is, I just need assistance in fixing it. They make me go through all the steps when calling in an issue. Being in IT, it wastes my time because I already know the issue and resolution, I just am on the road or do not have the time to repair.

**What problems is RapidScale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RapidScale assists with backups, networking, and infrastructure, allowing me, as the only IT person, to sleep well with system updates done overnight. Their services meet cybersecurity requirements and handle outages effectively, along with offering knowledgeable future planning and cost-effective solutions.

  ### 9. Exceptional AWS Support with Expert Team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2026

**What do you like best about RapidScale?**

I like the responsiveness of the RapidScale team and their knowledge, which is very beneficial for a growing business. It's helpful to have another team reviewing and giving input on our changes for cross-validation. Their experience and knowledge, alongside the care of the support, make a significant difference in managing AWS, especially when it involves infrastructure and security.

**What do you dislike about RapidScale?**

I think a better way to handle Terraform changes in a shared way would be awesome. Right now we have read access to the Terraform for our AWS but it would be nice to be able to collaborate with it. If we had write access we could create pull requests for RapidScale so it would be quicker for us and RapidScale.

**What problems is RapidScale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RapidScale helps us manage AWS infrastructure and security. Their team's experience, knowledge, and support are beneficial for our growing business, and having them for cross-validation is useful.

  ### 10. Decent Network Security, but Overpriced Support

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steve V. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about RapidScale?**

I found RapidScale helpful in setting up a robust AVD in 2025, which has enhanced network security and stability. The purpose of this setup seems effective as I don't encounter issues related to it. Additionally, transitioning from a Citrix platform to Azure with RapidScale's help was smooth as they offered valuable training to staff.

**What do you dislike about RapidScale?**

Their pricing is too high and it's ridiculous to charge $150 for every support call over four per month. The quality of service has decreased while prices increased dramatically after they split into two divisions.

**What problems is RapidScale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use RapidScale for network security and support. They set up a robust AVD, which means I don't see network security issues.

  ### 11. Reliable SD-WAN Management and Support Excellence

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michelle M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about RapidScale?**

I appreciate RapidScale for managing our firewall and SD WAN solution effectively. They provide trained individuals who assist us with these technologies. I really liked that we have experienced zero downtimes with our SD WAN solution and the response time for support requests is good. I've only had positive experiences with their support, which is quick and knowledgeable. Their troubleshooting services and access to firewall settings have been beneficial for us. RapidScale's unique approaches have stood out to me, and their great service encourages me to continue using their firewall and SD WAN management services.

**What do you dislike about RapidScale?**

Not applicable

**What problems is RapidScale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RapidScale manages our firewall and SD WAN solution, provides zero downtimes, and offers quick, knowledgeable support.

  ### 12. Amazing Support When I Need It

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about RapidScale?**

Pretty much everything I mentioned in my last answer. They are just amazing and I am thankful that they're there when I need them.

**What do you dislike about RapidScale?**

I have no complaints at this time. Please keep doing what you're already doing.

**Recommendations to others considering RapidScale:**

My advice for anyone considering RapidScale would be to start by being very clear on what you’re trying to accomplish for your business—whether that’s making day-to-day operations easier, improving security, or moving away from managing your own infrastructure. RapidScale tends to be most helpful when those goals are clearly defined upfront.

I would also suggest staying closely involved in the early conversations so you understand what the process will look like and what to expect along the way. Their team can guide you through the technical side, so it’s really more about making sure your business needs and expectations are aligned from the beginning.

**What problems is RapidScale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently, I am not aware of any issues that Rapidscale is actively trying to resolve on our behalf, but I can say that with past issues, the support team is incredibly responsive, knowledgeable and friendly and it's always a pleasure working with them. They make a not-so-great situation pleasurable.

**Recommendations to others considering RapidScale:**

Yes, I highly recommend RapidScale.

RapidScale is efficient and maintains great communication with end users. Sincerely,

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric P. | Executive Director/CEO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about RapidScale?**

How responsive they are to submitted tickets.

**What do you dislike about RapidScale?**

It's difficult to really say. They have been great. There are some issues they have been unable to rectify, but these appear to be carried over issues from our previous vendor, and not due to RapidScale themselves.

**Recommendations to others considering RapidScale:**

IF you are having issues with your current solutions, RapidScale could likely assist you in improving your IT operations.

**What problems is RapidScale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We recently moved away from a previous IT Vendor, and RapidScale has been much more helpful, successful in correcting issues, and responsive than our previous vendor.

  ### 20. Rapidscale Managed Microsoft 365 was a smooth, mostly hands-off transition from Google Workspace

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2023

**What do you like best about RapidScale?**

We wanted to move into Microsoft 365 environment because so many of our outside clients, especially government and department of defense already use 365. We wanted a smooth transition while retaining things like email channels, teams, rules, distros, as well as our vast shared cloud storage.

**What do you dislike about RapidScale?**

The transitition from Google Drive and Shared Drives to SharePOint OneDrive was a learning curve for our employee. Firstly, SharePoint is just not designed to be as flexible with huge shared cloud libraries as Google Drive is. The migration timeframe for 8TB (millions of files) was weeks, not days or hours. Additional training materials would be nice.

**What problems is RapidScale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Moving to a more commonly supported and compliant platform for our work with government and defence clients. Enforcing strict security policies, managing user compliance, and device usage.

  ### 21. Excellent cloud based solution for disaster data recovery

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2021

**What do you like best about RapidScale?**

It enables businesses to simplify the IT operations and at the same time benefit from an enterprise level technology. It also offers reduced downtime. It allows us to have storage in the cloud in which the data is secure and also very easy to access.

**What do you dislike about RapidScale?**

Bandwidth challenges particularly with continuous data replication. Customer has to rely on a service provider's security when failover occurs.

**Recommendations to others considering RapidScale:**

This solution is highly recommended since it protects critical business assets as well as your customers. In case of a disaster you can easily recover your data without putting your business at high risk.

**What problems is RapidScale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using this solution has ensured that the company does not have much idle time. Benefit is that we have to pay only for what is used.

  ### 22. Ultra-safe Platform with flexible costing options.....

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rajhans G. | Business Management Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2020

**What do you like best about RapidScale?**

Like all the available cloud service providers in the market, Rapid Scale is offering you outstanding services. They claim uptime 100% of their services, which is exceptionally true.

**What do you dislike about RapidScale?**

Rapid Scale is not providing the enough integrations with all the applications. From the support point of view as well, services can be improved. The pricing of Rapid Scales is great and with cost effective as compared to the counter parts in the market.

**Recommendations to others considering RapidScale:**

Rapid Scale is cost effective 100% uptime platform. The pitfall is they have not provided the pricing openly and they quote you every time new. Which is good and bad at times.

**What problems is RapidScale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Storage is the greatest asset provided by them. They offer50 GB per mail box which is tremendous. They support IMAP and POP services as well. Great cost savings as well as exceptional client services are achieved by Rapid Scale

  ### 23. Great solution for disaster information recovery

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andy P. | Software Development Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2019

**What do you like best about RapidScale?**

I like this service because it is capable of acting immediately in the face of disasters in which data or business applications are at risk, so that when a disaster occurs it guarantees its users that the downtime is minimal, which is a great advantage because a delay that can cost up to business scalability and its functionality is avoided, allows you to have a storage in the cloud in which the data is secure and at the same time you can access them very easily being able to also apply a recovery, backup and even restoration of them, also is a software so complete that it even provides the mobility of data or applications so I consider that in the event of disasters this software is the indicated one since having the cloud as the source of disaster recovery makes the time of this process very fast.

**What do you dislike about RapidScale?**

I have not encountered a critical problem so I have nothing negative to say against this service since it is functional and provides a very adequate support team to help with questions or questions about the software.

**Recommendations to others considering RapidScale:**

I recommend the use of this service because it contains a very feasible and optimal service for the recovery, backup and mobility of data, which guarantees that in case of a failure you can recover the data as quickly as possible thus avoiding major damages that may put you at risk Business functionality

**What problems is RapidScale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Implementing this software has been truly feasible since it is able to guarantee a fast return time which generates a great advantage since the company or its infrastructure does not remain as much idle time, in addition to the benefit of paying for scalable costs. paying like this only for what is used.

  ### 24. Hands down best support team I have ever dealt with

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James D. | CTO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2019

**What do you like best about RapidScale?**

As stated in the title Rapidscale has hands down best support team I have ever dealt with. I am the Chief Technology Officer in my organization and I have to deal with support teams constantly on a daily basis. In the 3 years I have been working with Rapidscale their support team has not seen a lot of turnover and normally the support reps know me by name when I call in. You cant ask for a better team when in comparison to companies other support teams "your just a number and a ticket."

**What do you dislike about RapidScale?**

On rare occasions there have been issues with one of Rapidscales providers which is out of their control and understandable.

**What problems is RapidScale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Complete "work from anywhere" environment for all our Lawyers in multiple states. Excellent 24hour support team that actually listen to problems instead of passing the buck or blaming something else before troubleshooting.

  ### 25. Tremendous experience, secure and dependable VDI, managed service and 5 star support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shane V. | IT Specialist, Management Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 21, 2018

**What do you like best about RapidScale?**

Managed desktops, servers and email! Yet they let me do as much or as little as I want.We especially like the ability to call them for any help we need, and they jump on it and continue to work on it until completed to our satisfaction. The implementation team was incredible, very friendly and make you feel that they're your allies in anything you're trying to accomplish. They are willing to work outside of regular hours to avoid business disruption. Quick recovery with virtual desktop rollback capability and robust backup solutions. In short, I no longer have to worry about any servers going down. I no longer have to worry about desktops going down, having random problems associated with having individual PCs that while the same configuration have a "personality" of their own. We know that if we had to, we could pick up and move to a new building and could be up and running in a matter of only a few hours, because there are no physical desktops or servers to move, we could continue to work on our existing desktops with all the software we need through the Citrix login portal even while moving locations. We will also never have to worry about PC/Server upgrades again. We use Dell Wyse 5010 Thin Clients, also fully managed, which are connected to RapidScale over dual Fiber/Cable internet connections through a Citrix NetScaler (SD-WAN) on both endpoints. We previously had 25 physical PCs, 5 physical servers for domain, email and phone. With those gone and the low power consumption of Thin Clients, we're getting significant savings on energy costs and an overall reduction in noise coming from hardware throughout the office. We're finding new efficiencies and benefits we hadn't considered every day.

**What do you dislike about RapidScale?**

Having to figure out what to do with all our old servers and desktops. Truthfully there hasn't been a negative experience that wasn't completely and fully resolved beyond my expectations. Issues will come up, because it's technology, but the very capable team at RapidScale prove that it's not so much the problem itself, but how you handle the problem that matters. Through this entire six month process (probably longer for us than some because of the complexity we had in our setup) I would say my complaint would be I wish I knew then, when we started, what I know now, to expedite the process a bit. I've learned a lot working with Rapidscale.

**Recommendations to others considering RapidScale:**

The more specific you can be of what your business needs, the more specific they can tailor the solution to fit. Make a list of your software needed for your business and consult with the vendors to discuss nuances of having it work in a VDI. All kinds of software out there, some much more VDI friendly than others.

**What problems is RapidScale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Redirecting our efforts towards what we do best as a business, and spending less time on trying to keep up with all the maintenance of PCs and Servers. We weren't progressing much before because we were always addressing problems. We didn't have redundancy on our mail server, our phone server and database servers. We had backups, sure, but to fully restore our PCs and Servers after a disaster back into production was a daunting task. The thought of how long it would take to successfully restore systems was a worrisome concern for certain, and that worry is now gone. Being able to test disaster recovery is another reassurance. We're eliminating the "fragmentation" of having so many pieces to the structure of our IT approach, cancelling backup software subscriptions for backup and antivirus. The list is long. In a VDI there is no need for Antivirus protection where the users aren't administrators, preventing infection in the first place, but also because they're only running on a temporary image that will reset every evening. I've been saved a half dozen times already on software updates that didn't work out that on physical PCs before may have cost a lot of time to fix, where now it was a simple roll back of version 32 to 31. Made easy by Rapidscale. The VDI does the heavy lifting so we don't have to.
