"Rambox – THE tool for communication and collaboration - The center for messaging and collaboration"
What do you like best about Rambox?

🔧 Support? Fast and competent.

If you have questions or problems, you get help quickly—and at a level you wish for more often. Personal, solution-oriented, simply top-notch.

💸 Fair price, even lifetime possible.

Pay once, peace of mind forever—no subscription madness. And for that, you get a real Swiss army knife for digital communication.

🧠 Profiles & resources cleverly managed.

Thanks to separately usable profiles for private, work, or side projects, everything stays nicely organized. RAM and CPU usage is generally good—but there is a limitation (see below).

🧩 Endless services.

Slack, Teams, WhatsApp, Gmail, Outlook, Trello, Notion, Telegram, LinkedIn, Zoom, Discord, Proton Mail—you name it, Rambox has it. And if something is missing: Support takes care of it. Quickly.

🔄 Like Trillian in the past—just more modern.

Anyone who remembers Trillian for MSN, ICQ & Co. will feel right at home. Rambox brings exactly this principle into the 2020s—just for messaging, mail, and collaboration of all kinds.

📱 Cross-platform thinking.

Windows, macOS, Linux—no problem at all. And with the Pro version: Profiles even sync across multiple devices.

Conclusion:

Rambox is a prime example of what modern working and communication can look like today—without chaos, without tool confusion. It is well thought out, stable, flexible, and extremely pleasant to use. There is really nothing to complain about. Period. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rambox?

⚠️ Performance problematic on older systems.

On older Windows devices, such as laptops or tablets with less than 16 GB of RAM, a weakness unfortunately becomes apparent: RAM usage increases significantly, especially during prolonged use. Additionally, error messages appear more frequently, indicating that certain services (e.g., WhatsApp or Gmail) are consuming too much CPU power, even though they function perfectly in a normal browser. It's a shame, but not a dealbreaker if you use modern hardware.

⚠️ However: Performance issues on older systems.

Here’s the one downside: On older Windows laptops or tablets, especially those with less than 16 GB of RAM, Rambox can be memory-hungry. Over time, CPU spikes and error messages may occur (e.g., certain apps like WhatsApp or Gmail may be flagged for high usage), even when they work fine in a regular browser. It’s not a dealbreaker, but something to be aware of if you’re not on modern hardware. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Gave Me What Some Others Did Not"
What do you like best about Rambox?

I can load all the programs I use daily and get at them quickly, even with the "Hibernate" mode that Rambox uses. We used another similar product, but 1Password would not run properly in it, and it was memory hog, so we jumped ship to Rambox and have not looked back. I use a lot of tools daily, many are cloud based, so this type of consolidation is very important to my daily work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rambox?

Nothing much of any merit yet, but I only started using Rambox about 2 months ago. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
