The abundance of reports & job tracking abilities is great. They have reasonable pricing options unless you want a certain module (like toolbox talks), then you're forced to have a bunch of sluff you do not use, to get 1 feature, instead of breaking it down ala-cart. **What do you dislike about Raken?** What drives me and my employees bonkers is how often they change the format for both the office and the field users. We constantly waste time trying to find a feature that was there a week ago and it's gone. Or the path of access has changed. Lastly, which has me seeking another option for our business is how they eliminate a report or simple summary of hours for a specific period that I've been billing clients with for months. It's like having to change my entire billing format because they randomly delete a summary report without replacing it with a new summary report. The changes that do not improve the usage are both annoying and stupid in my opinion! There is no longer a clean way to bill a T&M project that is easy for the client to understand, and that is just a bummer! **What problems is Raken solving and how is that benefiting you?** keeping all the time cards in one place that you don't have to collect manually. ### 2. It allows you to keep track and log all aspects of your project while you are working in the field. There is no need to make notes, go back to your computer upload photos relative to your notes. Raken is an amazing time saving device ( I call it a device ) allowing me to never miss any action on the job site. As a superintendent, my job is in the field not in office, Raken allows me to do it all right out with the boys. **What do you dislike about Raken?** The only dislike is just an issue with web service, other than that no Problems. **What problems is Raken solving and how is that benefiting you?** No problems Raken has saved me countless hours compared to how my dailies used to be put together. We have started using the Tasks sections for creating a punch list but it is limited. A Punch list section would be great! **Recommendations to others considering Raken:** Ease of use is worth the investment. **What problems is Raken solving and how is that benefiting you?** I can see site progress with photos and updates from my team while I am sitting in front of my computer. I can also use several subcontractors daily reports and save them into Raken to create an overall report and instantly send out to clients as soon as the report is signed. ### 6. Recently the geniuses in the IT decided to order comments alphabetically tho not remotely applicable to construction to alphabetize comments. I did try to issue a "bug report" but the service is not employing construction experienced professionals so that was hopeless. I have a license. My reports are bound in a close out for developers and clients. There is zero reason or sense for an application to reorganize my report. **What problems is Raken solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's more a hassle than a help at this point. Anyone can use it, regardless of the size of your operations. Many GCs now use it so it is easy for us, as ironworkers, to submit our reports and communication among the trades on any given project. **What do you dislike about Raken?** Raken has been a big help managing our field operations. Daily photos of job progress, daily reporting of employee hours, capturing expenses, and a professional presentations have improved our operations. The employees like it. Imputing tasks and managing their completion is an area we are starting to develop. **What problems is Raken solving and how is that benefiting you?** Raken helped us solve time card reporting for remote field crew. Added benefit is communication between foreman. If one foreman begins a job and another foreman has to take over, they can just review the job via Raken reports and get up to speed. I think it's combo of the app and the iPad, maybe bad service, but sometimes it wont load or has trouble with the pictures. It has an automatic weather integrated into reports which is fantastic to keep track of weather lost days. You can also set email reminders when you forget to fill out daily report which is one of many great features the app has to offer. Recently, a lot of added features such as toolbox talks, production to track labor, equipment and materials has been added. It is an overall great organizational app to track your jobsite hours, progress, keep a log of your jobsite photos and so much more. Highly recommend as it is very easy to use and it has a talk to type feature. **What do you dislike about Raken?** I would like to see the implementation of different Price Plans by employee. For a company with many employees you are almost certain to be on the higher price plan as you will have some employees need the added features. Currently you have to pick one plan for all employees which has limited me from adding some employees as it is not cost effective to pay a higher price plan rate when they are using only one aspect of the app such as logging hours. As such you should be able to pick different plans for different employees depending on their role and needs. Another issue is you cannot see time card reports on the on app. This needs to be done on a PC. **Recommendations to others considering Raken:** great automation and time saving of your jobsite reports. highly recommend. **What problems is Raken solving and how is that benefiting you?** No more arguments on time discrepancy. Up to date daily reports and site conditions. Great to log what is happening on your jobsite in real time. Keeping track of any delays, deficiencies etc. which have given me the necessary backup to dispute alleged backcharges ### 31. My workers are all alphabetically organized by first name not by last name, I cannot deactivate jobs from my cellphone, the job address assigned to a job shows up on my cellphone as the address that I am currently at at any given point of the day, and the double save feature should for the daily log and time cards should only be a single save...I have lost my entries many times due to the way the double save feature is set up...only should have to hit the save button once. **What problems is Raken solving and how is that benefiting you?** Time tracking and removing many forms I used to have to hand write...attach my digital forms and my job packet is always tracked and as accurate as possible. ### 43.
