It has some filters by file type but that may be not enough. Although the web experience is superb, the app experience is a bit sub-optimal , and it can be made better to access saved content anytime anywhere **What problems is Raindrop.io solving and how is that benefiting you?** Raindrop.io helps me to manage different bookmarks , specially on google chrome via plugin, in an extremely structured manner. It is best to shop around and see what software Raindrop and others integrate with, using Zapier, for instance. But on the whole, you can't go wrong with Raindrop. The best part of the tool is tags, yes you can tag your bookmarks each one of them & later search for them using those tags. The facility to assign icons to folders is a great feature you can visually get to your targets with ease. You can find duplicates, that's a gem, you know with around thousands of bookmarks, there's a very possibility of duplicates & Raindrop handles them well, it can search & delete them for you. Same goes with broken links, it can search for non-working links & arrange a removal of that too. **What do you dislike about Raindrop.io?** Well if we talk about the part which I dislike & which really needs work from Raindrop is its interface, when using the app on tablet mode on Windows 10. "Mistouch" is a common problem, specially while using the buttons on the bookmark itself, you simply cannot do that while using your PC in Tablet Mode. First they're only visible when you hover on it, which you simply can't do which using touch input. If you touch it it opens that bookmark (according to my settings, might be different for you) & if you try to touch & hold, it drags that bookmark towards your finger movement. All in all its not meant for it. But I think its a area for concerns as Tablets are increasing & people like me get frustated with this, I'm on the paid plan & that's where it feels like it should be improved. One more thing which I don't like is, you don't have the facility of cloud backups. I understand that it is a matter of commerce, but at least a basic storage of 5MB's should've been given to the users on free-tier. **Recommendations to others considering Raindrop.io:** You can go for it definately if you're not concerned about touch input on Windows devices. **What problems is Raindrop.io solving and how is that benefiting you?** I think its actually helping users in managing their bookmarks in a better, more efficient way & with set of advance features. ### 11. I absolutely enjoy Raindrop and don't know what I used before because this has been a life-changer. From Gadgets: Raindrop.io is a beautiful, powerful - but also slightly confusing - bookmark manager. Most of us probably use the built-in bookmarks mangers on our browsers, but they are fairly limiting. For starters, even if you sync them across devices, your bookmarks are not accessible outside the browser. Secondly, almost every browser barely does the basics when it comes to bookmarks. Raindrop.io - which is available on the Web as a browser extension for Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Opera, and via apps for Android and iOS - lets you store your bookmarks and also makes it easier to organize them more efficiently. All this with an interface that’s a lot easier on the eyes than a basic list of bookmarks. It can also serve as a replacement for Pocket or Instapaper as your read-it-later service. **What do you dislike about Raindrop.io?** I love everything about this app. It is one of my favorite apps that I use daily. **Recommendations to others considering Raindrop.io:** They make great improvements and I don't have any recommendations. They have the best bookmarking tool on the web. Overall would highly recommend Raindrop to use within your team as you are doing research on various topics. They have a free version that is fantastic. **What problems is Raindrop.io solving and how is that benefiting you?** With Raindrop I am able to sync all of my bookmarks across devices and store files that I can share with my team. I joke with my family that when I die they can just access my Raindrop bookmarks to see what I did with my online life. Raindrop automatically suggests certain bookmark tags based on what you're bookmarking about. Then you can come back and find those tags to find your old bookmarks easily. You can use Raindrop to save anything you find online, whether it's a website article, picture, video, or screenshot. Raindrop also introduces a new collection system and organizes your bookmarks into categories you can choose from. **What do you dislike about Raindrop.io?** Forgetting which words you used to tag some of your bookmarks can be easy. Its cross platform is quite convenient and it updates frequently with aesthetically pleasing features. It also allows you to export bookmarks which I find quite useful. **What do you dislike about Raindrop.io?** Although it has frequent updates, it does not keep up with the performance. At times I believe that the software lags a bit too much for my liking, which causes me to not use it as much as I could. Furthermore, I'm not really sure whether it is worth it to resubscribe constantly for the Pro version. **Recommendations to others considering Raindrop.io:** Please please make sure that you do not use Safari with this software. Also, make sure you understand the controls before anything so you do not waste time. **What problems is Raindrop.io solving and how is that benefiting you?** It hasn't affected my work efficiency too much. It moreover affects how fast I can pull up tabs in a meeting.
