Teams mode is a pleasant change for block days to get them out of their seats. The students eyes light up as soon as they see the enter code to start the game on the board. Students compete for the top 5 spots. Students do the long version on their own for homework - it isn't submitted or graded, but they know that it helps their performance on the test. Quizizz is the most-cited answer when I asked students to explain what worked to help them learn the material. **What do you dislike about Quizizz?** There is no way for students to add their questions to a Quizizz that I start. With Quizlet, I can start the Quizlet and then ask each student to contribute two "cards" of their own.
