It is truly excellent. Before, when the records were mostly manual, there were human errors that overlooked overtime, they even took away workdays from us, and it was cumbersome to let them know that we were indeed working, leading to long and annoying discussions. I also love that it has a mobile app which in comparison to using the web is much easier to use. All you have to do is login with you 4-digit code or facial recognition (if you programmed it) and use it whenever. **What do you dislike about QuickBooks Time?** We stopped using T-Sheets at my workplace after updating our website and including electronic timesheets and because it could get buggy at times.The GPS is a bit wanky. It is good to see exactly where everybody is when they are clocked in (particularly when you have many different events taking place on the same date). The simple fact of having left behind paper sheets to keep track of attendance and monitor the clock-in and clock-out times of each employee and having them in digital form is a very big step that we have achieved with TSheets. **What do you dislike about QuickBooks Time?** It has really solved a lot in the company, I think it's more of a suggestion for improvement than a complaint, with the GPS that can sometimes show incorrect destination directions, otherwise it is the best tracking software we have used. **Recommendations to others considering QuickBooks Time:** TSheets makes time tracking extremely easy, helps account for the time used on projects executed during the workday, and lets you know if your employees are where they should be. For example there is no secure way of knowing what time is actually going towards work versus say someone just turning the time on and leaving it. The dashboard for both the mobile apps and for desktop are nicely built, making the app easy to use and navigate. One thing I really like a lot is the mobile app which makes it very easy to clock in and out remotely from the phone. I like the integration with QuickBooks. Tech support is one of the best people to deal with. They're responsive and very helpful. It also records travel time for you which is great for people (like me) who struggle with keeping up with their travel time expenses. I used the free trial then after that was paying the monthly fee for the use of it individually and honestly I think it’s a little too expensive. TSheets is in competition with other very similar software systems designed for time keeping and etc., especially ones that are cheaper. It didn’t take me long to find a better app that was cheaper once I got tired of paying the monthly fee of $14.99. I've used lots of time keeping systems in the past, but T-Sheets is the most straight forward. There are videos and tutorials that you can reference if you need assistance, and even live webinars for additional assistance. **What do you dislike about QuickBooks Time?** It’s separate from out other systems. It would be nice if it had the ability to integrate or interface with other payroll systems or tracking systems that my company uses, but it may have these capabilities that I just don't know about. I also wish it had a feature where it would automatically clock you out if you go past 15 or so hours, that way when I forget I don't get so many redundant emails. An improvement would be if T-sheets could track trends such as abuse of time (ex. taking Mondays and Fridays or calling out on certain days). I also don't know if it has the ability to track used FMLA time (whether continuous or intermittent), but this would be effective in managing that for HR purposes. **What problems is QuickBooks Time solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's extremely easy to go in and edit the time sheets. If I forget to clock in or out, I can just go back in and manually adjust my time. If a holiday is missed, my manager can also go back in and adjust anything that was missed or incorrect. I have to be careful not to over charge my accounts and the software allows me to run reports that show me a breakdown of my hours. It's also easy to request time off and put in vacation hours from week to week. **What do you dislike about QuickBooks Time?** Selecting the appropriate code can sometimes be a challenge with the drop down menus. You have to click each cell to make sure it has the right code because it doesn't always transfer from one day to the next. Can be a bit of a pain! **What problems is QuickBooks Time solving and how is that benefiting you?** My organization had a disjointed way of tracking time in the past and TSheets helped streamline all of our grants into one place. It's easier to track how many hours each employee is charging to each customer. ### 42. We have many subcontractors and it was import to provide an easy to use mobile application. It is extremely convenient and gives road warriors the ability to report their time efficiently and timely. We use Microsoft Dynamics for our internal resources and pay for licenses so TSheets was an expensive option for subcontractors. The app is very user friendly and it saves the ‘dread’ of reporting or accounting time at the end of the week. It is way faster than manually entering everyone’s time or transcribing from Excel, Email or PDF invoices. **What do you dislike about QuickBooks Time?** The only thing so far that is a minor inconvenience is you can't batch edit an employee's time entries. If an employee choose the wrong job for the week, each entry must be fixed. There is no ‘batch’ or ‘bulk’ editing. It's STILL way faster than manually entering everyone's time. It also pulls directly into CRM so it eliminates a lot of time we used to spend on data entry to a payables summary and then again after we've approved that report the data entry into Dynamics. We've cut down the payables down from taking two and a half days to a little more than one work day. We're definitely happy customers, and we've only been using it for three weeks. **Recommendations to others considering QuickBooks Time:** TSheets is simple and inexpensive in comparison to full licenses of ERP or CRM. **What problems is QuickBooks Time solving and how is that benefiting you?** Mobile time entry converts to faster invoicing to our end customers and less mistakes or push back on bills. ### 43. However, in my experience, the customers/jobs need to be first setup in QBO before a un employee can select the client/customer to which time will be charge to. If a customer is setup in TSheets first, then it won't be tracked in QBO. **What problems is QuickBooks Time solving and how is that benefiting you?** Solved tracking my own time on various projects. By tracking my own time, I am able to see if I am being profitable. ### 44. My data is then imported into the employer's quickbooks account to easily perform all the accounting necessary to cut my check. **What do you dislike about QuickBooks Time?** The ease of use is heavily dependent on the employer's efforts -- employer must prepopulate the desired answers in order for the contractor to use the dropdown menu function to supply required details about the job. **What problems is QuickBooks Time solving and how is that benefiting you?** I used to have to fax my hours from each worksite to the employer. Now I can do it quickly, effortlessly and more accurately than ever. ### 45. Being able to keep track of the fundraising activities of our nonprofit, as well as keeping track of the administrative time and the actual service to cancer patients has been wonderful. It's very important that we know this for grant writing purposes. **What do you dislike about QuickBooks Time?** At times the bridge between QuickBooks and TSheets feels a little awkward. The flow using the bridge is not clear or I get confused about what to do or where to go. I hope that over time the technology may be possible to eliminate the bridge from the user's view. **Recommendations to others considering QuickBooks Time:** The implementation support was invaluable. It was similar enough and intuitive. **What do you dislike about QuickBooks Time?** It was extremely glitchy, did not have the sort of timer system that I needed, and the customer service was horrible. It was horrendous waiting times and when you did speak with a representative they were hardly useful, and responses took forever to receive. **Recommendations to others considering QuickBooks Time:** If you are a company that needs to use customer service, I do not suggest this product. If you have an inhouse IT team this might be a better option for you. **What problems is QuickBooks Time solving and how is that benefiting you?** We attempted to use Tsheets to track billing time for accountants working on different accounts.
