QUESTIONSTAR is online survey software for individuals and organizations of all sizes, including students, educators, researchers, universities, businesses, nonprofits and public-sector teams. Customer feedback, employee surveys and academic studies are examples of its uses. Create and distribute surveys The interface is available in German, English and Russian. Create questionnaires in any language, including multilingual surveys, with branching, randomization, custom design and printable paper versions. Share surveys by link, QR code, email invitation or website embed. Analyze responses and export results Built-in tools include charts, crosstabs, correlations, t-tests and regression. Export reports to Word, Excel, PowerPoint or PDF, and raw data to SPSS, XLSX or CSV. Connect workflows Use Zapier, n8n, webhooks and REST API access, or connect dashboards with Microsoft Power BI and Google Data Studio. MCP connects supported AI clients including ChatGPT, Claude and Cursor. Qualtrics import supports questionnaire migration. Hosting and plans Data is hosted in Germany; a data processing agreement is available. FREE has no time limit and includes all survey features, one survey collecting responses at a time and up to 50 responses per survey, with QUESTIONSTAR branding. Paid plans offer unlimited responses per survey and white-label surveys; active-survey limits and email allowances vary by plan. Team administration depends on the plan. SSO/SAML and custom domains are paid add-ons for PROFESSIONAL and included in CUSTOM. On-premise deployment is available by agreement. What do you like best about QUESTIONSTAR?

QuestionStar has a lot of layout options which are helpful and easy to use. It also has a professional mailing function which is great because it really comes in handy. Also, it is super convenient to use because it’s extremely easy to guide your way through it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QUESTIONSTAR?

Sometimes it takes a while to load or refresh during the making of a survey and sometimes redo/undo buttons delay the result. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering QUESTIONSTAR:

There are definitely much much more pros than cons! The cons are minor simple problems that may be fixed over time. But if anyone needs a platform to create and use questionnaires, QuestionStar is the right and affordable option, just some little issues that are totally fixable! What problems is QUESTIONSTAR solving and how is that benefiting you?

QuestionStar has impacted my work because it’s easier to get everyone insight on different topics through the surveys. It is easy to create questionnaires and that helps save a lot of time and effort. I can only recommend this more and more to everyone since it’s very friendly and helpful! What do you like best about QUESTIONSTAR?

Super simple and quick to use software and has a great result modeling and export method. I like that it has plenty of customizable design choices that I can use when I am making an online survey to be used at work.
