"Advanced Analytics, Simplified Setup"
What do you like best about QuestionStar?

I like that QuestionStar is a full-featured, research-grade survey platform because it balances ease of use with advanced statistics. It's ideal for generating professional, analyzable survey data without needing extra tools, which makes it a solid choice for teams, researchers, educators, and businesses that value data quality and reporting. I appreciate the built-in advanced analytics, like crosstabs, correlations, and statistical tests that save me from having to export data to Excel or SPSS to get meaningful insights. It's also a tool that's friendly for beginners but powerful enough for real research, which makes it rare and extremely valuable. Additionally, the initial setup of QuestionStar was relatively simple and convenient for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QuestionStar?

I dislike the outdated interface of QuestionStar. It's functional and stable, but the UI isn't as clean or modern as newer survey tools. It can feel a little clunky at first glance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Questionstar Makes Creating and Sharing Surveys Fast and Simple"
What do you like best about QuestionStar?

Questionstar is useful for quickly making and sharing surveys or quizzes because it provides a simple interface, flexible question types, and data collection capabilities that are good for small research projects or classroom use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QuestionStar?

The platform may feel restrictive if one wants to do more advanced or professional-level work, as many of the main features, such as analytics, logic, and integration, are limited or require paid versions. This makes it less suitable for large-scale or high-level research. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"High Customization, Needs UI Improvements"
What do you like best about QuestionStar?

I love QuestionStar for its ultra-flexible, high-level questionnaire customization, which is its biggest highlight for me. It supports 30+ highly specialized question types such as semantic differential scales, matrix ranking with weighted scores, conjoint analysis questions, and open-ended text with word limit filters. These features are critical for academic research in fields like psychology and social science, as well as advanced market research for tasks like product pricing testing and feature preference surveys, allowing for fine-grained variable measurement. Additionally, I found the initial setup of QuestionStar to be relatively simple and convenient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QuestionStar?

I find the learning curve steep and the UI clunky for non-power users, which is a big accessibility flaw. The mobile-responsive design for survey takers is inconsistent; some customized questionnaire layouts break on mobile devices, leading to misaligned questions, unclickable buttons, or slow loading times, which hurts completion rates for mobile-first respondents. "A simple and feature-rich tool for surveys and feedback"
What do you like best about QuestionStar?

I really appreciate how simple and straightforward QuestionStar is to use. The interface makes it easy for users to manage and create surveys easily since it is clean and navigable. While I haven't explored all of the features yet, there are a lot of features that can be very useful for varying needs in evaluations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QuestionStar?

To be truthful, I don’t have any real dislikes to speak of thus far. The only thing that somewhat holds me back is that it has so many features I might really have to go and learn them all. Perhaps a fast tutorial or intro for newer users would make it even easier! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
