What do you like best about QBench?

QBench has consolidated what was split between excel sheets and a Microsoft Access database into an easy-to-use, secure, and adaptable platform. We are able to modify our own environment to meet our needs as they evolve, and QBench support has been very responsive when questions arise. I appreciate that the new tools are largely included at no additional cost, making the current platform a better value as additional functionality is added. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QBench?

As new features are launched, we have found the documentation to self-learn to be a bit sparse. QBench is always improving, however, and we have recently found the resources they publish to be more comprehensive and allow for efficient understanding of the new tools. What problems is QBench solving and how is that benefiting you?

All of our customer information, their respective orders, and the samples and tests tied to that order are automatically assigned unique identifications and tracked throughout the system. We automatically associate test results with their respective tests using the file parsers that pull information out of the excel or csv files that our equipment produces. We also allow customers to access their results via the customer portal, and generate reports automatically when tests are marked complete. Our time spent with manual entry and data errors has effectively been eliminated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about QBench?

The most helpful thing about QBench is the traceability for each assay to easily determine what reagents and equipment were used in the experiment and to link that to each sample for easy reference. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QBench?

The entire system is built on a web of worksheets. Worksheet generation in not intuitive. The system to generate has similar functions to other spreadsheet software, but there is definitely a learning curve to create an effective worksheets as a user. Report generation is very similar.
