It took me a little time to get familiar with the interface, especially coming from QBO, but after a while it started to feel intuitive and more pleasant to navigate. For the most common banks, the integrations have been working better with Puzzle than with QBO. The Puzzle team has made it smooth to transition clients from QuickBooks Online to Puzzle. They are very reactive and quick to answer any questions or concerns, which has been genuinely helpful. When it comes to transaction categorization, it takes a bit of a mindset shift to move from categorizing to finalizing. That said, once you understand the different steps and options (filtering by “categorize by AI,” “not categorized,” and “not finalized”), it’s nice to have multiple ways to review transactions and confirm how they’re being categorized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Puzzle? Puzzle has great potential, but some aspects still aren’t quite where they could or should be. Some less-common banks can’t be integrated. Stripe’s integration can work fine, but if you have some issues they are tricky to fix. I have needed Puzzle to intervene in the backend to help with some Stripe transactions/modifications. Journal Entries can take some time to show on registers. I often log out of a client and back in to force it to update and show. The Accuracy Review is helpful when working well, but I have had several times where the same Reviews show over and over (when one vendor is categorized two different ways, for example as Contractor or Commissions). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Puzzle solving and how is that benefiting you? One client asked to switch from QBO to Puzzle for cost reasons. For a cheaper price, Puzzle offers a great alternative to QBO. Categorization goes faster thanks to both the AI and the filters (by amount, vendors, etc).
