What I like best about Cadency by Trintech is it is a centralized platform that allows all my Global business partners to perform their month-end activities, as well as processing their entries. As my Company has 3 separate ERP systems, Cadency allows us to have 1 system where all the information feeds together and we can review status across all our entities. Although Cadency is great to have a centralized platform for all Global Business Partners, it is sometimes difficult to break out the Regional statistics/duties performed by our team members. For example, some of our Mexico team members assist US operations or assist with South American entities. We have Regional Admins who assist with maintenance of their respective Regions, however when teams cross over to assist different regions, they cannot always access the information that is tied to another Region (aside from theirs). Frontier has transformed what was once a massive and complex reconciliation process into something simple and user-friendly. The user only sees the final outcome, while all the complexity is handled seamlessly by Frontier’s automation.

The support provided by Dameon was exceptional—honestly unmatched. I don’t think anyone could deliver training better than he did. If I am a strong advocate for Frontier today, it is entirely because of him and the training that truly shaped my understanding of the system.

The Trintech team also ensures that questions are addressed promptly, often before issues escalate, whether during implementation or after go-live. Their support is consistently quick and reliable.

I love that Cadency by Trintech is user-friendly and allows me to go back to the work I did previously, which is great because I can edit my work as needed. It's really easy to maneuver around, and I can save my work as a draft if I get interrupted and need to come back to it later. I also appreciate the graphics, which show me what's pending, completed, and what hasn't been started yet. I can click on parts of the graph to continue right where I left off, which is just amazing. Cadency brought real structure to our month end close. Automated balance imports, clear task assignments, and a solid preparer reviewer workflow have reduced the manual follow-up I used to do constantly. Configuration changes require IT or Trintech support involvement, which creates delays during close. Reporting customization is also limited, and tailoring outputs to our internal formats takes more effort than it should at this price point. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I appreciate Cadency by Trintech for being fast, efficient, and productive. I like that I can ask Cadency to help improve my process, simplify meanings, or even translate tasks for me. Cadency Match is particularly valuable because it automates matching, saves time, reduces errors, and improves control over reconciliations. Certification

Certification is an excellent piece of the puzzle to our overall balance sheet. It has been great to standardise the reconciliation process within our companies and have a strict Quality Assurance process in place.

CLOSE

We have not used CLOSE to its full potential yet, and we are about to implement stage 2 of the project, which will help us deliver a proper close. Genuinely excited about our future CLOSE process.

JE

JE has been great to implement. We have just had year-end, and it went so smoothly due to JE. It gives us more control over the approval process and stops skipping procedures.

Support

The support teams are fantastic, and being split between Europe and the States, you have access to them all the time. They do what they say they will do, when they says it. As an admin user I am in the system all the time. The changes/upgrades on the whole and been really good for us. We have just recently upgraded to 11.3 and strongly recommend this system Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I feel the reporting could be much more intuitive. It can be difficult to get all the information you need in one report. We can adapt to it when it would be much easier if it adapted to us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We like that Cadency by Trintech is a good repository tool. It helps track what we have to do, ensures we complete tasks and reconciliations on time, and allows us to know who did what and by when. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The Dashboard is not good, and we have to use an XLS base report to show where countries/affiliates stand by Tower. The view is not user-friendly as you have to scroll and it’s not easy to get a full picture, making it better in XLS. Additionally, the RTR Console did not balance for some countries and required the Trintech tech team to figure out why. The initial setup was not easy and was time-consuming. As user, Cadency is very user friendly and easy to navigate. As an administrator, I really like their Support Center, especially for creating and tracking cases. The support team is responsive, knowledgeable, professional, and easy to work with. I also appreciate that it leverages AI technology, and that I can go back and view comments even after a case is closed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

First, users have encountered gateway errors far too frequently, raising concerns about system reliability. Second, reporting limitations within the Journal Entry module make governance and audit activities challenging. The template audit trail is particularly difficult to work with—speaking from the perspective of someone executing these activities, the report is hard to interpret and lacks clarity. We need an audit trail that is transparent, intuitive, and easy for auditors to review. Third, manual configuration in production increases risk. I would prefer a more automated and controlled migration process. Lastly, my experience with the Knowledge Center has been limited. When navigating to Customer Products → Cadency → Journal Entry, I see only 16 known issues listed, which seems quite minimal. That said, I do appreciate the ability to follow updates. I really like how Adra by Trintech streamlines and automates our month-end close processes, including account reconciliations, transaction matching, and task management. I like Adra by Trintech's friendly user interface, which is intuitive and doesn't require a detailed explanation for day-to-day use.
