Basic DLP feature works with lot of customization **What do you dislike about Proofpoint Email Data Loss Prevention (DLP)?** Multiple consoles for administration make it difficult to manage EDM profile is not supported in the customer environment Lack of predefined DLP templates **What problems is Proofpoint Email Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is solving our EMail DLP problem where we not need to add other hop as part of dlp inspection ### 2. Hence the solution is what you want to be software with lots of customization and great detection capabilities. The Blacklisting and Threat Protection feature is the icing on the cake. **What do you dislike about Proofpoint Email Data Loss Prevention (DLP)?** After saying a lot in favor of the solution, I don't have much to speak against the solution. However, it is a bit tike taking to understand the complete features initially as it is way different than other current solutions. **What problems is Proofpoint Email Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solving and how is that benefiting you?** Being a DLP solution, the primary purpose is to detect any PII, PCI, Health information or any other data and helps prevent data leakage outside the organisation. It helps keep a tap on sensitive data and place the required enforcement to avoid any data-related security incident. ### 3. You create rules and exceptions for different groups, senders, recipients, etc. LOTS of customization for any organization type. **What do you dislike about Proofpoint Email Data Loss Prevention (DLP)?** The biggest con is that because it can be customized so much, it takes a while to configure how you want it to work. This isn't something you set up quickly. **What problems is Proofpoint Email Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solving and how is that benefiting you?** Being in healthcare HIPAA and PHI is our biggest concern. This solution works well for us.
