As our cyber security got tougher and tougher with the constand thread of the dark web, we began to use access to tools that just did not have the secuirties in place for our infosec team to rest easy at night - especially in regard to online transfer sites like WeTransfer etc. Enter proofpoint, a tool we have used to deliver files and feel safe and secure. Proofpoint has discontinued their secure share product, meaning it is no longer actively supported or developed, which can lead to compatibility issues and lack of future updates; potential complexity in migrating to a new file-sharing solution due to its integration with other Proofpoint services; and its interface less user-friendly compared to newer alternatives in the market. This is a product from Proofpoint which is widely used for email security. Proofpoint digital protection mainly focused on social media monitoring called brand monitoring. Proofpoint digital protection focus on social media fraud, account takeovers and suspicious/malicious content for accounts which mainly affect brand reputation. It has some great features to protect social media accounts or resources from threats like monitoring brand related tags/hashtags, scan and identify fake pages on social media to limit security risk by takedown operations, it will lock social accounts or pages when security risks or account hacks detected. It monitors and remediate huge social media content like it will monitor employees posts, comments and content on social platforms, it should be meet industry compliance standards. It scans deep web and dark web for threats to brands/companies so basically it provides multi layered approach for digital security. We are very conscience of our brand and the way we're preceived on Social Media. We already were a Proofpoint customer having installed their email gateway about a 1 year ago.
