As one of the early GEO-focused tools out there, Promptwatch impressed us by being very data-forward and exposing lots of the decisionmaking to the user, as well as being easy to set up. Their support responds super fast using the in-app chat. We're at the point where we're checkin it daily to see how our rankings change when new models are released, and to test new prompts. Their content generation feature to directly address GEO holes found with the prompts is the killer feature, and is super easy to export into another LLM for SEO optimization before posting. Not a whole lot to criticize, and this is a new category of software tool purpose-built for hyper targeting prompt-based performance, but my one criticism would be that the app UI gets quite busy with all the knobs, buttons, and features. While it was easy to set up and get going, knowing how to optimize is a steep learning curve. Though I think that is probably more to do with the inherent complexity in the space, and not this tool specifically. I use Promptwatch for tracking the visibility of my brand on LLMs. The interface is pretty nice to use, allowing me to know exactly where to go to access the data I need. They release updates at a very nice pace, and it's clear the team cares about evolving the product. I appreciate the ability to look at data from several different angles, whether it's a general view, diving deep into specific monitors, or understanding citations. I would love to see a cumulative view for the AI traffic section, and also have that on the Looker Studio view. It would be amazing if I could see the total number of visits to my website from LLMs on a cumulative view (per week, month, quarter, etc.) and also see that data per competitor. I recommend Promptwatch often because they have a seven-day free trial which makes it really easy to get started. It takes literally thirty seconds to go from the free trial to putting in your information and getting 10 actionable prompts. It pulls all of your competitors and gives you an analysis of those prompts versus your competitors. The ease of starting is by far the best reason to test it out. There are a lot of tools out there, but this is the easiest one to see what matters and to take action. Initial setup is the easiest with Promptwatch. I don't feel comfortable sharing data with Promptwatch for security reasons. It's not really established how secure data is and how it gets used, which makes me a bit hesitant and this is a common issues with many of the alternatives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like most is the article generation. You can add new prompts to your monitor and let Promptwatch write different kind of articles or blog posts to rank higher on this prompt. Abundance of features and constant improvements, ease of use, and frequent updates. I have tested multiple tools for measuring a brand's visibility in LLMs, and Promptwatch was the only one that ticked all our boxes.
