**What do you like best about Procore?**

What I like about Procore is that it makes project management more organized and easier to monitor. I like that documents, RFIs, submittals, schedules, and project information can be managed in one platform. It also helps improve coordination between the project team and makes it easier to track updates and pending items.

**What do you dislike about Procore?**

One thing I dislike about Procore is that it can take some time to get familiar with all the tools and features, especially for new users. There are also some processes that may feel a bit complicated at first. However, once you understand the workflow and get used to the platform, it becomes easier to use and manage.

**What problems is Procore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Procore helps solve the challenge of coordinating and getting timely responses from different business units. What I like most is how the RFA/RFI process allows different teams to collaborate in one platform. They can easily review the same item, provide comments, and approve or disapprove without having to go through multiple emails or separate communication channels. This makes the workflow faster, more transparent, and easier to track, especially for pending decisions that can affect the project schedule.

Procore solves the problem of fragmented communication and document version control. Instead of tracking RFIs, submittals, and change orders across emails and spreadsheets, everything is centralized. **What do you dislike about Procore?**

Email notifications can be overwhelming, and the ability to filter or customize them is limited. Also, importing/exporting data between Procore and external scheduling tools (like Primavera) can be cumbersome.

**What do you like best about Procore?**

Procore is an excellent, user-friendly platform that centralizes our entire preconstruction process. The biggest upside for my daily estimating work is having contractor directories, active project bids, and all associated documents completely organized in one single space. I do not have to worry I am bidding from an outdated set of plans. Because it is an industry standard, most of our partners and contractors already use it, which makes collaboration seamless. I also recently completed an estimating certification and was impressed to discover even more hidden features and tools Procore offers that will continue to improve our workflow.

**What do you dislike about Procore?**

I would say the one downside of Procore is that its effectiveness relies entirely on 100% user adoption across the board. While many of our industry partners use it, some contractors, subcontractors or vendors resist using the platform altogether. When a subcontractor refuses to submit their bid or documents through the portal, it forces us to manually bridge the gap, which temporarily defeats the purpose of having a single automated system.

**What problems is Procore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

How it benefits me in my day to day estimating is the centralized contractor directories, open project bids, and blueprints are in one single cloud-based repository. I don't have to waste my time hunting through different folders, emails, or internal servers. Everything I need to price a project is instantly accessible in one space. The other great benefit to an estimator is I know I am not bidding from outdated plans. We all know there are going to revisions and updated drawings and there is nothing worse than sending in your bid on what you thought were the latest plans. Procore syncs the latest drawing sets, RFIs, and addendums in real-time, instantly notifying all parties of revisions which is a huge asset for eliminating financial risk and preventing costly mistakes before a project even kicks off.

**What do you like best about Procore?**

The new Procore Pay tool is a great way to streamline your subcontractor invoice payments and to give your project management team greater insights.

**What do you dislike about Procore?**

Unfortunately, Procore’s customer service has declined significantly over the past year. I have been assigned four different representatives in less than a year. Each time, I participate in an initial meet-and-greet, explain our needs and ongoing concerns, and then often within just a few weeks—I am transferred to someone new!

This constant turnover creates a lack of continuity, forces us to repeatedly start over, and prevents concerns from being addressed efficiently. I would like to see Procore improve its account-management consistency, communication during transitions, follow through on customer concerns, and overall accountability. As a long-term customer, we need a reliable point of contact who understands our organization and takes ownership of resolving issues.

**What problems is Procore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Improving the financial reporting capabilities, now you're able to create custom reports, including ERP-synced contracts.

**What do you like best about Procore?**

1) The Tendering function: The ability to consolidate all correspondence for each tender is very helpful. I also appreciate the transparency, as well as the option to run a blind tendering process.

2) The Commitments function.

3) The Documents function: the ability to upload sizeable documents at anytime during the Tender process for each tender.

**What do you dislike about Procore?**

In the Commitments section—specifically within the list of commitments—there isn’t an easy way to see when a commitment was created or which user created it. Having those details visible at a glance would make it much easier to track and audit commitments.

Also, adding currency symbols would be a welcome improvement, since procurement is often done with suppliers in different locations.

**What problems is Procore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Procore is helping us consolidate our tendering procedure, and it has made the entire bidding process smoother for both public and private tenders. It’s straightforward to manage bidders, and it’s also easy to send clarifications out to everyone involved.

Procore has seemingly-unlimited storage, which is very useful as multitudinous and sizable files are used on a daily basis. On the flip side, the processing speed is quite slow as a result.

**What do you like best about Procore?**

I like best that Procore is easy to use and user friendly. There have been lots of updates to the portal such as an updated company/project view and New Open Items tab to make it easy to see what's in my court. Procore Explorer is such an upgrade as you can now see the Beta's rolling out into production and enable it on your tenant as needed before it's released to the general product. We have started to dive into Procore Pay for the compliance piece like lien waivers and payment holds.

**What do you dislike about Procore?**

Sometimes new releases are made without proper testing that leaves things buggy and it takes a very long time to get simple things fixed like the drop-down menu for names in the template section of Observations. It's out of order and not searchable which makes it EXTREMLY difficult to find someone. The Custom fields should be accessible in all tools and is currently a limitation on Procore Pay lien waivers. This is causing issues for us as we have multiple owners on projects and being limited to only use 1 owner is causing us problems.

**What problems is Procore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Procore is attempting to solve our api errors at the moment. Custom fields are a pain when using autofill pdf settings. My understanding that there will be fixes for this in the future.

**What do you like best about Procore?**

Procore does a great job of giving access to the users in the field and on the go...and to the users in the office. BUT you have to stay on top of the constant changes. I know that in technology, change is inevitable and is necessary to keep progressing to make the user experience and results better. I do feel that we are better off than we were before. It's the flow of change that drives me crazy. At one point in time, on your screen, you could choose to opt into a Beta experience but could back out when or if needed. I noticed that I hadn't seen any of those options lately. And I was looking for something else and discovered that all beta experiences are now buried in an Admin page. While I can see that having them there is helpful, as an Admin, I don't necessarily use all of those pages, so when I choose to opt us into something, I have no idea what that does to users. I wish the users could opt into the beta on an individual basis, and then, BEFORE it is released to the masses, an email could be sent to Admins. Or maybe even a Monthly Summary listing what is available in Beta.

**What do you dislike about Procore?**

I use the ERP Integration heavily, and while I have an easier time with it than I did when we first began using Procore 6 years ago, I still find it clunky. It is easy to miss syncing an item. It's also not an intuitive process on setting up a project, but I have worked through that with a "cheat sheet" that accommodates our operating procedures.
I know that in one of the Beta s that is currently available, selecting multiple people has become easier in Emails (more like in Correspondence). I wish that was the standard way across all modules. It is just so much easier and more efficient.

**What problems is Procore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Procore is solving the problem of the office and field staff being completely separate. This allows for better across-the-board access for not only our employees, but for our subcontractors, owners, and design teams to plans, specs, RFI's, submittal data...all of the things that everyone needs access to!

**What do you like best about Procore?**

I like how everything is organized. It's so easy to pin the most important tasks as well as search for an item. This program makes it easier to keep track of important construction documents. It even allows for easy access to drawings & plans.

**What do you dislike about Procore?**

The only downside I see is when there is a glitch in the system. Sometimes it doesn't allow you to go to a different date, such as the day before, even when using the calendar. It also has this error message that pops up from time to time, saying that my data will not be saved if I go to a different date.

It solves the issue of organization and having to manually look up important documents, as everything is at the click of the mouse.

It is the only platform I have used, but I have only seen benefits to it (outside of the punchlist feature needing some upgrades). It is organized and easy to use

**What do you dislike about Procore?**

The punchlist feature could use:<br>(1) A waterfall method of flow from one assignee to another<br>(2) If more than one person from the same company is assigned, let them be able to mark the other people as RFR (ready for review)<br>(3) Add response for assignee to be "Wrong trade/Wrong Assignee/Not my item/Needs to be reassigned" or something similar<br>(4) Add more filters for mobile viewing open punchlist

**What do you like best about Procore?**

What I like most about Procore is how user-friendly it is. It makes collaboration and information sharing with our field teams seamless, while significantly improving communication and project documentation across all assigned projects. One of its greatest strengths is providing a centralized location for project history and records. This ensures that any new team member joining the organization can quickly access project documentation, understand past decisions, and stay informed, helping maintain continuity and efficiency throughout the life of a project.

**What do you dislike about Procore?**

While Procore is generally very user-friendly, some of our more seasoned employees still find the interface challenging to navigate. It would be beneficial if users had the ability to customize their home page and choose how information is displayed. For example, providing an option to view project areas as folders and files—similar to the layout of a computer's file explorer—could make navigation more intuitive for users who are more comfortable with traditional file management systems. Offering customizable views would help accommodate different user preferences and improve adoption across all experience levels.

**What problems is Procore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At present, Procore is not solving any significant challenges for me personally, as I am not the Procore Administrator for our company. However, if I were in that role, one enhancement I would recommend is increased flexibility within the Schedule tool.

Currently, the Schedule tool primarily supports Microsoft Project file formats, which limits the ability to incorporate other valuable project-planning resources. I would like to see support for additional file types such as PDF, Word, and Excel documents. Many aspects of schedule planning and project coordination rely on visual aids, reference documents, and supplemental tracking tools that cannot always be captured within a Microsoft Project file.

Allowing multiple file types and folder structures within the Schedule tool would provide greater flexibility, improve accessibility for team members, and create a more comprehensive project planning environment. This enhancement would help teams centralize all schedule-related information in one location while accommodating different planning and communication styles.

I like that Procore brings project management and communication into one platform. The document management feature is especially valuable for keeping drawings, plans, and project documents organized and accessible. I find RFI and submittal tracking particularly useful for following up on approvals and deadlines. The real-time project updates provide better visibility into progress and help coordinate different teams. Overall, it significantly reduces manual follow-ups and enhances project communication efficiency, making collaboration much easier.

One area that could be improved is the user interface and overall navigation. Some features can feel a little complex at first, especially for new users. I’d also like more flexibility in customizing dashboards and reports, along with better performance when working with large projects and documents. **What do you like best about Procore?**

Procore makes it possible to manage nearly every part of a project from setup and edits to bidding and document review right from the field, not only from a desk. Because Procore works fully on mobile, I can view, edit, and update project information on-site using just my phone, without having to carry a laptop around. That’s what makes this course especially valuable for anyone who splits time between the office and the jobsite: it focuses on skills you can actually use in real, day-to-day construction work. I think it’s a good value for what I’m paying. Based on my experience so far, I’m getting useful learning opportunities and resources that make the cost feel worthwhile.

**What do you dislike about Procore?**

While Procore is powerful, there's a real learning curve for new users, especially with how many tools and settings are available. It can feel overwhelming at first to figure out where certain features live or how different tools (like Budget, Change Events, and Prime Contracts) connect to each other. A bit more in-app guidance or contextual tips for beginners would make onboarding smoother, particularly for students or new team members getting hands-on with it for the first time.

**What problems is Procore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Procore solves the problem of fragmented communication and disconnected documentation in construction projects. Instead of relying on separate drawings, spreadsheets, and emails that are easy to lose track of, Procore centralizes everything, budgets, RFIs, submittals, drawings, and inspections, into one shared platform that every stakeholder can access. This benefits me by making it much easier to see the full picture of a project without switching between multiple systems, and the mobile access means I can review or update information directly from the field instead of waiting until I'm back at a desk. Nothing. It's proven completely useless and nothing more than a sales pitch with no desire to actually tailor to specific needs.

Procore is one of the most oversold and least valuable investments a general contractor can make. The sales pitch promises efficiency, integration, support, and a platform that will transform how you operate. The reality for us has been an expensive system that creates additional administrative work without delivering enough measurable value to justify the cost. Even worse, the communication and attention that are relentless during the sales process seem to disappear once the contract is signed. For what Procore charges, contractors should expect exceptional functionality, implementation, and ongoing support. We have not experienced that. Before signing a Procore contract, I would strongly recommend contractors look past the polished sales presentation and seriously question whether they're buying actual operational value or simply very expensive software with an excellent sales team.

Procore is constantly evolving and improving! While it was enabled for my company, I was a fan of the financials module for tracking change events and cost-related impacts.

The mobile device app previously used to carry over the last created Punchlist Item template (title, assignee, type, etc), but in the recent months it seems to have discontinued that.  Only some of my previously created items show up now, so it gets a bit annoying to retype my entries for new similar entries.

Procore is an absolute game-changer for keeping everything organized. Everything in one place: It connects the field and the office perfectly, from early bidding, day-to-day use, to all the way to project closeout. 
Procore performs really well - you can manage things at a high company portfolio level, but still easily dive into specific daily project logs. It makes handling RFIs, submittals, and drawing updates way less painful for the team on-site. 
Procore is also very competitive in pricing comparing to their rivals and really gives great value for money.
Multiple reports and documents can be integrated and scheduled when needed.
Their training is super flexible. They have free, self-paced certification courses so your team can learn without disrupting their day jobs. It’s perfect if you're trying to scale up and want real-time visibility into what’s happening on-site.

I love that it lets us carry everything we need to conduct business in one place. We can handle invoices, commitments, pay apps, and COIs, and we can also invite others to our projects.

My only real frustration is that HH2 frequently gets stuck, and we end up having to troubleshoot it with our third-party IT company, which hasn’t been very helpful. I also don't like how I manually have to enter all the COI information from each company. A suggestion would be to upload the document and have the software scan and enter the data in the Insurance Fields.

They used to be the clear leader in the industry, and for a long time they really were great. However, their pricing is ridiculous, and we plan to leave once our contract expires. They’re also quickly falling behind in AI, and with AI, about 90% of what Procore can do can be developed essentially for free. Overall, it feels like they’ve shifted into a “we have enough customers, so who cares” mentality.

**What do you dislike about Procore?**

The drawing interface is terrible. Bluebeam 15 years ago was a better interface than what procore has today. Also cannot word search entire spec book, only sections. This is a pain when searching for stuff.

I haven't really seen procore try to acknowledge issues we've brought up in the past. They only ever say they will pass along our notes to their developers then nothing happens.

It's very customizable, which allows us to make certain tools align with our existing business processes. I find Procore easy to use, and I love the ability to do custom configurations. Users, whether in the office or in the field, can access Procore through desktops or mobile devices to log their work. Procore eliminates the confusion of working off outdated drawings, missing specs, or buried email threads. Having all drawings, RFIs, submittals, field observations, daily logs, and punch lists housed in one real-time cloud platform ensures everyone—from field superintendents to project managers and subs—is looking at the exact same information.

**What do you dislike about Procore?**

Procore’s pricing is based on Annual Construction Volume (ACV) rather than a flat per-user fee. As your project volume scales up, the annual cost increases significantly. For smaller subcontractors or mid-sized general contractors, the software can feel cost-prohibitive compared to alternatives.

**What problems is Procore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At its core, Procore exists to solve the biggest, most expensive problem in commercial construction: fragmented information.

When project data is scattered across personal email threads, local desktop folders, paper plans in job trailers, and disconnected spreadsheets, miscommunication happens. That miscommunication leads to rework, schedule slippage, budget overruns, and dispute liabilities.

It would be great to be able to add existing users to projects directly from the app. Its frustrating that I have to go into the browser when I am on site and in a hurry.

My company has many people involved on the same project. With high worker turnover, my field supervisors change frequently and I need procore to get people up to speed quickly. Even more valuable is the ability to track many projects in a simple way.

**What do you like best about Procore?**

What I like most is how it brings together different areas such as finance, operations, and management. I also love that I can link files and data across the different tools, which makes it easier to keep everything connected.

**What do you dislike about Procore?**

I think what I don’t like is that, if I want to do more advanced tracking across Commitments, Change Orders, and the Bill of Materials, when I attach an Excel sheet to reflect the changes, I have to upload the file again in each of the three tools. It doesn’t update automatically through the integration or with changes made in Office 365.

As a result, I have to manually update the file in each tool where it’s attached. This increases my processing time and makes the coordination work a bit more tedious.

**What problems is Procore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The integrations between tools like RFIs and Submittals across our company’s Procore and the general contractor’s Procore are very helpful. Being able to link my tasks to the ones created by the general contractor gives me better control over responding to requests and makes it easier to find and reference information later.

It’s a platform where everyone can easily access project information, especially drawings and documents. The Site Diary is also very helpful for site teams. Its also cut down in time for teams across the business.

Some tools have different features and don’t offer the same options across the board. For example, bulk actions are available in some places but missing in others, which makes the experience feel inconsistent.

SyncEazy helps streamline data connections and improves how information flows between systems. It’s especially useful for reducing manual effort and keeping data more consistent and up to date across the tools involved. The Punchlist module is great. Simple to create and speeds up communicating issues and correction notices to trades. Creating different types of issue help track work to complete, Quality Control , last punch list.

What I like most about Procore is how detailed and thorough the training is. As a student preparing to graduate, I wanted to stay ahead and make myself more marketable to employers, so I decided to start taking Procore courses early. Even though I just began the classes today, I can already see how valuable they are the videos and descriptions are very comprehensive. Even if you don’t remember every detail, the way the material is presented makes it easy to revisit concepts and quickly refresh your memory.

I also really appreciate that the courses are free. Opportunities like this are incredibly valuable especially in today’s competitive job market and they provide a strong advantage for individuals who are just starting out in the field.

**What do you dislike about Procore?**

One drawback of Procore is that the level of detail in the courses can feel a bit overwhelming at first, especially for beginners. There’s a significant amount of information to absorb, which can make it challenging to retain everything on the first pass. Because of this, it may be necessary to revisit certain sections to fully grasp the material.

**What problems is Procore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Procore helps solve the problem of disorganized project management in the construction industry by bringing everything documents, communication, and project updates into one centralized platform. This reduces confusion, minimizes errors, and improves collaboration among teams.

What stands out to me is the level of detail within the platform it’s impressive and leaves little to no room for human error. The built-in chat feature is also very efficient, providing a quick and easy way to communicate with others in real time. Additionally, the notes section is extremely helpful for clarifying any questions or uncertainties that may come up, ensuring nothing is overlooked.

For me, this is especially beneficial as a student preparing to enter the workforce because it gives me exposure to the tools and systems that are actually used in the industry. Learning Procore not only helps me understand how projects are managed more efficiently but also makes me more prepared and competitive when applying for jobs.

Great bid platform to save all contacts, easily communicate project details, and host files for internal and external stakeholders.

**What do you dislike about Procore?**

The new bid platform is much better than the legacy, but it's still very slow. And when you create a bid package out of order, you can't reorder them, so that 9C ACT is below 7A TPO Roofing.

Also, I don't like Procore's concept of bid packages. If I had to create a separate bid package just for Roofers, I would have 30-50 bid packages that I would have to jump back and forth to, and the load time is WAY too slow to support that. I'm also not sure how a mass communication would work that way. 

I use bid forms the way the system is set up to use bid packages, so that I can separate all of my trades, but still have them all in one place.

**What problems is Procore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bid coverage. Procore is an elite software, so prospective bidders pay attention to the emails. Ultimately I hope that means better coverage. On the subcontractor side, the easier it is for them to get the details of the project and download the plans, the better it is for me that they'll jump through enough hoops and put the project in their bid pipeline.

**What do you like best about Procore?**

Makes Project Management easy and the user interface is overall simple to use once you learn it. Its also great at tracking items. There integrations are continuing to grow and I believe that in the long run will help eliminate the need for double entry on certain task. Overall the software performs well but i does have its hang up when you really load the system. The program is more on the pricier side of the spectrum but does offer a lot of features. In Terms of support i have found that the online support is hit or miss. on the procore side is good but the resource management side needs work. Now the in person support is great. Last the AI has been good at finding files and summarizing data but still has potential to grow.

I think the support on resource management needs to be improved. There dosent seem to be enough people who know how it actually works. I also think there are some performance gaps in the software but it is unpredictable. One of the biggest annoyances is that every procore tool is different. Some auto save some you have to manually save. Some drop down list are last name first some are first name first. Then when searching anyone that starts with the letter A in a distribution list is automatically adds every single person. Lastly procore reporting tool is very cumbersome in terms of finding what exact field its saving your data in. then some data clashes with each other and you have to further process your reports outside of procore leaving you with outdated data

I believe procore is solving the file management and tracking issues and also correspondence tracking issues. Its also solving the issue of communicating data and status of a project with other trades

**What do you like best about Procore?**

I like Procore because it separates proper forms and ensures everyone is properly informed on who, what, when, and where work is done. I appreciate its ability to be very specific on how drawings are laid out and who has access to what, that everything is pretty tight knit. It's easy to use and helps me keep track of all the whereabouts and what's going on from day to day on the site. The daily log reports, inspections, and tracking features are helpful to verify who's working where. It's a great application, and once I got the hang of it, I found it user-friendly.

**What problems is Procore solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find that Procore helps me organize forms, make sure everyone knows who, what, when, and where work is done, and specify how drawings are laid out. It tracks daily actions on site, inspections, and verifies who's working where, which is my main focus.
