There is a lot of good information you can get from using power mapper. Using it on smaller sites is pretty manageable. It's really cool how there are so many different options on how to formulate your map - I tended to stick toward the more tree looking type diagrams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
but if you use it on a big, corporate site with thousands of pages it can get tripped up pretty easily. I found it crashing if I put too much into it. However, by using the link toolbar at the top I've realized that it is possible to use it effectively if you have a smaller range of sites that you're mapping. It's also kind of hard to share the data with someone else. I found that the best route was sending a zip HTML file, but I'd love for powermapper to build out an easier to share functionality.
