## Portfolium Reviews
  ### 1. Great site to build a portfolio

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cristian Felipe H. | Senior Fullstack Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Portfolium?**

It has a good design.
It resembles LinkedIn, which makes it easier to use.
Initially, it guides you on the information you should be entering about your profile.
You can make connections as it is a social network for professionals.

**What do you dislike about Portfolium?**

If you upload a PDF of your resume, it doesn’t suggest auto-filling your experience from the file.
Although it has a section to search for jobs, the filter options are not that good.
You can only import data from a provider called Badgr, whereas something like LinkedIn or Manfred could be a good option.

**What problems is Portfolium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Portfolio Creation: It allows you to create a neat and attractive portfolio that you can use to display and share your skills, projects, and achievements.

Networking: It offers you the opportunity to network with other professionals in your field, which can open doors to new opportunities and collaborations.

Job Search: With its job search feature, you can find and apply for relevant jobs directly through the platform.

  ### 2. All Portfolium is an excellent platform for creating professional portfolios

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jakes J. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Portfolium?**

The range of templates and design choices that Portfolium provides. It allows me to personalize my portfolio and present my work in a manner.

**What do you dislike about Portfolium?**

It lacks features that cater to the needs and experiences of professionals like myself. Despite its networking aspect Portfolium doesnt provide opportunities for networking.

**What problems is Portfolium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Portfolium solves the problem of presenting my skills and experiences in a visual format. Made it easier for potential employers to evaluate my capabilities.

  ### 3. Impressed by Portfolium

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Betul G. | Senior Global HR Partner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Portfolium?**

Portfolium supports various multimedia elements, such as images, videos, and animations, enabling users to present their work in a dynamic and engaging way. This feature is particularly appreciated by artists, designers, photographers, and other creative professionals.

**What do you dislike about Portfolium?**

While Portfolium offers various templates and design options, some users have mentioned that they would appreciate even more customization options to further personalize their portfolios. They would like more flexibility in terms of layout, color schemes, and font choices.

**What problems is Portfolium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Portfolium offers users a centralized platform to manage and showcase their work. This solves the problem of scattered or fragmented portfolios spread across different platforms or physical formats. By consolidating their work in one place, users can easily organize and present their portfolio to potential clients, employers, or collaborators.

  ### 4. It is way more useful than I expected

  ### 5. Springboard for Post-University Success or Just Another Time-Suck?

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 04, 2021

**What do you like best about Portfolium?**

The site could be a great way to network in the employment arena, post-university. Its academic focus is useful for freshly-minted students -- who may not have a lot of practical experience in the job market -- to toot their own horns, in the lead-up to, and following, graduation.

**What do you dislike about Portfolium?**

The site is not particularly intuitive. It does not appear to be integrated with my academic transcripts at my university, as in the course of this review, I noticed that my account only displays my BS and not my MA. Trying to add my MA was clunky and I am unsure what, if any, proof must be submitted to expedite approval of my MA so that it appears publicly.

**What problems is Portfolium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To be honest, as an adult student who returned to university in my 40s, Portfolium is probably not as useful to me as it would be to the many younger graduates toward whom this service is targeted. It is nice to be able to share my academic achievements in a social network that is interested in them, however!

  ### 6. Review of Portfolium

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Renewables & Environment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2021

**What do you like best about Portfolium?**

It allows me to showcase previous projects and skills, connect with my peers from other schools and view their skills, projects, and experiences

**What do you dislike about Portfolium?**

I don’t meet senior users like I do on LinkedIn, only current college students or recent college graduates

**Recommendations to others considering Portfolium:**

Put your important projects on Portfolium. Put your Portfolium url on your resume. Tell recruiters to look at your Portfolium profile if they have not already.

**What problems is Portfolium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Showcases my previous experiences, projects, and skills because I have little work experience

  ### 7. I love it

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2021

**What do you like best about Portfolium?**

I love the creative ideas! I enjoying seeing other people's projects!

**What do you dislike about Portfolium?**

I dislike nothing! I'm completely satisfied!

**Recommendations to others considering Portfolium:**

Explore ideas!

**What problems is Portfolium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I benefit by connecting with others and their passionate ideas!

  ### 8. Nice alternative to LinkedIn

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 11, 2021

**What do you like best about Portfolium?**

I like the new integrated UX and focus to academics.

**What do you dislike about Portfolium?**

It still needs better features to apply and manage jobs.

**Recommendations to others considering Portfolium:**

Try it once to look
 For more academic portfolio

**What problems is Portfolium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Good for students.

  ### 9. Easy to use platform to upload professional resume

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2018

**What do you like best about Portfolium?**

It is very simple to upload projects and other things that you want to showcase on your profile. It is a nice combination of Linkedin and Facebook so it is fairly user friendly for those who are already used to those programs. The customer service and support is phenomenal, they have been very quick answering our questions and concerns as well as speedy with resolving technical errors.

**What do you dislike about Portfolium?**

From the reviewer side, it takes a lot of practice to get used to the pathway. There have been tech issues here and there but it is also a brand new platform to us on the administrative side and over 550 new users trying out this platform. There are some nitpicky things that we think could be improved, but they are things that we are getting used to. We have not come across any major program issues yet.

**Recommendations to others considering Portfolium:**

Again, a great way for users to showcase as well as submit things for review

**What problems is Portfolium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using this as a way for students to showcase their work and ultimately prepare a file of all their work so far to show potential employers after they graduate. It is also an easy to use system for each student or user to have their own profile and it is easy to go back into their history to review previously uploaded things.

  ### 10. Great addition to professional online identity

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Denean K. | Ergonomics Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2018

**What do you like best about Portfolium?**

I love that I’m able to add files showing completed work, rather than just describing it. Also, being able to add newspaper clippings creates a sort of historical record of your life.

**What do you dislike about Portfolium?**

I believe that here should be more categories for interests.

**What problems is Portfolium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to embed my professional porfolio into my other forms of online presence. That create a cohesive picture of who I am and what I do.
