"Podcastle allowed me to achieve my dream of an online interview podcast"
What do you like best about Podcastle?

I think the best feature is that podcastle allows for individual recording for each participant in the meeting, it's not only a recording app , or a normal meeting app. I really like it because it's the best application i have used so far for recording my episodes in the podcast. It also does have the time to review your episode and fix it with your guest. So overall, i am really enjoying it and i kept using it as its a really amazing software for online podcasting and recording, even my teammates were surprised by the improvment of quality when i switched from other normal meeting recordings to podcastle. Also, i did contact the team and they responded when i lost my episode, which is a great service and one of the few apps that actually listens and contact with it's costumers really well. I was grateful for their replies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Podcastle?

however, one time i lost my episode because of improper waiting before the episode finishes uploading, now this is more shown on laptop chrome, but not with apple ipad, so if anything , i wish that this feature will be added, and there will be kind of an archive before the episode get erased, as there was no way i could get my episode back. "My Go to Software!"
What do you like best about Podcastle?

I love how easy Podcastle.ai is to use. The software is so simple to use. Being able to have one location where I record my podcast and edit simplifies things so much! I love the "Magic Dust AI" and have found it so helpful when removing background noise or any crackling sounds my mic sometimes gives off. Using Podcastle.ai has made creating podcast episodes so seemless and easy. It definitely took away any stress and each episode I do I walk away thinking and knowing I made the right choice with Podcastle.ai!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Podcastle?

The only area that slightly annoys me is on my laptop when editing the slider bar along the bottom is hard to move sometimes when sliding ahead in my audio. Minor but the only qwam I've had. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Support"
What do you like best about Podcastle?

Podcastle is very easy to use and as a first time podcaster this was important to me. The customer service is also top rate. Not only will the team walk you through how to use the software, they routinely check in with you to see what questions they can answer and will gladly set up a time to show you what to do. This SW has made my life so much easier. I am glad I chose to work with them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Podcastle?

none that I can think of. Some may say price, but you get a lot for a little in my opinion Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"raised prices and reduced storage and access by 75% Cancelled my subscription"
What do you like best about Podcastle?

I cancelled my subscription due to them raising their prices AND reducing both content hours and storage by 75%. My account became unusable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Podcastle?

"Quick AI Voice Generator"
What do you like best about Podcastle?

Wide range of AI voices and affordable too. Easy to use and has editing tools included for making audio and video. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Podcastle?

Voices can be hit and miss, but the good ones are very good and lifelike. So a bit of trial and error to find ones that work for your project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Making podcasting simple, accessible and not a hassle"
What do you like best about Podcastle?

I have been thinking about creating a podcast for nearly 2 years, but after struggling to make social media content regularly, I thought this would be a stretch too far.

Honestly, I have found it incredibly easy to record, edit, organise interviews and produce something that looks and sounds better than the equipment I am recording it on.

Podcasting is fast becoming my go-to fast content of choice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Podcastle?

I joined, as it weas recommended by Acast, but I think the integration could be better. I still have to export and import into Acast. Surely there is a way to link them together? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Dishonest and Predatory Billing Practices – No Support, No Accountability"
What do you like best about Podcastle?

There are no upsides. The software itself crashes and has issues. On top of that, you will not get any help from their team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Podcastle?

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience using Podcastle.

I signed up for the free trial and used the platform once. It was buggy, crashed multiple times, and didn’t function as advertised—so I never used it again. I believed I had cancelled, but shortly after, I was charged $410 CAD for an annual subscription.

I contacted support immediately to explain the situation, expecting some level of understanding or flexibility. Instead, I was told there was nothing they could do. Despite me never using the service beyond the initial attempt, they refused a refund and insisted their system worked “as expected.”

The fact that they acknowledged the impact of the charge, yet still refused to take any accountability, says everything. I never knowingly authorized this payment and am now locked into a service I don’t want, can’t use, and won’t use.

This was a dishonest and predatory experience from start to finish. I’ve reported the charge through my bank and filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I’ll continue to share this publicly so others are aware of how Podcastle handles situations like this.

Buyer beware. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"I've faced constant frustrations with this platform from day one."
What do you like best about Podcastle?

The Customer given by their CSM and technical team Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Podcastle?

Recording Issues:

Both my guests and I often get kicked out of the recording studio. Out of 10 recordings with different guests and internet connections, all experienced the same problem. It's not a user issue; it's a platform problem. Distracting banners about internet quality frequently appear, disrupting conversations despite precautions like closing all other windows.

Editing Challenges:

The audio waves are too small for precise editing, and the audio and video are never synchronized. This creates an unprofessional experience where it sounds like I'm interrupting my guests or vice versa. Editing is far from user-friendly.

AI Features:

The AI tools don’t work as advertised, adding to the frustration instead of improving efficiency.

Impact on Workflow:

These issues significantly affect my ability to meet deadlines. I host important guests, have sponsor obligations, and need reliable tools. Unfortunately, I often resort to Zoom because it's faster and more reliable, even with its lower video quality.

Bottom Line:

This platform needs serious improvements to justify its cost. The repeated issues make it hard to recommend for anyone with professional podcasting needs. Wonder how it has been for those that give 5 stars Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"No Experience Required"
What do you like best about Podcastle?

I run a podcast, Sunday Afternoon Smokes, and I know absolutely nothing about audio recording or post-production editing. Because tech isn't my strong suit, it took me over a year of trying various setups to get it right. However, once I finally figured out the right computer, microphones, audio-interface, and stubmled into podcastle I was 100% set.

It's so user friendly you literally don't need to know anything. Create a show, get your recording hardware set up, click record and then you're off and running. Post-production editing couldn't be more simple. All it takes is one click of the mouse to remove unwanted background noise, and trust me, it works beautifully. I record in my backyard, and my house is located right up against a very busy street. If you listened to the podcast you'd never know. One more click and you'll get boost to the voices for studio quality sound. Adding music is simple too with a royalty free selection of music, and easy drag and drop to create the fade-in fade-out effect.

Getting your rss feed or downloading individual episodes to the major podcast platforms is a breeze. I have my show on Spotify, Apple (which was a pain - but that's partly an apple issue and I'm stupid, not podcastle), and iHeart Radio.

Podcastle has made creating your own podcast a breeze. All you need to know how to do is talk. Podcastle handles the rest. I've already recommended it to another person looking to start up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Podcastle?

One of the things I haven't been able to figure out is why there's no pause button (that I can discern) for you to use during recording. I guess if you need to stop for a bathroom break or whatever reason, they want you to just stop recording and then pick it back up by starting to record again.

Other than that I don't really have any complaints at this point. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
