"User-Friendly No-Code Forms with Powerful Controls and Flexible Deployment"
What do you like best about Plumsail Forms?

I have been working with Forms for several years and must say that they stand out from other products thanks to their high user-friendliness and genuine no-code/low-code flexibility. In addition to standard form fields, they offer powerful controls such as data tables, ink sketches, and attachment controls. Plumsail Forms supports external and even anonymous users, enabling scenarios that are not possible with Power Apps, for example. Since forms can be shared via a URL or embedded in any web page, deployment is extremely flexible.

Last but not least, they are highly customizable thanks to the JavaScript API. If you are looking for a cost-effective, scalable solution that offers deep SharePoint/Power Automate integration, give it a try! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Plumsail Forms?

Operating certain controls isn’t always intuitive, and it can take a bit of time to figure out the best way to use them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Super Flexible SharePoint Forms with Fast, Helpful Dev Support"
What do you like best about Plumsail Forms?

It is super flexible making SharePoint what it should have been out of the box.

The Devs are very helpful if there any issues or you need some assistance getting the custom forms to do what you want it to do.

I have built many sites with Plumsail Forms for our clients and will build many more!

Their documentation is thorough, making it easy to make beautiful and functional forms.

Can't recommend it enough! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Plumsail Forms?

The only issue is sometimes they release updates that break things, but once you report it, it is fixed very quicky. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Plumsail Forms?

Most of the consumers of the content in the community forum could also help other people, but it is not an issue or problem of Plumsail as a company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Quick and advanced customization with Plumsail Forms"

"Incredibly Useful Tool"
What do you like best about Plumsail Forms?

I've had my eye on Plumsail Forms for MS365 for a few years now, and even went through a trial period last year, but I didn't have much time to test it out during that time. I requested a second trial period via email around end of day, and by morning, I had support reply letting me know I was back in. That was a good sign by itself.

Within a few days, it became abundantly clear that I should've given Plumsail my full attention ages ago. There are countless benefits over base SharePoint and Lists forms, even those with JSON formatting, and further benefits over time spent developing custom SPFx React form solutions. Within the past month, I've been able to create a custom order system for a new departmental initiative, partially redesign our current RFQ process, make our vendor database much more useful, and add lookup functionality to an existing equipment management list.

Because it takes so little time and effort to get a form up and running, I plan to use Plumsail Forms anywhere there's even a slight benefit over out-of-the-box options. This is what form building should be on basically every platform. The documentation is extensive, and many of the guides are also available in video form. The developers are extremely active in the community forum, with nearly every thread receiving a direct and informative reply from a member of the team. The 100% transparent and incredibly generous price structure -- one license for the entire SharePoint tenant regardless of user count -- is a breath of fresh air in an industry obsessed with oddly secretive "contact us for pricing" and/or per-user monthly subscription costs.

Note: My high praise notwithstanding, I've been using this software for only about a month, so there may be limitations I'm not yet familiar with. That said, t Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Plumsail Forms?

For some, the need to use JavaScript to customize forms might be off-putting. As someone with only basic JavaScript knowledge, I was initially skeptical about this myself, but the developers seem to have made it as accessible as possible: there are universal field selectors to access both data and properties, and many of the code examples in the documentation will work with a simple copy, paste, and replacement of a single term. It does help substantially to understand the logic, however.

I have slight concerns about the use of field customizers for cross-site lookups long term because Microsoft briefly indicated they'd be phasing out SPFx field customizers. However, this concern didn't change my purchase decision for two reasons: one, Microsoft quickly retracted the phaseout after developer outcry, and two, Plumsail responded to a forum post about the issue with an immediate willingness to redevelop the lookups feature to use column formatting instead of SPFx. "Best Budget All Around Form Tool"
What do you like best about Plumsail Forms?

Best part of plumsail is the external data source option to populate drop down lists. It also has dynamic conditions and lots of field types. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Plumsail Forms?

Java scripting is not easy for conditional logic with entry level IT agents. Using excel online as an external data source can be limited and would like to see other options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Plumsail topped a comprehensive review of available form platforms - totally recommend it"
What do you like best about Plumsail Forms?

Airtable integration, not via zapier.

Full-on javascript support. I looked at a LOT of tools to find this feature done right.

jotform, paperform, fillout, wuFoo, FormFalcon, FormSpree, NoLoco, FormBerry, MightyForms: none of these would allow me to write code to handle volume discounts in an order form. Plumsail was literally "It".

I had questions, pinged them, and received the best support I've had in ages.

I'm not paid or incented for this review, just very pleased to have found them.

They deserve to be much better-known, PlumSail is a great tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Plumsail Forms?

minor UI issues, like:

Phone numbers must be formatted as XXX YYY ZZZZ.

Getting at settings for the accordian control is not obvious. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent tool with great support"
What do you like best about Plumsail Forms?

Plumsail forms is easy to use and allows you to functionality make SharePoint Lists into a relational database. Every time I've dealt with their support, they are responsive and very helpful. I think the product is a great value. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Plumsail Forms?

One minor annoyance is that if you add/change fields in your SharePoint List, you then need to manually update your custom Plumsail form(s) for that list. Not Plumsail's fault, I think it's just the nature of using a custom forms tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
