It also features multiple edit modes and comes pre-loaded with advanced editing tools such as motion tracking, color correction, and audio editing, which allow users to create professional-looking videos. **What do you dislike about Pinnacle Studio?** While Pinnacle Studio provides some basic audio editing tools, audio editing capabilities are limited compared to other video editing software. A nice layout for layering video clips and making cuts and transitions. There are some good audio tracks included, helping with background music selection. **What do you dislike about Pinnacle Studio?** Unstable program with too many freezes and crashes. Had to remove it. I was very sorry the program wouldn't run long enough to finish a project. I started with Version 11 and had upgraded all the way up to 19.5 hoping the reliabilty was improved. **What problems is Pinnacle Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?** Easy to edit videos, saving time assembling clips. ### 3. I started with Pinnacle Studio 17 a number of years ago, and it crashed a lot. I used their trick to set the priority in Windows to "High" and it performed better. Then I upgraded to Pinnacle Studio 18 when it was released in 2014. Again, lots of crashes. But it at least would let me edit for 30mins or so before crashing. After holding off for a number of years through the different versions, I finally decided to upgrade to Pinnacle Studio 25. I wish I had believed the reviews before I upgraded! It took only 5 mins to experience the first crash, while editing a very simple video. I changed the priority in Windows to "High", but this time it didn't help. I am on a powerful computer - brand new DELL laptop, 32GB ram, powerful CPU, etc. Miles above the minimum specs they recommend. But I experienced about 6 crashes over a period of 30 mins. And often between those crashes it wouldn't even play the video I was trying to edit. It would freeze for a minute or so, and then crash. Don't buy Pinnacle Studio! They have consistently shown over many years their inability to make their video editing software stable. On the exact same PC I have installed Filmora X. It runs flawlessly. Unfortunately Filmora X doesn't have the rich features that Pinnacle Studio has, but at least it is stable! It hasn't crashed on me once. Which just goes to show yet again that Pinnacle Studio have failed to build stability into their product, while other software companies can. **What problems is Pinnacle Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?** I tried to edit videos ... but it keeps crashing so much, it makes it nearly impossible. ### 4. Advanced and creative video editing software **Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** David M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2020 **What do you like best about Pinnacle Studio?** Software with advanced tools and options to have control over the clips, tracks and transition formats on the tracks, on which the video project is edited or developed, color control options, masking, cutting or grouping clips, making transitions or insert pre-established effects to add multiple effects to the videos, it also has a screen recorder where you can go from the recording panel to later go directly to editing, it also has a video screen division, stop motion management, follow-ups of movement and audio editing, it also has the option to add frames to the video editing to make effects and overlays **What do you dislike about Pinnacle Studio?** I would like the program to have a more extensive graphic interface to deal with the images directly on the video and start editing right there **Recommendations to others considering Pinnacle Studio:** With this video editing program it is recommended to watch tutorials to get the most out of all the advanced tools it has **What problems is Pinnacle Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use this program to edit the videos that we upload to the site, first we put together the group of images to later add video clips to the editing platform where we proceed to adapt the different files to combine them, to finally draw on the line of time the effects and inserts to increase the quality, we also proceed to start with the animation of the images where we are making multiple effects at the same time as the narration or audio pieces begin so that they are aligned with the video project, then we proceed to add the voice or music to the video depending on the circumstance, and later we add a watermark with transparency to the videos to continue to finish the final video ### 5. I like that with each new release of software they integrate cool features to spice up your finished video product. I also appreciate their excellent support. **What do you dislike about Pinnacle Studio?** There is a learning curve to Pinnacle. Finding some of the features and effects can prove a challenge. Guaranteed that you will be using YouTube as a resource for tutorials on how to get the most out of your Pinnacle product. **What problems is Pinnacle Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Pinnacle for Vlogging. Pinnacle is great for this purpose as it is easy and quick to use. You can also edit video for professional and freelance opportunities. Again, the architecture of the program is easy to use and it comes with a huge selection of filters and effects. ### 6. The software offers nice, importing, editing and exporting tools and the best of it is that has an intuitive workflow. It contains all the tools every editor needs to transform their footage into a good video The other thing I like most is that the software can be used by both novice (but not beginners) and advanced users because it combines the timeline and storyboard workflow for maximum usability. Another useful tool is the video template creator which allows you to use the video you have made for future projects as a template, and later you just need to drag and drop your new footage in. There is an app! **What do you dislike about Pinnacle Studio?** If you are a videoblogger for example, and you want video stabilization you need to upgrade to the Ultimate version of the software, also if you need 4K support or 360-degree editing tools. It is not cool! But the software is not so expensive so we cannot expect the best and most complete video editor ever for the price. **Recommendations to others considering Pinnacle Studio:** It is not a software for pure beginners but for journalism, communications or audiovisual students it will work. Also for youtubers and content creators. **What problems is Pinnacle Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?** Pinacle Studio can meet the needs of most video producers, It is easy to use. If you are a student, youtuber, or just want to make great videos at home this is a good choice. There are some advanced video editing features that are not available in Pinnacle Studio Plus and maybe you will need the Ultimate version but is great tho. ### 8. In fact, I find myself using the app more than anything! It is so nice to have the availability of video editing on a device that I can also record with! The integration of your iTunes library allows for greater video sounds! Their prebuilt templates are fun and professional looking! The easy manipulation of the timeline allows for great editing control, as well as the ability to slow down or speed up clips! Voice over is easy to use and simple to edit as well! **What do you dislike about Pinnacle Studio?** I wish they had a chroma key function so that you could do green screen work within the program. I would like to see them come out with a good set of effects for their app to allow you to do a little more in depth video work. There are limitations to this program when comparing it to other video editing suites, that would be good to get worked out. **Recommendations to others considering Pinnacle Studio:** There have been updates to the program, but not as many as I would like to see. Keep in mind that this is not a competitor for Adobe or any of the other big companies. You can even import one of you Pinacle Studio saved videos into your new video, meaning you can reuse edited content with no fuss. I like that you can use your source files and the changes you make are only saved in you project, the source is not changed. **What do you dislike about Pinnacle Studio?** Sometimes the transitions that you can use do not have enough control if you wanted to do fine twerking to make the perfect. Best to have a computer with a bit of power, or you can be sitting waiting for your preview to update, not a software issue, just video work requires a lot of processing. **Recommendations to others considering Pinnacle Studio:** Pinacle Studio is one of a few product that we upgrade as new releases come out. **What problems is Pinnacle Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use Pinacle Studio to complete YouTube projects and quickly and easily get the online. With a standard into and selection of ending that we have already made, we can pull all the content together and quickly publish to YouTube. The main working area is good with a preview, I enjoy working on video projects and know I can return to them and make changes later. With all the source files left unchanged you can produce more than one video from you source files and produce very different results without the worry that you have lost you original recordings. ### 10. It is perfectly compatible with Windows. After purchasing the license, everything is good. **What do you dislike about Pinnacle Studio?** He does not accept all video formats, which is a shame. I would have liked to reduce certain recordings, but unfortunately, the format is not compatible.
